Isn’t it just wonderful! I’m SO happy with it.

I discovered raphcrow from their work on the Redwall playing cards from many seasons ago, and was absolutely enamored by their work. I reached out to them for a commission, and lucky me, they were happy to work with me!

Some of my favorite parts include that amazing depiction of my necklace! If you don’t know, I cross-stitched and strung a necklace of the center of the great tapestry: Martin the Warrior holding his sword. The hair is also amazing (I’ve cut it since then, so this style is out of date, but it’s one of my favorite styles that I’ve ever had), as well as the glasses perched on my nose, my eyebrows, my blue eyes, my bum lip, the sleeves on the habit, and for some reason I really like the nails. All around incredible.

The drawing is so detailed and the details are all so perfect. Its really beautiful. Look how great I look!

#1 and #2 are from two separate nights, where I was lacking inspiration and asked for prompts. Someone asked for a “gurt happy moler” and “a shrew at a campfire”

#3 is an incomplete sketch, but oh well. Someone made a joke about how the name “Cringo Blam-Blam” would fit right in to the Redwall books or something along those lines, so of course I took that as a challenge and now he’s unofficially official. We assume he is/was a cellarhog who got a little too into pyrotechnics.

#4 and #5 were inspired by some various pics from that AI photo generator that’s currently trending; another member of the server put through several different prompts, and others commented on the kind of characters they could see developing from it. The mouse is William, a former Abbey Warrior with severe PTSD, but now he lives in Mossflower and raises butterflies. Then there’s Softtail, a very shy fox who also lives in Mossflower. He and William are buds.
