when i was a kid i HATED reading. Everything was boring and made me fall asleep, or complex and i had to go back 19374719 times to figure out tf tge author was trying to say. And THEN my aung got me a Terry Pratchett book
I was sceptical at first. Book like any other, probably. Tedious, boring, and all in all just blah.
Then i read it
And when i you i ATE THAT SHIT UP i ain't fooling around
I loved it. Fell in love with his writing, fell in love with the experience if reading, whole nine yards. I think something fundamental changed in my brain that day

anyone here likes The Carpet People? As in, Terry Pratchett's first book EVER???
I very much enjoy it. Bane my beloved. Glork you himbo. Snibril the smarter and knowledge hungry younger brother. Pismir the philosopher. Brokando the tiny angry king. They deserve love too
y'all don't understand. im OBSESSED with Hozier. because what do you MEAN 'Every word I've got is foreign to me, screaming the name of a foreigner's God'??? What do you mean 'i had been lost to you, flew like a moth to you'?? 'I tell them put me back, and i would do it again, if i could love you for a minute'????? WhaT?????? HOW does this man manage to feed and destroy me in the same sentence
in my room. doing it. and by it i mean. heh. listening to hozier and doing history presentation
i think cas would be against jack being god, not because he doesn't believe he can handle it/thinks it's too much for a 3 y/o, but because of his own experience as 'god'
