To All Those Who Just Started To Follow Me Because Of A Post I Made, Keep In Mind That I Am Part Of A
To all those who just started to follow me because of a post I made, keep in mind that I am part of a system that isn’t created by trauma. I’m saying this because not everyone who just followed me has a DNI listed or pinned, so I don’t know if everyone following me actually supports my existence. If you are against systems that aren’t formed by trauma, please just unfollow and/or block me

I didn’t manage to catch this one, but I got a nice picture of it. Fowler’s toad, I believe. Correct me if I’m wrong, please. I love learning new things. And I love trying to catch these guys.
My dog nearly got this one, actually, but don’t worry - I didn’t let her get too close
And by the way, if anyone wants to give me a hand making an image ID for this, please do
Yeah, wolves howl to communicate over long distances, tell rival packs to back off, or just for fun. But because they look up when they do it (and wolves are typically most active at dawn, dusk, and night), people thought the moon had something to do with wolves. But if you wanna howl at the moon, go for it. I know I do sometimes
Caninekin culture is going outside in the evening only to see a full moon and thinking "Wow, a full moon. In movies, wolves howl at the moon," and then remembering that that's a myth, but now because you're thinking about howling you have to howl and so then you howl at the moon.
.

I’ve got a wolf tail that looks like the fox one in the picture. It’s cheaply made, would probably break easily, and is way too small and not fluffy enough to look even close to a real tail. But yeah, I agree with OP on this. Amazon (and probably other companies) think that they can put the word “therian” in front of cheap cosplay stuff and that more of the product will be sold
It seems like Amazon has discovered the word therian being accompanied with animal stuff. I feel this will do nothing but cause trouble.
"Look at this animal shit, it says 'therian' this is prof it's just dress up"
"Why does all this animal stuff you want say 'therian' what does that mean?"
"Look at all this 'therian' stuff I just bought. It means I'm a therian too."
This could almost replace the creativity in the community too. We thrive off of unique artistic expression. The fur farms that the tails come from are also a problem.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid but something about having Therianthropy capitalized off of is sending me bad signals. At best it could help others discover us and themselves at worst it could put a target on every single person who likes animal roleplay.

It’s like, yeah, we’re all “human,” but actually no. We’re not. We’re all real, though. We’re all here. That what should matter. Because some of us aren’t human.
I’m a hyena. I’m a fox. I’m a dragon. I’m a cryptid. That doesn’t mean I can also be a trans man. Because I am. All five. All at once.
How about instead of putting “we are all human” on shirts, we put “we are all real,” because it’s more true.
trans people, please remember that not all of us are 'human'. every time you put down the otherkin community, you are affecting transgender nonhumans who occupy trans spaces. You are telling us you think our identities are ridiculous, crazy, and simply a transphobic strawman. I see a lot of nonhumans who are also transgender, including myself, so it's not just catering to like three individuals; when you fight transphobic talking points, it's important to not step on the toes of the otherkin/nonhuman population. I cannot state this enough.
