Phoenix Aster
Phoenix, a bladesinger wizard/wild magic barbarian, was brought back to life by a couple of bored deities on a whim after dying before his time. Since then, he's proven to be a close friend and confidant to not only those two, but several other powerful entities as well. Most recently, he's gained the ability to use Mystra's silver flame by being one of her chosen.
Malice Dalca
This sorcerer, bard, and criminal, over the course of years, slowly became a hero, then lost that status in an instant.
In the midst of an important battle, he sought revenge on a party member that prevented him from saving his mother's life. While he could see and prevent future deaths, most didn't know of his gift. For years, he dealt with further social exile for what—to an outside observer—seemed an irrational act of violence out of nowhere. And after a final attempt to redeem himself by single-handedly defeating a would-be lich failed to sway opinions of him, he finally snapped.
The looted magic to become a monster tempted him, and he couldn't think of anything he had left to lose. With a powerful concoction of poisons and venoms, he'd finally become what everyone thought he was. Why not prove them right? Why not embrace the new name Malice? Hell, why not try to become a god?

Magnolia Mooncrest
Magnolia Mooncrest, aka Maggie, is a sweet little Disney princess type who ended up in the Blood Wars in the Nine Hells. Honestly? I could've paid better attention to the campaign setting, but she's fit right in. Previously an Eladrin from roughly the y2k era, she signed a contract that she assumed was a record deal, but in reality, she sold her soul and sealed it in the 1' tall body of a disposable imp for an army experiment.
Where most cutesy princess-y types would call upon songbirds to help her sew a dress, Maggie's a weird lil freak who kept an intellect devourer as a puppy. She's crawled into the ribcage of an undead monster, charmed it, and named it Kevin. She fought death for an indestructible golden lute and won. Despite being a speck in comparison, she intimidated a Roc (yknow, the bird of prey as large as a mountaintop) into turning tail and leaving. Mags has also helped sell a Slap-Chop™ (yes, the literal "as seen on TV" product) not once, but twice. She helped sing an ocean apocalypse to peace with the help of 7 orchestras, and she's polymorphed both a Djinn and a Solar-ranking Angel into frogs to avoid a fight.

Phoenix hates formalwear, but he'll have to deal with it. Also he's like, fantasy Scottish, so he gets a fun formal kilt instead of the typical tux for an upcoming gala in game 😌
