okay but!!! imagine !!! dbf!eddie being so excited to see u when u come home from university!! ur parents throwing a party for you, eddie getting dressed up for you and getting your favourite flowers for you!

and when he SEES you!!!!! he melts. you’ve gotten even prettier than when he saw you last summer. he tries to act cool and nonchalant by standing at the back of the room, waiting for you to notice him.

he’s the first person you look for when you enter the party. he looks so good in his old jacket from high school. you think it makes him look even more attractive. you see him and your stomach flips. how the hell did he get even hotter over the year?

you walk up to him, and he can’t stop himself. he picks you up and spins you.

“you’ve grown so much dove, can’t believe how big you’ve gotten.” he says, setting you down.

you giggle and blush, hoping he didn’t hear how loud your heart was beating. you feel so flustered!!! he touched you!! grabbed your wasit!!!!! CALLED YOU DOVE!!! ur brain is malfunctioning.

then ur dad comes over to see how you’re enjoying your party! and all you can think about is how much you want to be alone with your dads best friend.

eddie cant stop staring at you. he feels like a dirty old man, ogling you when you’re about 20 years younger than him. he cant help but be attracted to you. you’re the sweetest thing he’s ever seen, with the cutest pout and prettiest eyes.

he promises himself that before you leave home to go back to uni, he’s gonna make you his girl.

"but don't they hurt?" you ask remus with big doe eyes. they trail to the blunt in his hand and he shrugs, smiling softly at your adorable face.

"what d'ya mean, dove?" he asks you back, turning his head before letting out a small puff of smoke out of his mouth and into the night sky.

"don't they burn ya?" you specify, still skeptical about the rolled relief now back into his mouth. the way he does it is somewhat calming. breathe in. stay. puff out. smile. 

you find it charming.

he shakes his head no and shrugs, wrapping an arm around you to pull you closer to him.

"nah, not anymore," he replies, using his ring coated hand to stroke your shoulder softly. the cool metal feels nice on your warm skin and the sensation made you shiver a bit. the things remus do to you.

"anymore?" you whisper, hand moving to poke the end of the blunt, now intrigued. his hand quickly comes from your shoulder to your hand to shoo it away, not wanting the end of the blunt to hurt you.

"hey, hands off, lovely. they burn a bit," he says softly, hand going back to your shoulder after he gently pushes your hand away, eyes still eyeing your hand, making sure it doesn't reach back for the blunt.

"burn?" you repeat, scooting the tiniest bit away from your boyfriend, rubbing your fingers together as if you actually did touch the blunt.

remus nods and furrows his eyebrows a bit at your disheveled appearance. "s'nothing to be scared about. c'mere," he says, taking in a breath of the smoke and scooting towards you.

with his hands, he motions for you to open your mouth and you do so, albeit hesitantly. he smiles at you and his face moves closer, capturing you into a deep kiss. the smoke from the blunt moves to your mouth all hot and steamy.

the smoke hurt your lungs a bit but it felt exciting. thrilling even. you craved the taste of it, especially the smoke being in remus's mouth as well. a bonus.

you both pull back and the smoke from both of your lips seeped out and into the clear sky, making a small gray cloud over you both.

"y'liked it, love?" he asks you, pecking you on the cheek.

you nod, nuzzling into his chest. "very much,"
