With the fannon interpretations I find it interesting to look at this idea of a mandalorian nuclear family and then look at mando’a which cares so little for gender. (As in, there are two gendered words that I know of and in one context one of the two can be gender neutral)

I dearly hope that one day that female mandalorians who are more old cannon tradtional appear sometime. It intrigues me to see differences in different groups of mandos

I could go on and on about the similarities between ninjago and star wars but today the thoughts are simple.

Kai so obviously starts off as a mandalorian. He values armor, weapons, and especially family. He’s such a mando. Wu is a Jedi master. The whole samurai vs ninja thing? Mando n jedi. Love. I need to draw this at some point.

When you realize that maybe liking wearing a helmet this much is probably not the most neurotypical thing and enjoying it so much when people think you’re a guy and use he/him when you’re in this set of armor is maybe not the most cis thing to do and then you rethink life and HUH and now you don’t know what to do and oh dear this cardboard armor is the closest thing you have to experimenting with gender presentation bc it hides long hair and curves
