u have no idea how insane i am abt axel specifically. he's umbra's little brother and was puppeted by a corrupted Erebus for several Thousand years and once freed he stumbled into the relative safety of Hephaestus's realm. from one outcast to another they do bond, albeit VERY awkwardly initially, but Axel is extremely receptive to everything heph teaches him and yes does end up a modern-day blacksmith. the wings are also a gift From Hephaestus. which axel loves, though he is incredibly swallowed by them half the time because he's a manlet.

honestly for me this situation isnt drawing a single bead of sweat first i grab the tiger's jaw with both hands and pry it open, quickly bandaging the wounds i received (didn't hit anything important) and pushing the tiger away while simultaneously falling into my grizzly bear stance and watching as the tiger scurries away with its tail betweens its legs at the sight of my massive shoulder humps. i roar defiantly and catch three dozen salmon at the river
