just the regular things, cuddling, chatting, and spending time together in general makes him feel a lot better

he’s pretty simple when it comes to his interests, and when he’s upset he isn’t too difficult to deal with. give him a few kisses and a rub on the hair and that should do the trick <3

when he’s upset, you should just let him be close to you. he finds it nice to sit next to you and just enjoys your presence. you don’t have to say anything, just being there for him is all he really needs from you

might be a bit clingy but he still respects your space and won’t be over-bearing

honestly would prefer if you didn’t ask him straight on why he’s upset. it kind of makes him feel embarrassed. try to hint at it and he’ll take the initiative to tell you what’s wrong. but you have to go at his own pace.

let him be the one to kiss and hug you, it gives him a sense of control over himself. be open to his body language and non-verbal cues because he isn’t going to be as expressive as usual when he’s feeling down.

take it slow or fast, depends on him. be attentive and observant of how he’s feeling and go on from there !!

you can’t tease him when he’s down because he takes it to heart. if you tell him he’s annoying as a joke, he understands that you’re messing around. but when he’s upset, he takes it personally.

it’s a lot easier to hurt his feelings when he’s sad, so you have to focus on just taking care of him. praises make him so happy !! tell him he’s smart and talented and handsome!!

when he’s upset he’s just a lot more sensitive to what you put out there, so make it easier for him and shower him with love n affection <3

skincare routines, dates, movies, candlelit dinners, literally take him outside and do something with him, he’ll love it. he just wants to go anywhere with you, and if he’s upset, that’ll work wonders.

and if it’s a stay-at-home kind of day, spend time just hanging out with him and he’ll be relieved of all stress <3 he just really likes to go out and spend time with you. makes him feel all soft inside

❛ Looking down at your hand reached out towards him, he's at a loss. After a few moments of staring at it, and looking at you for any hint, he clasps your hand and gives it an awkward shake. At the sight of your barely contained sniggering, his eyes widen and he quickly inquires about your sudden outburst. This only sends you into further peals of laughter, to his absolute bewilderment. He watches you helplessly until you start to calm down, briefly taken by surprise when he feels you pull him into a warm hug. With a hopeless smile, he finds that he's happy too to see you smiling. ❜

GIVES IT A KISS ON THE KNUCKLES

He quickly picks what he thinks is the best of the options available to him, bowing slightly and pulling your hand to his lips, pressing a delicate kiss to the top of your knuckles. His eyes flit up to your face to gauge your reaction. Your wide blown eyes seem to be answer enough for him, his back straightening as he takes in your fidgetiness. A chuckle slips his mouth and he directs your attention from what he had done subtly, although he prides himself on being able to bring out such a reaction from you. ❜

He peers at you and is quick to let go of your hand when he sees the smile tugging at your lips. His cheeks burn as he listens to your little chuckles and turns away from you to hide the redness of his face. When you reach out to ruffle his hair, he grabs a hold of your hand and pulls you close into a warm hug, taking you completely by surprise. Pulling away, he sends you a bright grin when he sees your shocked expression, thinking about teasing you more often. ❜

Abruptly, you snatch your hand away and turn your back to him, ever to his amusement. His voice gently coaxes you to turn back around again so he could remember the face you'd made forever. Carefully, as though afraid to break you, he spins you around to face him and he swears he's never felt more at home than when looking at your face. ❜
