Old Friends, Part Three. Eli Moskowitz X Reader

old friends, part three. eli moskowitz x reader
summary đŁ: in which two old friends reunite but it doesnât end how the reader had hoped.
warnings đ«: swearing, small amount of violence, reader is real emotional/bipolar, and writing that might not make sense/in need of writing
slaterâs note đŻ: hi! LAST PART, honestly thought it would go longer but iâm pretty sure this is it, if some of yâall want a fourth part, iâll take it into consideration :) but thank you guys

part one, part two, part three, part four
âi fucking hate you.â
words he could barely process before you used all the force built up in your body to shove eli, not caring where he ended up and certainly not what he would do to you next.
and you grinned drunkly, watching him topple backwards into moonâs heated pool, a fulfilled smile already on your face before you could even process the grip he had ahold of on your arm.
you let out a shriek once feeling the tips of your sneakers dip out into the edge of the pool, water soon wrapping around you like a cool blanket.
it had felt like you were under there forever, the heated pool, not so heated, with bubbles flying out from underneath you, but you had resurrfaced just as fast as you went under, the boy who had pulled you in already above the green colored pool from the effect of the LEDS, the side of his face absolutely enraged.
eli turned to you quickly, grabbing onto forearm, practically dragging you out of the pool and you had just wished the water that was soaked in your clothes would have dragged you down lower, you wish the water would have prevented you from moving at all.
the crowd of teens previously surrounding you and toryâs drink off now faced you and hawk, it being completely silent to the point that you could hear the sway of pools water sloping back and forth against the pool tile walls so clearly that it hurt your ears.
you searched for miguel while being roughly pulled away from the scene and right as you did, his eyes finding yours, you were swallowed deeper into the crowd of teens and then into moonâs home before you were in the driveway where less and less people begun to appear.
you had stopped pulling once you had went out the front door, content with how he was about to beat the shit out of you for embarrassing him. for embarrassing hawk.
eli shoved you into the passenger side door of his car before getting into the drivers seat after rounding the front of his nice red car that made you wonder where he found the money to afford it.
âwhat the fuck is your problem?â
you flinched and maybe you shouldnât have because his voice was rather unusually calm for someone who was soaking wet from being pushed into a pool.
he narrowed his brows at your strange reaction before flattening out into a blank expression once again, waiting for you to say something because now was your time.
âeli, i donât-â
âshut up,â he said quickly, âyou fucking humiliated me tonight for your own petty reasons, youâre giving me a reason as to why.â
an opportunity like this would never happen again, especially after tonight. and as much as you wanted to stay silent-
âspeak faster.â
-he was practically breathing down your neck with how inpatient he was at that moment.
âi hate the person youâve turned into,â you mumbled, forcing it out, avoiding his gaze that was so obviously set on you, consuming you, wanting you to look back at him.
just look.
âi hate the person youâve turned into, and i hate the way you ignore me so easily, and i hate the way you donât miss me, and i hate the way you act like you donât give a fuck, i hate the way that you walk around and kiss other girls like ours meant nothing to you, like i meant nothing to you,â tears dipped out of your eyes, sending gel like orbs of clear liquid down your cheeks, your voice now raised.
âi hate you, i hate you so fucking much!â
eli slowly closed his eyes, as if it would help shield himself away from your yelling, your drunken curses and cries that so easily slipped out of your mouth and into his ears.
âyou never cared about me, you never gave a fuck about me or demetri, and how could you? after all the fucking shit weâve been through?â
he clenched his jaw, opening his eyes back up, meeting the glossy shells of yours, anger filling and pouring in and out of every feature glued onto your face.
you hated the way he stared at you, you hated the way he looked so blank, like he didnât care, just like he never did. it hurt.
it hurt, it hurt, it hurt.
and you wanted to make him hurt.
âfuck you!â you smacked his chest, causing him to flinch back against the car door, âfuck you! you donât even care right now, do you? you never did.â
you smacked his chest again and again and again till he stopped flinching away, absorbing the blows against his chest.
you were drunk.
he had to repeat it in his head, you were drunk. you werenât sensible, you werenât able to piece it all together because you were drunk.
âyou stupid fucking boy,â you spat, your hits becoming harder and harder as you let the anger seep deeper into your pores, âtoo fucking insecure about his past that he has to make sure everything of it is eliminated. fuck you, fuck you and your stupid back tattoo.â
eli quickly grabbed onto your wrists quickly, forcing them over your head, pressing them against the passenger seat window. cold glass lightly touching your wrists as he held them their, tightly.
he was leaned over you, resisting a glare about to take over his stare, trying to hold the pointed and serious look instead. he didnât want you to see you had strucked a nerve, he just wanted you to calm down.
he was having a hard time himself staying in that aroma.
âyou done?â he raised his eyebrows, watching the tears dry on your cheeks while you still had bubbles of water glazed over your eyes, trying your best to hold it all back.
âfuck you.â
âyes, fuck me,â he whispered, âget over it, y/n.â
he paused, analyzing the position you were in before continuing, âpeople change, for better or for worse, they change.. so just accept it... you changed too.â
you swallowed, the amount of confrontation he had in that moment was overwhelming to your slowly sobering self, but you still were largely intoxicated, making you glare.
âokay, hawk,â you hissed, pushing against the strong hold he had on your wrists, and for that moment, he pressed harder against the glass, âiâm not the one who had to entirely change their personality just so my sensi would like me.â
âand iâm not the one who had to turn to alcohol just to cope with the fact that i had no more friends,â he shot back, completely unbothered from your words, even though it should have stung.
and it did for a second before he had to remind himself, you didnât mean it.
you were drunk. you were drunk. you were drunk. you were drunk.
âfuck you,â you repeated but this time it came out as a whine, you tried jerking forward but you made difference to his strong hold, âyouâre the reason i even started drinking in the first place, eli, you ruined me!â
his glare softened at your words, causing him to let go and pull away slowly back into the drivers seat, sitting properly.
âitâs not because i didnât have any friends, it was because of the one friend i didnât have,â you rubbed your wrists, âfucking you and your stupid ass.â
ây/n, i-â eli stopped mid phrase, his lips pressed into a thin line, trying to think of how he could phrase correctly with the weight suddenly pressed onto his chest, âi didnât know.â
âwhy would you?â you whispered, hurt soaking your voice, âyou never answered my calls, never showed up, never-â
âi shouldnât have ignored you,â he cut you off quickly not wanting to be reminded of all he did, his voice was so silent that you almost didnât hear it. âi shouldnât have done any of that to you.â
licking the inside of your cheek, you glanced over to him, hoping he wasnât looking at you, and he wasnât, he looked ahead straight into the dark sky, staring at the stars through his front windshield.
the stars.
they flickered and shone brightly, lighting up the sky like a lamp in a dark room. you swore you could see them move, rotating around like one of those mobiles that hung above young childrenâs heads, coaxing them to sleep.
dancing stars.
you let a small smile of a strange satisfaction take over your drunken state at the sight of the glowing stars, the corners of your cheeks arising and your eyes crinkling in the corners.
calm.
âiâm so sorry...â were the last words that you allowed to reach your ears, making your cheeks go red and your body go slack in content, the rest history as the car started with a hum and ended with the sound of exhaust, the stars following you all the way to the end, following two old friends to the end.

Hello would like to request literally ANYTHIMG Louis partridge. M tyvm goodnight

too late now, part one. louis partridge x reader
summary đŁ: in which reader wants to fix amends but louis canât find himself to forgive her, memories still stuck in his head
warning/s đ«: none, just angst
slaterâs note đŻ: gladly anon! i love this boy and really need more motivation to write for him. i do also think i will need a part two for this one so look out for that, also this story is inspired by this list of prompts!

part one, part two
you werenât surprised when you heard the sound of his voicemail, his sweet voice saying to leave a message and heâll get back as soon as he can. it made you sigh, pursing you lips, knowing he probably wouldnât get back to you, he never did.
the sound of the beep made you inhale, âhey louis, itâs me again...â you paused, wondering if whether it was a good idea to do this, âi know iâm the last person you want to talk to but i really want to see you, really, please, we need to figure things out. iâll be at roseford tomorrow at noon.â
you quickly hung up your phone, setting the device down on your dinning room table.
it was too late to go back now.
â
nothing could compare to the nervousness you felt right in that moment, sitting in the roseford garden restaurant. even the soft, colorful lively flowers couldnât calm you.
you bit the nail of your thumb, bouncing your knee up and down, just knowing nothing good could happen, he wasnât going to put your unnerving thoughts to rest, and that was because:
he wasnât coming.
you just knew he wasnât coming, it was half an hour past the time you had told him youâd be at the roseford. maybe he hadnât even gotten the message, was it possible that you were waiting for nothing?
that probably would be the case since louis barely checked his voicemail box let alone his messages when the two of you were still together.
he spent most his time sleeping than on his phone or with you. he was a tired kid who would rather cuddle in bed then go out for a night of fun or even watch a movie in the comfort of his own home. no, he just wanted the comfort of his bed.
you sighed once more, taking a sip of the iced water that had been refilled more than once in the past thirty minutes. you had began to get weird looks from your waiter after the first three times, him noticing you were literally only sitting there, not even looking through the menu. it was embarrassing.
and you were just about to give up, your body going slack, knowing it was too late for anything to happen now.
but the sight of the boy entering the beautiful building proved you otherwise, his back slouched but he was walking rather quickly, like he had a mission, like he was anxious, and he was, you could tell by the way he clutched the back of his neck when he reached nearer to you that his nerves were up and on edge.
you smiled softly once he sat across from you, a waiter coming by a second later like clockwork asking if he wanted anything to drink. but louis denied him, turning to you, causing you to frown... because he was frowning. an annoyed one with a hint of sadness intertwined with his lips.
âwhat do you want?â
your mouth opened slightly at the harshness of his voice, âlouis- i just wanted to catch-â
âi came because you wanted to figure things out,â he said quickly, eyes not meeting yours but rather switching from the table to the side of your face to the floor, but never your eyes, âiâm here to move on, not play another stupid game of yours.â
âlouis no this isnât-â
âbut isnât it?â he leaned forward on his forearms, silence taking over for a awhile, his eyes now meeting yours. he wasnât so sure you werenât messing with his head right in that moment, calling him months later after it all went down, calling to sort things out.
it didnât sound right to him and he was still healing from the wound you caused him... as were you, and as the word âgameâ flew from his mouth, it deepened yours.
âi would have done anything for you,â he said suddenly and rather quickly, âanything.â
his words stung as he said them in regret, like he shouldnât have even trusted you in the first place, like speaking to you now pained him, having regret every memory spent and wasted together.
âlouis, you deserved better than me,â you said plainly, making it your turn to divert your eyes from his, grief and immediate guilt filling the core of your stomach.
he ignored you, pursing his lips as his mind began to fill up with memories upon memories that stacked up like files to the roof of his head. he couldnât push them away, not with being face to face with you.
the face he memorized, dreamed about, fell in love with, a face that he longed for every single night even after the night you ended it all.
and for what?
it was rainy, water pressing and flowing down against louisâ bedroom window when he got your call, a smile on his face as your contact picture popped up, filling his whole phone screen.
he answered the phone after the second ring, with a pep in his voice making you wince, eyes tightening shut at how much harder it would be, having to ruin his cheery mood.
âhi love.â
âhi... lou.â
and he knew right away something was wrong, just by the tone of your voice he knew you were holding something back. it was built up in your chest, straining the sound of your voice.
âwhatâs wrong, y/n?â
âlouis, iâm sorry,â you whispered, remembering it so clearly, so, so, clearly just as he did, âi am so sorry, i will never not be.â
and he looked you with something that resembled a hateful glare, eyes squinted, his lips pressed in a thin line. he stood up, looking away from you and more out into the garden before mumbling;
âsorry doesnât fix things.â

way too early. roommate!louis partridge x reader
summary đŁ: youâre a deeper sleeper than louis, creating conflict when you are not awoken from your alarm and he is.
warnings đ«: unedited, swearing, asshole louis, and slight tension? idkÂ
slaterâs note đŻ: i got the writing prompt from here, inbox is open, enjoy :)

the loud blaring of your alarm set for 6:30 could be very easily heard through the paper thin walls of the apartment you and louis shared.
he stared awake at the ceiling, his eyes tracing the cracks as the very annoying sound repeated and repeated in the background. he was having a good dream, one that didnât involve living in the crappy apartment he was in now in new york on the edge of a college campus.Â
he had been laying there awake for five minutes, motionless, hoping as each passing second went by you would finally be disturbed from your very apparent deep sleep and into reality.
louis knew it wouldnât happen anytime soon and you would have to wake up in your own way.
in the short amount of time of sharing an apartment with you, louis had learned a lot about you, picking things up fast. he learned that you had very unhealthy habits. he learned that you only showered in the late hours of the night or in the very early hours of the morning. he learned you hated a dirty kitchen but were always the one making the messes. he learned you hated the campus coffee but for some reason always had a cup every other morning, hoping it would be better from the time before. and he learned that you always slept through your alarm.Â
every morning. every morning he had to deal with this. and every morning he had never bothered to say anything and just put up with a noise, shoving a pillow over his face hoping heâd either suffocate to death or just something to make that irritating noise go away.
louis groaned, sliding onto his feet where the cold wooden floor pressed against the bottom of his feet. he shook the sleep from his head as he exited his room, walking into your own, deciding today he would finally do something.Â
his eyes immediately landed on your phone, the screen screaming away on the nightstand right next to you, where you were peacefully unbothered.
he pressed the orange âstopâ button, the sound finally ceasing, a very quiet aroma taking over, causing him to sigh, his head dipping back, eyes meeting the ceiling in relief.Â
âyou fucking-â he looked to you before cutting himself off from saying something rude, his lips pressing into a thin line as he decided to take more of an observation of you sleeping instead.Â
so peaceful, so calm, so fragile...
so annoying that you were sleeping and he wasnât.
louis flicked your nose causing you to flinch up from your sleep.
he rolled his eyes, mumbling, âso thatâs what wakes you.â
you groaned, rolling over onto your stomach, shying away from his presence.
ây/n, get up,â he pressed his hand on your back, nudging you more from the current state you were in, that being between dreamland and consciousness.
you pushed so hard to stay in dreamland, brushing off louisâ light pushes that you hadnât really processed to be him until you felt his hand wrap around your ankle tightly, yanking you from your bed.
you yelp, flinching up before settling into the cold hard wooden floor, your body soon aching.
âyou have class, get up,â his voice was ïżŒstern as he stared down at you and the way you practically cowered away, looking for something of warmth to cover yourself from the cold apartment air that ate away at anything that gave off remote heat.Â
âno, louis,â you groaned, doing a half crunch as he began dragging you out to the living roomÂ ïżŒof your apartment, âplease, just let me sleep, class doesn't matter that much anyways.âÂ
âiâve been up for a ten solid minutes due to your stupid alarm, iâm not letting you sleep,â he harshly explained to you causing you to groan again as he walked away towards the kitchen, filling a clear glass he got from one of the grey cabinets full of faucet water.Â
âlouis, please.â
he didnât answer, knowing you weren't going to move anytime soon nor would you try to wake yourself up. you just needed some motivation to get up and get ready.Â
the boy walked back over to you, holding the glass over your now calm body, slowly falling back into sleep with your eyes shut and chest falling up and down steadily.Â
with one more thought, louis dipped the glass down, the water pouring out fast and landing on top of your body. you immediately sat up, another yelp coming from the back of your throat, cold faucet water pouring nonstop until you were entirely soaked from head to waist.Â
âyou fucking prick!â you smacked the back of his clothed leg.Â
you hoped up to your feet, your body fuming as you tried your best to size up to louis despite him being a bit taller without trying. he looked down at you lazily and slightly unbothered, eyes dull, not worried about what you would do next, because you really couldn't do anything.Â
âwhatâs your problem?â
âmy problem is that you set your alarm too early for an eight oâclock class,â he mumbled, eyeing you carefully as you glared at him with pure annoyance mixed with the slightest hatred for not only disturbing your sleep but soaking you with freezing cold water.Â
âi would clock you in the face right now-â
âyeah, right, i bet you would,â you barely got your sentence out before he spoke, nodding in a mocking sense, knowing you wouldn't hit him. you were too fragile to do anything to inflict physical harm on anyone, especially him.Â
not that you cared about him too much to hit him, but you knew if you tried, you would fail in a very painful way.Â
âfucking take a shower,â he mumbled, tossing the glass on one of the chairs that filled the living room before giving you one last look with your white tee-shirt sticking to your skin and water droplets swimming down your thighs slowly.Â
he walked back to his room, slamming the door shut, leaving you in a very pissy mood. you would have ignored his command, matching his actions and just go back to your room but you were already soaked in water, you might as well have gotten it over before he came back out and did any worse.Â
