Im Joining Freakblr Month! I Might Not Do All The Prompts (because Honestly I Still Dont Really Know

I’m joining Freakblr Month! I might not do all the prompts (because honestly I still don’t really know much about the Freakblr Lore) but I still kinda wanna participate in the character-related prompts soooooo yeah! Day Two! Favorite characters time!

Drew is my obviously my all-time favorite. He’s comfort character, my muse, my entire personality and tbh he became my biggest coping mechanism after a particularly dysfunctional relationship. I absolutely adore his character’s complexity and I found a lot of his actions and feelings to be pretty relatable unfortunately. Seriously this little stinker means so much to me.

Jake’s just a little scrimblo. Just a silly little guy. He’s cute, he makes me smile, and his struggles being a people-pleaser are hella relatable. I like him.

Zander used to be my all-time favorite, up until episode nine, actually. And even though I’m not as crazy about him as I used to be, I still love his character. I actually really like his character development of learning to trust Jake and I love his personality and just like the two mentioned above, he is incredibly relatable.

Luke is just… I love Luke. I don’t care how many people say he’s boring or he’s cardboard. He’s the sweetest character on this show and I don’t care what anyone says, I think his relationship with Zander was adorable. The PDA, the cringey pet-names, the silly teasing and flirting, I ate that shit up. He’s just genuinely such a comforting character, he’s so precious and sweet and kind and he’s a good boyfriend and he’s such a goober and I adore him.

A message to Lettuce Lover from Henry Theory Anon

I apologize I do also love lettuce HOWEVER. That is not what I stated in the theory. Lettuce is not a bit, but LETTUCE JUICE is a bit. Have you tried to juice a Lettuce? How many letti (comedic plural for lettuce) would you need to make one lettuce juice? I think personally the fact that Henry states he likes lettuce once, was low-key made fun of, and then shows up with an ACTUAL JUICE BOX OF LETTUCE feels like indication that it's a bit... idk. Just my thoughts.

Because for me the appeal of lettuce is the crunch, not the taste because lettuce tastes like almost nothing. Henry even states the crunch was what made his mouth drool in the show, meaning the crunch was his favourite part. But since people latched onto the "lettuce" part and not the "lettuce cruncyy and I humgry" part, he made "lettuce juice" instead.

Okay this’ll be the last 🥬-related message I’ll answer (I don’t want my blog overrun with 🥬 post lol) but this is a fair point. But I feel like that would further point towards Henry being self-aware of his role as a comedic device since he’s AWARE of what the fans think of him as. Which is crazy lol.

Also I’ve noticed people tend to draw Drew in one of two ways:

Option 1- Your average depressed emo teen.

Option 2- TWINK.

(Both are correct)

Day 12! Favorite Crack Ship!

Druffering HANDS DOWN EASILY THE BEST SHIP IN THE SHOW. Drew is just a creature of suffering. A magnet to pain if you will.

Day 8! Least Favorite Character! (Warning: I get heated in this.)

Okay, now I know these two are fairly popular in the fandom, and to an extent I understand why. I’m not trying to knock anyone who likes these characters, I honestly just want an excuse to vent about why I personally do not like them.

Quick explanation for Zoey: I think she’s annoying. She’s one of those two-faced popular bitches who talks about everyone behind their backs because she believes she’s better than them. I hated these girls in school. I’m not gonna like them in my silly little Gacha show. She’s also a total brat, and I find a lot of her lines annoying. And on top of it all she’s a gold-digger and she cheated on Drew. (And that’s not nice.)

Okay, now for Lia. Let’s get the easy stuff out of the way: Similar to Zoey, I find her super annoying and I hate how much she flirts with Jake. It’s like her entire character up until Episode 8. Genuinely, nothing about her stands out to me beyond that. She’s just constantly hitting on him, being a bigger simp than Drew of all people, and it’s super annoying. I hate the trope of “Character A keeps flirting with Character B because B will reciprocate eventually” it’s genuinely so annoying and makes me feel slightly uncomfortable. And I’m not too interested in her backstory with Hailey either (beyond the potential Hailia).

But despite all of this, I never really hated-hated her until Episode 10. Where it was revealed that she was the one who leaked the audio of Jake back-talking the club.

Words genuinely cannot express how much I hated this scene, nor can they express how much I hated her in this exact moment. All I can really say is:

JAKE👏SHOULD👏NOT👏HAVE👏FORGIVEN👏HER

Genuinely, it infuriates me so much he did so. She literally got him kicked out of the Music Club; the one group he felt comfortable around and accepted in. She went and completely fucked him over all because she was jealous.

And honestly, I feel like the build-up of her jealousy was a lot worse than Drew’s. Maybe I just need to go back and rewatch the episodes, but I feel like Lia’s jealousy wasn’t as well portrayed I guess?? Like, I don’t know. I just feel like there weren’t enough scenes between her and Jake to actually make me feel bad for her or make her actions more understandable.

And I hated how weak her reasonings behind her actions were. “Oh, you don’t pay attention to me anymore!!” All you do is flirt with him and he’s made it clear he doesn’t reciprocate, what do you expect?!

I don’t care if she owns up to it and apologizes. I still find her actions shitty and I don’t have to forgive her. (Neither SHOULD JAKE-)

Seriously I feel like Jake should’ve taken like at least a little bit of time before forgiving Lia, like… she fucked him over and he’s just like “oh yeah that’s fine sorry I ignored you for making me uncomfortable.”GSGSYHDSJ-

Okay, but despite all this, I gotta admit I love seeing fan-interpretations of these characters. Honestly, makes them a lot more interesting.

(I wonder if this is gonna shock anyone, because I don’t think I’ve ever complained about them on here and I do draw them quite a bit lol.)
