IMO, And I Say This With 100% Seriousness, Mike And Elevens Greatest Relationship Flaw Is That They Love
IMO, and I say this with 100% seriousness, Mike and Eleven’s greatest relationship flaw is that they love each other too much. They do desperate things that backfire because they’re so afraid of losing the other person, and Mike wasn’t able to verbalize his feelings because they were too intense. Unironically, he loved her too much to say it out loud. It’s fantastic. Throw in some mortal peril, personal angst, and feelings of inadequacy and baby you got some grade A capital-D Drama. I mean, if your romantic leads aren’t desperately clawing at each other, unable to breathe properly outside of each other’s presence then what’s even the point? I certainly don’t fucking care lmao
In this vein, I like to think if they do have a major conflict in s5 it’ll be them both wrestling to be the one who takes the most damage in the plot in order to protect the other, or having to pull each other out of the way of bullets they’re willfully standing in front of. The good ending is them using their protective instincts in tandem and working together as a well-oiled power couple but you know, we’ll see where the vibes are :) or uh, whatever completely different thing the writers have planned lmao

I wanted to draw this scene from the book that the series didn’t adapt (first picture), the next picture didn’t happen.
This was originally drawn back around june-august but shit happened and I just got around to finish it
I didn’t use much reference, I just found out Benny does not have any white pillows in the show so.. that’s an accidental chess symbolism.
Both drawings were done a few months apart.

normalize lying to matt lauer about seeing a clown explode to death in his little clown car
headcanons about that period between season 2 and 3, like after the breakup and they navigating the rest of the school year in a unfamiliar distance? How their routine would change. I think about that a lot
After the events of season 2, Nancy hyper focused on journalism and becoming part of the school paper. Her passion for investigation and seeking truth came from her journey of uncovering the secrets of HNL, but also needing to keep herself busy to keep her mind off of Steve and the Steve shaped hole in her life.
Steve, on the other hand... He hung out with Dustin some weekends, but the rest of the school year was a blur. He continued with basketball and the swim team, but only because he was going through the motions. He wasn't sure exactly who he was ever since he lost Nancy and he didn't want to go back to the old crowd of "friends" he ditched, and at that point wasn't ready to find out yet. Hell, he was so aloof and in his own head that he didn't even notice that he was getting bagel crumbs all over the floor in class or care that prom queen Tammy Thompson practically asked him to ask her on a date nearly every Friday for three months before she eventually gave up.
Both Steve and Nancy have important relationships and lives beyond their romantic relationship with one another, but I think that losing each other shook both their worlds far more than they wanted to admit to themselves, which was shown a bit in season 3. They didn't know how to process not being a part of each other's life anymore and neither one handled it well.
My best friend loves rob pattinson and over the years she sent me a lot of articles/quotes of him, so here are some of my favourites
(there is A LOT more, this man is INSANE)

Part 2
Bonus:

why you're angry at him
Rob Pattinson characters edition | masterlist
Cedric Diggory

Because he died. Because he just had to be brave and wonderful. You're angry that he left you behind when your lives were just starting. This wasn't how things were meant to happen; fate was supposed to let everything settle into place, and you two were supposed to be happy together forever.
You're angry that he died. You're angry that he taught you the brutal lesson that shit happens
Neil

Because he lied to you.
Neil had the audacity to look you in the eye for nearly a year and lie to you. He knew the entire time that you were destined to marry another man. But he didn't do anything to change it; he claimed he knew you were happier with this other guy.
You were supposedly going to be thriving. Living your best life with the man of your dreams; not Neil.
It didn't feel that way.
Edward Cullen

Because he tried to control your life.
Edward was an idiot and he was trying to dictate the things you could and couldn't do with him; he was trying to set "boundaries".
Also because he remained remarkably calm when you started a fight over it. He sat there, looking at yih in silence, like he had the nerve to listen and he understanding. He got on your nerves so easily. He's annoying and you told him as much in a whirlwind of yelling before storming out of the meadow.
Bruce Wayne

Because he pushed you away. He became the Bat, but he did so during the darkest time of your life. After everything you two had been through together he was really pushing you away. He was doing it on purpose. And then he outright told you to leave him alone. Stop talking to him. That he wasn't able to offer you anything.
