Roy watched as Jason downed the painkillers with water and ate the toast, somewhat glad to see the man finally awake and about. They had knocked him out pretty good, but at least he could say that the younger man got himself a few decent hours of - unfortunately, forced - sleep.

love the idea of the Batfamily getting stopped and searched in the family car on the way back to the Manor and everyone’s tense expecting Jason to be the one packing like twelve guns but it’s Alfred?
