This is so sweet, I’m so glad my hcs are of interest!I imagine Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to be very much like Miguel and Tulio from The Road To El Dorado, or Pippin and Merry from LOTR. I’ve read “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead” (and still own a copy!) and I have also seen the 1990 movie. This is where most of my personality inspiration for them is drawn from.Rosencrantz - Happy-go-lucky, philosophical yet not too bright, accidentally charming. He looks to Guildenstern to be the more grounded of the two of them and therefore feels that he can be more carefree. Things like music, food, and stargazing delight him to no end. He wants to go wherever Guildenstern goes. In the modern sense he’s the first person in the car to suggest singing 99 bottles of beer before Guildenstern tells him ‘Rose…you get to 98 bottles and I’ll toss you out the window.’ High key in love with Guildenstern.Guildenstern - The more serious and logical of the two. Quick to roll his eyes at Rosencrantz but even quicker to care for him. He remains right by his side through thick and thin, even if he has to sigh deeply a couple times throughout the day. He might never admit it, but Rosencrantz is the best thing to ever happen to him because he reminds him to enjoy life’s adventures, even if it’s not an adventure he planned. Low key in love with Rosencrantz.
