Only The Best For My Best. Louis Partridge X Reader

only the best for my best. louis partridge x reader

summary 📣: in which louis and reader draw each other for a buzzfeed interview but he can’t help but rally her up mid interview with an insult

warnings đŸš«: very much unedited, cursing? nothing really, the insult isn't really an insult in the first place lol

slater’s note 🗯: i love louis partridge (also comment to be added to my other louis works) and this is sort of inspired by this work here

“y/n—y/n she’s crazy, i have no idea how we’re friends.”

your mouth goes wide as your eyes connect to his through the camera, a sly smile on his face as he tried to suppress his little boy giggles of mischief.

“louis partridge, keep your mouth shut,” you called out to him, shaking your head as that was when his laughs broke out.

“you are, i swear,” he smiles, trying to hide the laughs again, “you make some of most stupidest, most impulsive decisions i have ever seen. if someone told you to jump off a bridge you would do it, one hundred percent.”

your mouth widens once again, looking at him with absolute disbelief, “and who would be the one to tell me to jump off that bridge? you, so shut up, you imbecile.”

he laughed again watching you roll your eyes in new profound annoyance. he had come to a realization from the past month while doing online press, he could annoy you very easily. it didn’t matter what exactly he said but he had found that accusing you of certain things would really set you off, such as impulsive, crazy, not very bright, anything that basically questioned your sanity and intelligence.

but he knew the next time he would see you, you would beat the absolute shit out of him for making a fool of you for all of the internet to see.

“hey, hey, it’s all jokes,” he said in between laughs, watching you glare at him through the screen.

yeah, you would really knock him to the ground.

“shut up,” you said again, finishing up your drawing; a task you had been given by the buzzfeed interviewer before louis had decided to throw you a curveball in conversation that he knew would piss you off.

you were supposed to be drawing each other and you would say you were doing pretty well until he called you crazy, and you started turning his normal facial features into something drastically different, making him look like a cartoonish boy.

“you done with your drawing yet?” “yeah.”

“go on now, show it off,” you motioned, your tone no longer amused, or enlightened, but a bit annoyed, and he could tell, that being the main reason as to why he couldn’t stop smiling. “show off the master piece, louis.”

“i don’t know if i want to,” he mumbled, scratching the back of his neck, “i’m kind of nervous.”

“shut your trap,” you said quickly, “you weren't nervous to question why you were friends with me or call me crazy.”

“it was a joke, darling, you know that.”

you were so close to flipping him off at the sound of darling, his attempt to lighten you up, but instead you pressed your lips into a thin line, ignoring him.

louis giggled again after a good amount of silence, “fine, i’ll go first.”

he flipped the small notebook around to reveal numerous pencil marks and scribbles on the white page that all came together in attempt to create a replica of your face.

a real good attempt.

you squinted, trying to get a good look at the drawing and you practically gasped, “why does that look good?”

“all talent over here, baby,” he didn't skip a beat, raising his hands up in a cocky expression with a grin on his face, “only the best for my best.”

your cheeks tinted red as you looked down at your lap, shaking your head. the fueled annoyance you had for him seconds ago beginning to slowly vanish out of thin air.

louis knew very well exactly how to fire you up just as well as make you nervous, the good kind of nervous where you got all flustered. your cheeks glowed red, and you'd fidget with your fingers, avoiding eye contact.

“lets see yours now.”

“no.”

“no?” he quirked his brow, “why?”

“because now i feel bad,” you mumbled, no longer caring for him calling you impulsive and crazy, “you did real good on yours and i kinda.. didn’t.”

he smiled sweetly, “i don’t care, i just would like to see your perception of me.”

you rolled your eyes, turning your notebook around to face the camera, allowing the boy to see your very cartoonish drawing of him. and he laughed, his smile spreading wider across his cheeks.

“you’re gonna mail that to me,” he mumbled, “i’ll have my mum hang it right above the fire place.”

you closed your notebook, pulling it away from the camera while your cheeks grew redder and redder as his flattering words flew through your ears, “oh shut it, it wasn’t that good.”

“i still enjoyed it,” he reassured, “i mean it’s probably the best drawing i’ve seen of myself by far.”

you smiled, humming, “only the best for my best.”

Way Too Early. Roommate!louis Partridge X Reader

way too early. roommate!louis partridge x reader

summary 📣: you’re a deeper sleeper than louis, creating conflict when you are not awoken from your alarm and he is.

warnings đŸš«: unedited, swearing, asshole louis, and slight tension? idk

slater’s note 🗯: i got the writing prompt from here, inbox is open, enjoy :)

image

the loud blaring of your alarm set for 6:30 could be very easily heard through the paper thin walls of the apartment you and louis shared.

he stared awake at the ceiling, his eyes tracing the cracks as the very annoying sound repeated and repeated in the background. he was having a good dream, one that didn’t involve living in the crappy apartment he was in now in new york on the edge of a college campus.

he had been laying there awake for five minutes, motionless, hoping as each passing second went by you would finally be disturbed from your very apparent deep sleep and into reality.

louis knew it wouldn’t happen anytime soon and you would have to wake up in your own way.

in the short amount of time of sharing an apartment with you, louis had learned a lot about you, picking things up fast. he learned that you had very unhealthy habits. he learned that you only showered in the late hours of the night or in the very early hours of the morning. he learned you hated a dirty kitchen but were always the one making the messes. he learned you hated the campus coffee but for some reason always had a cup every other morning, hoping it would be better from the time before. and he learned that you always slept through your alarm.

every morning. every morning he had to deal with this. and every morning he had never bothered to say anything and just put up with a noise, shoving a pillow over his face hoping he’d either suffocate to death or just something to make that irritating noise go away.

louis groaned, sliding onto his feet where the cold wooden floor pressed against the bottom of his feet. he shook the sleep from his head as he exited his room, walking into your own, deciding today he would finally do something.

his eyes immediately landed on your phone, the screen screaming away on the nightstand right next to you, where you were peacefully unbothered.

he pressed the orange ‘stop’ button, the sound finally ceasing, a very quiet aroma taking over, causing him to sigh, his head dipping back, eyes meeting the ceiling in relief.

“you fucking-“ he looked to you before cutting himself off from saying something rude, his lips pressing into a thin line as he decided to take more of an observation of you sleeping instead.

so peaceful, so calm, so fragile...

so annoying that you were sleeping and he wasn’t.

louis flicked your nose causing you to flinch up from your sleep.

he rolled his eyes, mumbling, “so that’s what wakes you.”

you groaned, rolling over onto your stomach, shying away from his presence.

“y/n, get up,” he pressed his hand on your back, nudging you more from the current state you were in, that being between dreamland and consciousness.

you pushed so hard to stay in dreamland, brushing off louis’ light pushes that you hadn’t really processed to be him until you felt his hand wrap around your ankle tightly, yanking you from your bed.

you yelp, flinching up before settling into the cold hard wooden floor, your body soon aching.

“you have class, get up,” his voice was ïżŒstern as he stared down at you and the way you practically cowered away, looking for something of warmth to cover yourself from the cold apartment air that ate away at anything that gave off remote heat.

“no, louis,” you groaned, doing a half crunch as he began dragging you out to the living roomÂ ïżŒof your apartment, “please, just let me sleep, class doesn't matter that much anyways.”

“i’ve been up for a ten solid minutes due to your stupid alarm, i’m not letting you sleep,” he harshly explained to you causing you to groan again as he walked away towards the kitchen, filling a clear glass he got from one of the grey cabinets full of faucet water.

“louis, please.”

he didn’t answer, knowing you weren't going to move anytime soon nor would you try to wake yourself up. you just needed some motivation to get up and get ready.

the boy walked back over to you, holding the glass over your now calm body, slowly falling back into sleep with your eyes shut and chest falling up and down steadily.

with one more thought, louis dipped the glass down, the water pouring out fast and landing on top of your body. you immediately sat up, another yelp coming from the back of your throat, cold faucet water pouring nonstop until you were entirely soaked from head to waist.

“you fucking prick!” you smacked the back of his clothed leg.

you hoped up to your feet, your body fuming as you tried your best to size up to louis despite him being a bit taller without trying. he looked down at you lazily and slightly unbothered, eyes dull, not worried about what you would do next, because you really couldn't do anything.

“what’s your problem?”

“my problem is that you set your alarm too early for an eight o’clock class,” he mumbled, eyeing you carefully as you glared at him with pure annoyance mixed with the slightest hatred for not only disturbing your sleep but soaking you with freezing cold water.

“i would clock you in the face right now-”

“yeah, right, i bet you would,” you barely got your sentence out before he spoke, nodding in a mocking sense, knowing you wouldn't hit him. you were too fragile to do anything to inflict physical harm on anyone, especially him.

not that you cared about him too much to hit him, but you knew if you tried, you would fail in a very painful way.

“fucking take a shower,” he mumbled, tossing the glass on one of the chairs that filled the living room before giving you one last look with your white tee-shirt sticking to your skin and water droplets swimming down your thighs slowly.

he walked back to his room, slamming the door shut, leaving you in a very pissy mood. you would have ignored his command, matching his actions and just go back to your room but you were already soaked in water, you might as well have gotten it over before he came back out and did any worse.

Hello would like to request literally ANYTHIMG Louis partridge. M tyvm goodnight

Hello Would Like To Request Literally ANYTHIMG Louis Partridge. M Tyvm Goodnight

too late now, part one. louis partridge x reader

summary 📣: in which reader wants to fix amends but louis can’t find himself to forgive her, memories still stuck in his head

warning/s đŸš«: none, just angst

slater’s note 🗯: gladly anon! i love this boy and really need more motivation to write for him. i do also think i will need a part two for this one so look out for that, also this story is inspired by this list of prompts!

image

part one, part two

you weren’t surprised when you heard the sound of his voicemail, his sweet voice saying to leave a message and he’ll get back as soon as he can. it made you sigh, pursing you lips, knowing he probably wouldn’t get back to you, he never did.

the sound of the beep made you inhale, “hey louis, it’s me again...” you paused, wondering if whether it was a good idea to do this, “i know i’m the last person you want to talk to but i really want to see you, really, please, we need to figure things out. i’ll be at roseford tomorrow at noon.”

you quickly hung up your phone, setting the device down on your dinning room table.

it was too late to go back now.

—

nothing could compare to the nervousness you felt right in that moment, sitting in the roseford garden restaurant. even the soft, colorful lively flowers couldn’t calm you.

you bit the nail of your thumb, bouncing your knee up and down, just knowing nothing good could happen, he wasn’t going to put your unnerving thoughts to rest, and that was because:

he wasn’t coming.

you just knew he wasn’t coming, it was half an hour past the time you had told him you’d be at the roseford. maybe he hadn’t even gotten the message, was it possible that you were waiting for nothing?

that probably would be the case since louis barely checked his voicemail box let alone his messages when the two of you were still together.

he spent most his time sleeping than on his phone or with you. he was a tired kid who would rather cuddle in bed then go out for a night of fun or even watch a movie in the comfort of his own home. no, he just wanted the comfort of his bed.

you sighed once more, taking a sip of the iced water that had been refilled more than once in the past thirty minutes. you had began to get weird looks from your waiter after the first three times, him noticing you were literally only sitting there, not even looking through the menu. it was embarrassing.

and you were just about to give up, your body going slack, knowing it was too late for anything to happen now.

but the sight of the boy entering the beautiful building proved you otherwise, his back slouched but he was walking rather quickly, like he had a mission, like he was anxious, and he was, you could tell by the way he clutched the back of his neck when he reached nearer to you that his nerves were up and on edge.

you smiled softly once he sat across from you, a waiter coming by a second later like clockwork asking if he wanted anything to drink. but louis denied him, turning to you, causing you to frown... because he was frowning. an annoyed one with a hint of sadness intertwined with his lips.

“what do you want?”

your mouth opened slightly at the harshness of his voice, “louis- i just wanted to catch-“

“i came because you wanted to figure things out,” he said quickly, eyes not meeting yours but rather switching from the table to the side of your face to the floor, but never your eyes, “i’m here to move on, not play another stupid game of yours.”

“louis no this isn’t-“

“but isn’t it?” he leaned forward on his forearms, silence taking over for a awhile, his eyes now meeting yours. he wasn’t so sure you weren’t messing with his head right in that moment, calling him months later after it all went down, calling to sort things out.

it didn’t sound right to him and he was still healing from the wound you caused him... as were you, and as the word “game” flew from his mouth, it deepened yours.

“i would have done anything for you,” he said suddenly and rather quickly, “anything.”

his words stung as he said them in regret, like he shouldn’t have even trusted you in the first place, like speaking to you now pained him, having regret every memory spent and wasted together.

“louis, you deserved better than me,” you said plainly, making it your turn to divert your eyes from his, grief and immediate guilt filling the core of your stomach.

he ignored you, pursing his lips as his mind began to fill up with memories upon memories that stacked up like files to the roof of his head. he couldn’t push them away, not with being face to face with you.

the face he memorized, dreamed about, fell in love with, a face that he longed for every single night even after the night you ended it all.

and for what?

it was rainy, water pressing and flowing down against louis’ bedroom window when he got your call, a smile on his face as your contact picture popped up, filling his whole phone screen.

he answered the phone after the second ring, with a pep in his voice making you wince, eyes tightening shut at how much harder it would be, having to ruin his cheery mood.

“hi love.”

“hi... lou.”

and he knew right away something was wrong, just by the tone of your voice he knew you were holding something back. it was built up in your chest, straining the sound of your voice.

“what’s wrong, y/n?”

“louis, i’m sorry,” you whispered, remembering it so clearly, so, so, clearly just as he did, “i am so sorry, i will never not be.”

and he looked you with something that resembled a hateful glare, eyes squinted, his lips pressed in a thin line. he stood up, looking away from you and more out into the garden before mumbling;

“sorry doesn’t fix things.”

Pretty Boy. Louis Partridge X Reader

pretty boy. louis partridge x reader

summary 📣: in which reader and louis share their first kiss

warning/s đŸš«: swearing

slater’s note 🗯: i never really wrote a fic in relation to “romance” (or whatever) for louis so here you are

image

louis was so pretty, you could hardly believe he was standing right before you with his stupid brown beautiful eyes that slowly grazed across yours every once and awhile as he spoke and laughed.

you hadn’t seen him in a long time with the killing schedule of boarding school weighing on your back while his growing career made it impossible for you to ever see his pretty face.

his hair was longer and curling at the nape of his neck, eyes underlining with a dark shade of red filled with lack of sleep.

and he was taller, his shoulders slouched with the heavy pressures of the things that filled his soul these days, work, acting, friends, skating, playing the piano. his white tee shirt held up onto his shoulders, covering the chain wrapped around his neck.

you could see it dangle, waving back and forth as he leaned over, hitting against his tanning chest and the fabric of his tee, the shirt cutting it off from dipping any further into the air as he would lean.

he had such a pretty face with his dimples that poked into his cheeks, pinning them up high as he smiled, a laugh usually following the opened mouth smile, his teeth white and tongue poking out in amusement.

it reminded you of when you were a child, when you’d dip your toes into the cold water creek close to your house next to the boy you watched now, only younger but just as careless and silly.

he’d stick his tongue out mindlessly while in full concentration, whether that being trying to cross to the other side of the cold water creek close to your house, the current splashing strongly against his ankles or the simple task of coloring a picture.

you had adored the boy then and even more did so now.

you learned to fall in love with him even more in the past week of your break from boarding school, learning and picking up on more and more of his little things.

such as the way his eyes just barely peaked out from his brow hair when it got messy and fell from being pushed back with gel. his eyes usually seeking out for yours, a soft smile following.

and the way he seemed so much more intense, impulsive, really. having to do everything right in that moment, his movements always quick and meaningful, usually pulling you along up the mountain of activities by the thread of your fingers.

but when he settled down, he really did so. taking deep enjoyment in the calmness of the cool london air from underneath a cafe umbrella, with you usually across from him, ready to poke and tease him for the black shades he wore, even as it wasn’t so bright and harsh of sunlight.

he found just as much pleasure in the quiet and blissful winds just as the chaos and quick moving moments. he learned so much from when he was just fifteen, and even though he was much older, he had grown with events and lessons that took place in his life ever since you had left.

he wanted to tell you so much, to tell you of all the people he had met, to tell you of his old friends that continued to stay in that same position, to tell you of travels, and books, and his family, and how he so so missed you.

you’d watch with complete and utter focus of content, feeling a sweet sensation of being finally home, being home with him.

“i always thought you were the prettiest boy i’ve ever seen,” you whispered up to him once you were close, his head dipped down close to yours as you laid your hand against his warm cheek.

you felt silly for saying it but you had thought you’d never see him again and while being on the last day of your visit from boarding school, you saw your chance.

he took a step closer to you, laying a hand on your own cheek, stroking his thumb against your cheekbones, reaching all the way down to your jaw.

he could fall in love with you just as you did with him and all simply because of your bright eyes that made him melt. your whole entire soul and heart poured out from your irises, eating him away as all he wanted to do was be with you fully and forever.

he wanted to hold you, hug you, kiss you, do anything and everything to make you aware of all the heavy affection he had for you that burdened his mind.

“i adore you, pretty,” he thumbed your cheek before leaning his head close to yours, turning it up to the sky at the slightest to meet your lips better.

his lips were soft and he was gentle, his other hand now meeting the other side of your cheek, making sure your close, making sure he can feel you and every bit of you. and you melt to his touch, your back laying lowly as you begun to feel more calm, leaning into his slim, warm body.

you exhale into the kiss, a feeling of relief overcoming you as if every one of your problems was lifted from your shoulders and away into the foggy london train station air.

“don’t go,” he whines, his lips still just barely connected to yours, a pout beginning to fill his lips, “i only want you to stay, nothing else.”

you have been waiting for those words since you were thirteen. well not exactly those words but something along those lines, something that linked him to wanting you.

you loved him since you were ten, longed for his attention since your teens, even more then he had already given you, and now, at seventeen he held you in his arms, now he loved you just the same as your heart did of him.

“just stay, and i’ll be yours.”

Interview Of The Month. Louis Partridge X Reader

interview of the month. louis partridge x reader

summary 📣: in which reader and louis have a strong passion of hatred for each other- despite the two of them being bestfriends

warning/s đŸš«: swearing, starts out strong but dies half assed

slater’s note 🗯: i’m obsessed with making interview type imagines 😭 also this is TRASH because i gave up halfway in the end

image

how’d the two of you meet?

you glanced to louis as he continued to read the question. you pressed your lips into a thin line, thinking of the first time you had ever encountered the boy right next to you.

“uhm, this dumbass crashed into me at the skate park,” you jerked your thumb to louis who begun to shake his head, “he’s trash at it.”

“you always tell this story wrong,” his head still shook while he tugged at his bottom lip, “see because we met in brooklyn and you spilled your coffee all over me.”

“no because we met in london,” you begun to think it through, wondering whether if either of you actually remembered when you both truly met. “that skate park was in london and i spilt coffee on you a whole entirely different time.”

“we never met in a skate park.”

“yes, we did,” you argued, giving him a pointed look, “i know we did because i still have a scar from your board.”

“no, no, no, you got that scar from a different time, when we were with my sister,” he pushed back against your statement, his head shaking again.

“well that’s a different scar.”

“what are these scars? pull them out then.”

your face twisted up, leaning forward in slight confusion as louis had his hand pointing toward your leg, where he very much knew where there were scars from your true first meeting.

it was then did his face tell you that you were right all along, the two of you did meet at a skate park, he just didn’t like being wrong.

and when he was wrong, he hated admitting so.

your face expanded at the cheeks into a smile that came with an accusing pointer finger, directed towards the boy, “i’m right.”

“what?” he scoffed, a guilty opened mouth smile spreading across his face, “no, you’re not.”

“please, you’re a horrible liar, louis.”

“shut it.”

what’s your favorite activity to do when together?

you rolled your eyes, recovering from the last question before squinting them, trying to get a better look at the screen before the two of you.

“she needs glasses,” louis says suddenly, his eyes crinkling together as he looked to the crew behind the camera, “that’s why i’m a faster reader.”

you rolled your eyes again, shooing his comment off, “i’d say hanging with his sister because i don’t actually like hanging out with louis.”

“no, she actually loves hanging out with me because i can drive her around and she can’t,” he looked over to you, your eyes immediately meeting his as you watched his plan unfold in his pupils just as it came out of his mouth, “she’s failed her last two drivers test.”

he held up his fingers making a two in the air causing you to grab onto his wrist, forcing his hand back down to stop embarrassing you, your cheeks starting to burn. that only made his smile increase, as he looked to you.

he looped his pinky finger with yours just as you were letting go of his hand, now settled out of the camera visual. you looked up at him as he still stared at you with the cockiest smile.

you shook your head, “i only fail because this dipshit thinks it’s funny to call only to patronize and terrorize me each time before i take the test.”

he shakes his head in return, as if he had no idea what you were talking about, like you were lying. it made you want to strangle him as he stared back at you with his taunting stare, a smirk sewn in his features as he knew you wouldn’t say anything else- even as he himself hadn’t said anything.

sometimes you think louis did it on purpose because he liked driving you around.

“i swear to god, i’ll punch you in the jaw.”

what is your favorite quality of one another?

“y/n’s actually really funny and i enjoy being around her,” it flowed out of his mouth so effortlessly like a perfect lie. that’s what it seemed like, a lie.

there was no way louis was going to compliment you without a struggle. he would usually pop out a few jokes before getting down to the basis of an actual answer.

that’s why you stared up at him, completely dumbfounded with a mix of disgust, “shut your trap louis partridge.”

“woah,” he laughed before looking into the camera, “she’s never been good at accepting compliments though.” “louis, shut your mouth, when have you ever complimented me?” “all the time!” “you're a horrible liar!” you scoffed, hitting his arm lightly, “i can see it in your eyes that you know what i know and that’s that you don’t ever compliment people and you absolutely suck at it when you do so.”

“i don't know what you mean,” his voice came out strangled from the laugh that he forced out with it. he knew you were being truthful and it made him awkward, due to not wanting to admit that he sucked with being empathetic.

“whatever, compliment me now,” he shook his head after awhile, “what’s your favorite quality about me, dear?” you bit your lip, turning your head from his as you thought of something nice to say about him, something you liked about him, “hold on let me think.”

“you got no time, miss, hurry this up.” “jesus, give me a moment, lou.”

you tapped your finger against your lip frantically before spitting out the first thing that came to mind, “you have nice... hair?”

“i’ll take that. although i’m quite offended that’s all you could think of.”

“what do you mean, your answer wasn’t even genuine.”

he rolled his eyes, “just accept the compliment and tell me i’m a good boyfriend.”

“a good boyfriend?” you almost gasped as if struck stupid by that word.

“darling, you know i’m a good boyfriend, you just don’t want the world to know it because they’ll be all over me even more than ever.”

what’s your favorite activity to do when together?

“this question again?” louis groaned, tilting his head to the side making you lowly laugh.

“well we never really answered it.”

“that is not my fault.”

“it’s not mine.” “shut it, we like to watch movies together i suppose.”

you narrowed your brows at his answer, crooking your head towards his direction, “louis, we’ve watched a movie once together and it ended with you whining because you were bored.”

“well, they didn’t say anything about lying,” he shrugged, “and i did quite enjoy my time with you then.”

could you see each other living together in near future?

“no, i’d cut his head off within the first hour.”

“surprised i’d even last that long.”

oh dear peter. louis partridge x reader

summary 📣: in which reader is a mermaid and louis is a foolish boy called “peter pan”

warning/s đŸš«: swearing, my lack of mermaid knowledge, a short-short little story with no romance

slater’s note 🗯: i’ve been listening to pirate/mermaid inspired playlists on youtube and i wanted to make a peter pan story so here you go

image

“you never visit me anymore, peter.”

you gazed up at the young boy who was laid down against the tall rocks from above, his bare back pressed against burning stones while his arms were shoved behind his head.

“a boy has so much to do on this island, y/n,” he didn’t look down to you, “i got things to do and only have so much time for play.”

you rolled your eyes, dramatically flopping down against the rock you were propped up on.

all he did was play and tease the foolish pirate that was floated out all the way on the other side of the island. never work, and even if there was any, he would make his little lost boys do it for him.

“peter,” you whined, rolling onto your side, “you used to have all the time in the world for me... now all you do is fool with that silly pirate with a hook for hand.”

he stayed silent and you almost wondered if he heard you. you assumed he was only ignoring you. peter could never really ever deal with confrontation and either decided to ignore it or tell a silly story.

“i went to neverpeak mountain with a quart of pixie dust the other day and you’ll never guess what i saw here near the lagoon,” he was going with the silly story, a smile running up on his face as his back arched a little, “millions of neverbirds swooping around and picking down on something and you’ll never guess what it was.”

“what, peter pan?” you hummed, your lips pressed into a thin line as you begun to slowly play into his amusement.

“it was a pirate!” he called in a loudness as if rejoicing, his arms swooping up in the air, “they were eating him away, can you believe it, y/n? i wonder how he got all the way out here...”

he voice drew out slowly and lowly as he begun to wonder again like the first time he spotted the bloody and highly unusual boned man that was flat against a rock.

peter could still remember the loud but light and distant screams the resonated throughout the cove. it made him curious as he squinted before flying towards the messy scene.

“i remember that,” you mumbled, “nixie was the one who lured the man out.”

“she’s crazy for it,” he shook his head, tsking before he sat up properly, “but all you fish do silly things when you get lonely.”

you swung yourself up quickly, scowling up at him but he paid no attention to you, a plain smile on his face as he watched the sun begin to set.

“i’ve got to go little fin,” he stood crossing his arms before looking down to you, “i’ll see you when the sun reaches east and the cove begins to sink... maybe i’ll bring a lost boy or two.”

he nodded in fulfillment before flying off into the purple sky. you watched before shaking your head, you knew he was lying, you knew it, he knew it. he wouldn’t be back for at least a couple of months, or however long that was in neverland time, but he wouldn’t be back for awhile.

and when he did, it wouldn’t be for long, but he’d be there and maybe that time he’d kiss you like the first time you met his pretty boyish face.

“goddamn fairy boy.”

warnings. swearing, sexual themes, underage smoking and drinking, catholic religion based (but i’m not catholic so it’s not going to be accurate and i’m sorry if i offend anyone who is)

put a pin in this. this used to be an old wattpad book of mine (which was in real bad writing because i didn’t like to edit at all and still don’t but-) and i wanted to post it here... with a few minor changes

“i’m not going to give you fifty bucks even if there was something in it for me.”

“c’mon, it’s for weed,” josh practically stumbled after sabrina as she made her way down to her last class of the day. she rolled her eyes as he got closer and closer with needy hands that would never be satisfied unless he had an unlimited supply of blunts in his hand, which would never happen... because josh was broke.

“josh, you’ve sucked me dry of basically all my tuition money, i don’t have 50 bucks for weed,” sabrina loosened her grip slightly from the books she held in her right hand. she didn’t have time for josh nor his stoner problems that blossomed in the eighth grade, “ask finn.”

“that’s who i’m buying my weed from.”

“just give him the money, sab,” louis eyebrow lightly quirked as he blew smoke from his mouth, not really wanting to hear anymore of the bickering that would so easily fly from josh’s mouth.

“shut up, louis,” sabrina rolled her eyes despite listening to his words, stopping, and leaning against the wall as she begun to dig in her front skirt pocket, “you’re paying him next time.”

she handed off the money to josh with his grabby hands while giving louis a pointed look who wasn’t even looking, sucking at the tip of his cigarette with nothing to fill his eyes with entertainment. just blank and filled with dead, dead feelings.

“louis,” she snapped her fingers full heartily while josh scampered off like a dumb dog with a rewarded bone in his mouth, “louis.”

“what?”

“you’re paying him next time, got it?”

“yeah, yeah, whatever,” he waved her off, turning away slightly while she took off into her class.

he pursed his lips, looking around before throwing his cigarette on the polished, green pristine floor. nothing filled his head but noise. noise of teenaged snotty girls and boys full of high self esteem and their toxic talks. he soaked it all up, feeding on it like a sickness as he looked at his nice shoes for a moment.

he felt sick in the head before patting his pockets in desire. desire of something to make him go blind for a couple of hours. blind from the real world painful sights of boring old school and boring old generalization of life.

°‱

“chicago, you got five seconds before paulson kicks your ass.”

you squinted up at the sudden sunlight that swelled in your vision... and then your eyes met odessa’s bright blue eyes, filled with concern as she reached out for you.

you met her half way, your practically limp arm falling into her stable one, hauling you to your feet before slinging it around your back, making sure you were steady.

“how much you on right now?” odessa guided you down the hallways, glancing at you every once and awhile as your head tipped back like it had no stability or awareness of what was happening or what it’s job was.

you didn’t answer her. you were barely even conscious let alone had the ability to process what your friend was asking you or where she was guiding you to. all you could think about was how colorful the walls were and how everything was swelling like a purple bruise.

it made you want to throw up.

“you’re gonna kill yourself with how much you’ve been taking recently.”

you groaned in response, rolling your head as sweat begun to dip down your forehead and the back of your neck, your hair beginning to fall from it’s volume. you looked horrible, worse than usual with how much your recent addiction was taking a heavier toll on your mind and body.

it gave you the shakes during class when you weren’t on anything, and you sweat like a dog making it looked like you took a shower minutes before. you felt like you could barely breath half the time and you could barely sleep without taking at least three doxepine.

everything was hell unless you were high, but unfortunately it was killing you and it seemed that everyone could tell.

kiss or hit.

louis partridge x fem!reader

summary 📰: in which no one can piss reader off quite like louis

warning/s 📬: swearing

slater’s note 📼: i’m just a sucker for bestfriends to lovers for when i write about louis đŸ‘©â€â€ïžâ€đŸ’‹â€đŸ‘š idk why you would never really
(edit: did i just not finish this sentence ?)

image

louis was so much more of a fool in real life than on the television screen.

years has passed and time had filled the empty spots of never seeing each other for years upon years and you had always guessed the silly young boy you had deemed your best friend (well what was as close to a best friend as it would get) would always stay that way.

but you almost second guessed yourself watching his features soften into a relaxation you rarely ever saw them in from on screen with a girl close to his age. he showed so much passion and love for a girl he must’ve barely knew more than he had ever shown towards you.

but you were surely mistaken, and you knew it the moment his lanky yet muscular self hoped off the london train, hauling himself to you before practically body slamming you onto the cold london train station pavement in an attempt to give you a loving hug long over due.

you were jealous of her, the girl on the television set, but you would never admit it. over your dead body, cross your bloody heart.

louis’ head was already big enough, boasting about everything with a high chested pride, making you want to smack him back down to earth. and you would, you really would, because louis never looked at you with as soft expressions as he did with that girl, but rather... hard and teasing.

“you ever heard of the cosmo effect?”

“no, i haven’t.”

“nor have i. i figure we can figure out what it is this summer,” you narrowed your brows as you practically trailed behind louis.

he was moving rather fast with a stupid map in his hands, trying to navigate the outer ridges of london, a part of the city the two of you had never been before. he insisted it’d be fun and much more convenient with a map at hand rather than just going by the smart devices in your hand, it added to the fun.

“louis, we’ve been walking for hours,” you scowled, quickening your pace as he turned a corner, “we’re never gonna find this stupid underground cafe you want to eat at.”

“oh we’ll find it,” it seemed he mumbled it more to himself rather than an answer to you. his teeth gnawed on his bottom lip as he examined the map more carefully than he had been in the past thirty minutes.

if he was being honest with you, he would’ve admitted that he was mostly going off of memory rather than the map. he didn’t really care for the helpful piece of paper in hand, it was more or less for show rather than for tool.

“louis, i’m hungry.”

“i know you are.”

you rolled your eyes. pretty boy didn’t have a clue what you were. you were so close to ditching him in the middle of god knows where for a bus home. you had a low tolerance for louis and his games, always had, and probably always will.

he knew that.

he liked egging you on.

“for god sakes, lou, i’m going to call your sister and have her-“

“you always have your panties in a twist, i swear y/n,” he waves his hand back and forth, dissing you before reaching back and snatching your hand greedily, “my sister wouldn’t even pick you up if you called.”

“shut up, she loves me more than you.”

“i mean i would too.”

“what?”

“hm?” he continued to look at his stupid map, once again dismissing you and letting your hand go to hold the other side of the piece of paper.

for god sake, you were so close to straggling him-

“louis.”

“what?”

you pursed your lips before shaking your head dismissing it, “nothing.”

“let’s get going then,” he nodded, then again reaching for your hand to which you took voluntarily yet reluctantly with a sigh, “don’t be so down, just a couple more steps ahead.”

you kept your complaints shoved down your throat as he continued to drag you down the paved road. your feet hurt, your back hurt, and your stomach was beginning to eat itself. but you kept it in for the sake of the teeny tiny part of louis that was excited to eat lunch with you.

the teeny tiny part that he never showed and always denied of existing. he rather would be known as an asshole rather than the sweetheart you always accused him of.

“face it, lou, you’re just a big sweetheart with a big heart.”

“shut up.”

“always doing the sweet little things, so cute.” “shut the fuck up.”

“there it is,” louis stopped in front of a run down looking building, a sign faded and barely hanging on; swinging back and forth with the light wind that soaked the air.

“louis, this underground cafe you talk of is nonexistent.”

he stayed silent, his lips pursed into a thin line as he stared up at the abandon looking building. it was definitely not what he expected to say the least and it was slightly disappointing.

“now, y/n/n,” he was flinching even before you leaned closer to him to smack him on the back of his head, “i didn’t know-“

“louis, you fuck!” you let go of his hand after staring up in disbelief of the non-existent cafe you were so excited about, hitting his arm multiple times, “we walked forever just for this stupid ass building that isn’t even real!”

“settle down! settle down!” he ducked away from your blows that were beginning to sting, “knock it off, love! how was i supposed to know?”

“i thought you’ve been here before!”

you kept hitting him before he caught both your hands, his eyes wide full of such an intensity that begun to slightly scare you for some strange reason, “knock it off.”

“suck my dick, asshole. i’m hungry,” you retorted back, slightly glaring at him as he still held your wrist tightly.

“so am i.”

“well i’m not the one who made us walk around for hours just for something that hasn’t even touched planet earth!”

you were yelling at him but he seemed calm, pissing you even more off. you thrashed at him, trying to rip your hands from his oddly strong grip, your hanger getting the better of you as you continued to swear at him, calling him rude names that didn’t even effect him until finally, done with your bullshit, he pressed his lips against yours.

greedy yet gentle, you were shocked, slightly leaning away despite him falling towards you, his lips swelling and pressing against yours until you finally pressed back, earning a satisfaction filled smirk from him. his hands finally releasing your wrist, now holding you with a light, loving grip.

you hated him, you hated it, but you fell so easily into his bullshit filled kiss just to get you to shut up. so easy because truly, you loved it. he never looked at you soft, never would, never will, but rather he’d look at you with a silly admiration, no matter how hard you hit him.

you both slowly fell from one another’s lips, his eyes fluttering open, still smirking at you as you rolled your eyes, shoving him away from the little embarrassment that ate away at you, turning your cheeks red, “screw you.”

“you mad at me?” he grinned, not so concerned with whether or not you were, but only wanting to kiss you again, his lips going cold as he slowly rubbed them together, swaying back closer to you.

“yeah, asshole,” you glared at him despite also wanting to kiss him once more.

“let me kiss you then.”

you rolled your eyes, then looking to the side before back up to louis who was closer, his arms reaching and holding yours, pulling you closer and closer unit your chest was pressed tightly against his. and finally, falling to his warm hold, you kissed him again, this time softly.

romeo and juliet, part one. hockey!louis partridge x reader

summary 🧿: in which reader hates louis until he seems to be the only person she can talk to

warning/s đŸ‘©â€â€ïžâ€đŸ’‹â€đŸ‘š: swearing, underage drinking, violence, longer than my usual fics, my lack of hockey knowledge, SLOPPILY WRITTEN

slater’s note đŸ«: this is so generic but idgaf.. also i started this so long ago and was planning on giving it up but it’s like i’m just avoiding finishing my wiped out! event 😭

image

“o romeo, romeo! wherefore art thou romeo? deny thy father and refuse thy name; or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I'll no longer be a capulet.”

“shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?”

“'tis but thy name that is my enemy; thou art thyself, though not a montague. what's montague? it is nor hand, nor foot, nor arm, nor face, nor any other part belonging to a man. o, be some other name! what's in a name? that which we call a rose by any other name- alright i’m done i can’t keep reading this shit.”

“y/n!”

“just read the goddamn lines.”

“no, this is stupid.”

“then why the fuck did you tryout?”

“so i could kiss you, romeo.”

he scowled at you as did you right back. his eyes crinkled in the corners as he glared lightly back down his book, pinching the bridge of his nose as he tried to focus.

“alright, let’s try this again,” the drama teacher looked in between the two of you cautiously, not knowing what to say but to have the two of you to continue, “from where we.. left off.”

you rolled your eyes before sighing looking to louis with raised eyebrows. he returned the look, his lips then pressed into a thin line before looking back down to his old crinkled script of romeo and juliet.

“that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet; so romeo would, were he not romeo call'd, retain that dear perfection which he owes without that title. romeo, doff thy name, and for that name which is no part of thee take all myself,” you say it blandly, keeping eye contact with the boy before you, pretty boy romeo.

“I take thee at thy word: call me but love, and I'll be new baptized; henceforth I never will be romeo,” he returned the tone, almost giving you a sly look that made you glare at him in the annoyance you only felt for him.

louis partridge, someone you weren’t well familiar with until you realized you got the lead right next to him. the two of you destined to play lovers as your drama teacher would say, pulling the two of you close to one another on the first day of rehearsal.

the whole thing was supposed to be a joke, trying out for juliet. but it became far from a joke the moment the costume crew started measuring your waistline and head size. you assumed it was a joke to louis too from the way he always showed up late to rehearsals and was always fucking around with his friends when they came in at random times, which was always and upmost everyday.

he pissed you off, but those reasons weren’t why. hell you’d being doing the exact same thing if your friends were so bold and... assholes.

but it was rather the fact that he was a dickhead. he ticked you off. and nobody could tick you off like louis.

°‱

“i got like five bucks,” your hands were stuffed in your back pocket, trying to find your money in attempt to pay your friend for a supposed keg she was trying to buy.

“c’mon, i need more than that,” your friend, emma, whined, her lip popping out as you hand her the five. you shrugged, not knowing what to tell her as your hand went to rummage through your backpack.

“how much is a keg anyways?”

“a hundred bucks.”

your eyes slightly widened, “jesus christ,” you shook your head before pulling out a crumpled ten, handing it to her. “you know i don’t drink
”

“yeah, yeah, whatever, y/n/n, but other people do,” she pulled out a pouch, stuffing your money within.

“am i invited?” an arm slung around you, pulling you in close to the side of their warm body.

you clenched your jaw rather hard, not having to look at the persons face to know it was louis holding you tightly with that generic smirk he always had on.

“of course you are, louis,” emma smiled up to him, admiring his face like she always did, something that annoyed you. she never saw the flawed features you saw, the toxicity and self centeredness of him and all his friends. they were like clones, and emma, like all your friends, ate it up.

“good,” his grin expanded, before randomly handing her a twenty. “i heard your party fund is low.”

he still held onto you tightly no matter how hard you wiggled against him, shrugging and pulling, his grip only seemed to tightened as he continued to speak about the party with emma. she was too infatuated in him to be able to tell you were struggling and annoyed.

“i’ll be late, but save a drink for me,” he winked at her before letting go of you. you scowled, leaning against the locker before he finally looked to you with a snide expression. “i’ll see you tonight, juliet.”

“yeah, yeah,” you diverted your eyes to the side in annoyance with crossed arms. boy you really wanted to sock him in the face with how he got away with that; being him, being an asshole with supposed ‘innocent’ intentions. “cant wait.”

“you’re lucky you get to kiss him,” emma shook her head, turning to her locker before shoving in her binder with the rest of her school supplies. “half the girls at school would pay to be in your position.”

“half the girls who don’t have brains,” you dumbfounded, twisting your head to the side to look at her. “he’s an asshole.”

“he’s not that bad.”

you pushed off the lockers before waving her off, deciding not to waste your energy, “whatever, i’ll see you at lunch.”

°‱

dress rehearsal ended faster than expected due to louis showing up half way through. that sent your drama teacher off on a rant about how if he didn’t take practice seriously and kept showing up late, he’d be dropped from production.

you couldn’t help but smile the whole time, knowing it’s what he deserved. but through the whole scene, he had only glared at you with no felt embarrassment.

you couldn’t get out of that hot room faster but louis stopped you from getting you in your car with the grab of your wrist, not even calling your name. it startled you but you stopped with an eye roll realizing it was him.

“relax,” his face scrunched up, lost as to your annoyance. “i need a favor from you.”

“what?”

“i need you to cover for me,” he squinted at you as if trying to read you better even as it wasn’t hard to tell you were annoyed and full of urgency with the need to get home and away from him, despite his soft cologne coaxing you otherwise. “i’m not gonna be here for practice in the next couple of days.”

“why would i do that?”

“because i’m asking nicely,” he grumbled, now leaning against the car next to yours, “and no one else probably will.”

“maybe if you try begging, someone will.”

“c’mon, you know that whole dweeb squad hates me.”

“what makes me different?”

“because you’re my juliet,” he lightly pinched your cheek before pressing his hand against your car door in support of him leaning, practically closing in on you. it made you hold your breath, studying him and wondering what his intentions were. “and i’ll owe you one.”

louis owing you wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. he knew people, could get things so easily and without a sweat. he was charming and manipulative, and if he owed you one that’d mean he couldn’t be a dick to you.

your tongue poked into the inside of your cheek as you thought about it before you inhaled, diverting your eyes as if ashamed to mumbling, “yeah, fine.”

“good,” he squeezed your shoulder before leaning away from you, sending you back to your own free will.

°‱

there really was no need for emma to beg around for cash since word of her party got out fast and spread to emory university, a small college that was openly more than accepting to the invitation, bring gifts, or in other words; kegs.

your cheeks heated with joy fast and with a little liquid courage you were out on the dance floor with many different bodies, including college boys who were more than happy to get it on. your body on theirs, dancing the night away till you got dizzy and decided throwing back some more drinks would clear your line of sight and thought.

your whole ‘i don’t drink’ claim and rule had been thrown out the window the moment a cute boy offered you a red plastic solo cup and encouraged your underage drinking.

you had swallowed four shots before you felt sick to your stomach, now ready to go home with the way your vision hadn’t cleared at all and became rather clouded and the feelings of sleep consumed your head.

you almost made it out the front door completely disoriented if it weren’t the thick oak opening up revealing another disoriented person, a smirk etching up on their face the moment they saw you.

“juliet,” he yelled over the music, taking steps closer to you. his voice was still low and smooth despite him increasing his volume, and you felt stuck to the floor like his honey voice had oozed over you. “didn’t think i’d see your face here.”

you couldn’t speak nor process till that damn nickname settled into your brain. it made you press your lips into a thin line before you shook your head, “don’t call me that, louis.”

he smiled with a sneer, knowing expression, “why not?”

“you know my name,” you gave him a pointed look, “call me by my name, dillhole.”

he chuckled, patting your arm. he took a step, subsiding you while no longer finding any entertainment in the conversation, “okay, sweetheart.”

°‱

you didn’t leave.

somehow the short conversation you had shared with louis sobered you up rather fast with how much hate you held for him.

with another five shots thrown back in the hatch, causing your throat to burn even more and your energy to spike. you took a seat on one of the many couches pushed back to make room for a dance space, no longer feeling excitement or rushes of the good kind of energy you had experienced over an hour ago. you were rather now angered as you watched louis feel up on some girl.

she ate it up as his finger hooked around the belt loop of her skinny jeans, pulling her closer to him. her back arching, causing her butt to further itself and push against his crotch. it made you grumble.

it made you upset that he could have all the fun and you were just stuck on that couch with the mood ruined.

you weren’t going to admit it but you were jealous.

but it didn’t make sense. your sober self naturally hated him and his cocky attitude. he didn’t care. he was selfish and only seemed to go to school to cause trouble and get people all rowdy and anxious with the way he got so close and taunting.

but your intoxicated self missed that kind of company.

“you’ve got a staring problem.”

you almost jumped from your spot as louis sunk into the spot next to you, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek as he eyed you slightly.

you couldn’t meet the concentration he had nor the focus as you tried your best not to crack under the pressure of his stare or all the other things that filled your mind as you avoid his hard brown eyes.

like the way his leg was pressed closed against yours and how his body practically ate away at your own as he seemed to be scooting closer to you, as if overwhelming you with his strong scent of cologne and the smell of tequila was his way of cracking you open like an egg.

“are you jealous, juliet?”

“don’t flatter yourself, romeo.”

he stayed silent, but still stared at you before extending his arm out along the back of the couch and over your head. and although he wasn’t touching you anymore than before, it made him feel closer than ever and maybe that was another way for him to taunt you.

“i thought you would have been more fun drunk,” he mumbled, leaning in close to your ear. you felt your stomach swallow itself as he did so, your heart picking up speed. you couldn’t help but inhale sharply. “but i guess i was wrong.”

you let his words settle before you flipped off of the couch. the feeling of his hot breath and words made your skin itch and you couldn’t deal with the way it made your stomach do summersaults.

louis watched you walk away fast, a smirk carving his lips as he extended his other arm along the top of his couch, now getting comfortable.

he couldn’t help but shake his head before calling out to you, “you can’t just walk away from everything that makes you uncomfortable, sweetheart.”

you didn’t see much of louis after that and mostly due to you avoiding him more than usual. and thankfully he hadn’t showed up to rehearsal just as he said the night he asked you to cover for him, and even as much as you resented him, you still made up an excuse curated just for him.

with how much you despised louis, you still felt your drunken jealously. the type that would do anything to make another girl jealous just so it wasn’t you. the type that you thrived not to be.

you remember the first time you met him and immediately he made an impression on everyone. being the new kid midway freshman year, the attention was already on him, but the fact he was attractive only had his name spread around the school faster. his ego was boosted quicker than you could even imagine.

you hated him. he got everything he wanted. and you hated how he made your head spin and your stomach swell.

you sat at dinner with your parents as they discussed of emma and the party she had thrown. she got caught by her parents sleeping on the couch along with a couple of other kids passed out all around with the house completely trashed and smelling of a strip club the day after.

it has become your parents new frequent topic of discussion ever since they got a call about it letting them know you may have been there, but luckily emma wasn’t a snitch and your parents were pretty gullible people to the point you only had to deny their ask once and they dropped it.

you rolled your fork around the mashed potatoes plopped on your plate before you heard the doorbell ring making you perk up fast and onto your feet, already tired of hearing your parents opinions on teen drinking.

you lightly padded to your front door, letting out a sigh before opening the front door to reveal louis with reddened cheeks and watery looking eyes. he looked disordered with the inability to stay still as he held a beer bottle.

“louis?” you frowned, eyeing him carefully, slightly caught off guard.

“hey, juliet,” louis set down his bottle down on your doorstep, a sloppy grin revealing on his face as he bent back up, “ready for me to pay you back?”

you took a step back, still holding your door tightly as you tried to figure him out a little better, “i’m eating dinner, right now, louis. i kind of can’t,” you were hesitant, now bouncing on your own feet.

“ditch them,” he leaned in close to you, smiling.

“louis-“

“c’mon, y/n, have some fun for once.”

you glanced back to where your parents sat, obviously not concerned as to who was at the door. you inhaled sharply before looking back to him, slightly opening your mouth before nodding.

he smiled genuinely, slapping your door frame before pulling on your bicep. you glanced back one final time before walking rather fast out the door, allowing louis to close your front door for you before jogging to his car along your side.

°‱

you felt stupid as you seemed to have dropped all of your hate for him the moment he offered you corona beer bottle, a smile on his face as he had glanced at you many times throughout this trip, watching you loosen more and more up as time passed and your intoxication increased.

“you’re not going to murder me are you, partridge?”

he chuckled a little, shaking his head, “you’re too pretty to kill.”

your cheeks grew hot but he had nothing more to say nor did he look at you.

it was ten minutes till he was parked up on top of the skyline drive, close to the edge of the drop. the sky swelled in different colors of pink and yellows making your mind bloom in content as you tipped your head slightly back, soaking it all up.

“this isn’t so bad,” you whispered, tilting your head and making louis laugh lowly.

“you want to get out of the car or stay in here, juliet?”

you shook your head, mumbling, “don’t call me that.”

he didn’t say anything in return. he only opened his door, suppressing the smile on his face. you watched him round the car before opening your own car door to your surprise, but you stepped out allowing the warm sun setting air swallowing you whole.

“i never knew you could be so nice,” you mumbled as you watched him offer you a hand before you took it, allowing him to boost you up onto the hood of his car.

“i usually keep quite good company,” he spoke back, following you, “you just have a stick shoved so far up your ass, you fail to realize it.”

you scoffed, almost rolling your eyes, “i think you fail to realize you’re an actual asshole.”

the two of you were now both leaned against his car with your backs pressed against his front windshield. he was closer than an arm length away but you didn’t feel bothered nor heated up like the night of the party. you felt comfort in how close he was. it was strange.

“you really think that, don’t you?” he quirked a brow, turning his gaze to the side of your face till you faced him, challenging him with a look of your own, as if asking if he was serious.

“louis,” you scoffed, “please explain to me how you’re not.”

he looked surprised, like your attack was completely unnecessary, “when have i ever been an asshole to you?”

“it’s not the matter of when, louis, you just are one,” you blinked, shaking your head, “you don’t care about anyone but yourself and you’re the generic teenage boy who acts like he’s the shit and the world only revolves around him.”

louis diverted his eyes as if he was thinking about your words before completely processing them.

he then slid off the hood of his car slowly, taking you aback as you watched him, “you’re done?”

“why wouldn’t i?” he reached for your hand, motioning for you to get off the car.

you dodge his hand, hopping off the car yourself, with an almost astounded look on your face, “you cannot be mad.”

you walked after him as it seemed he wasn’t getting back in his car.

“why wouldn’t i, y/n?”

“because you asked.”

he flipped around fast causing you to lean backwards in anticipation, “i asked you when have i ever been an asshole to you, not a general observation that anyone could come up with.”

you almost flinched with how loud his voice got, but you forced yourself in place, forcing yourself not to move, to pay attention to the intensity of his aroma.

“louis, you cannot be mad-“

“i can’t be mad,” he spat, with his eyebrows raised, “let’s try you then, huh?”

you kept your mouth shut, allowing the silence and light breeze to immerse around you, waiting for him to continue on and he almost did as he took a step forward.. till a voice spoke for him.

“i hope i’m not interrupting anything..”

you almost jumped, finding whoever spoke unfamiliar as you slightly turned your head away from louis and toward a group of three boys who seemed entertained by the outing playing out before them.

louis leaned away from you, slowly stuffing his hands in his black sweatpants pockets upon analyzation of the group. his mood seemed to change fast as he tipped his head back, looking behind him before back to the three boys, obviously now even more annoyed with the way he pursed his lips.

you looked between them, consciously taking a step back, a growing nerve of pain forming in your stomach that was telling you to walk away. that something wasn’t right.

“jack,” louis nodded to acknowledgment.

“partridge,” the boy, you presumed was ‘jack’ took a step forward, the two other boys following along as they all had smirks pressed against their lips. “haven’t seen you in awhile.”

louis took a step forward and in front of you, almost as if wanting to shield you from their sight but to your disadvantage, they had already saw you.

after louis didn’t say anything and only seemed to stare with his chest held high and jaw clenched, jack tipped his head as if trying to see you better from louis’ cover, “who’s your friend?”

louis glanced back to you, hesitant as he opened his mouth before looking back to them. he felt his chest tighten, “this is y/n.”

“thought you didn’t do girlfriends.”

“i don’t.”

his words for some reason hurt to hear as you looked up to him from your position behind him. he could feel your stare at the side of his face but ignored it, maintaining eye contact with jack, “well it was nice to catch up, but we were just leaving,” louis turned slightly, taking ahold of your bicep before jack stopped the two of you.

“i’m not here to catch up,” his voice seemed to have went an octave lower, catching louis by his own arm before he could fully walk away. your mouth slightly opened as if to gasp by how fast his demeanor changed. “you have something i want.”

“i don’t think so,” louis shook his head, his lips twitching in an almost mock smile before continuing to walk while pulling you away and back to his car.

you were closer than ever as he had you pulled tightly into his side, still gripping your bicep as he led you back to his car. and you almost reached the nice black cadillac if it weren’t for two of the boys jerking the both of you back roughly.

you ended up on the cement side walk with your back arching up at the sudden harsh impact. you rolled to your side, groaning as your eyesight blurred for a moment before settling on louis who was still on his feet but being gripped at the collar by jack.

louis’ features looked unimpressionable as he blanked stared at jack almost as if they were having a stand down. and it seemed louis was winning with how impatient jack was getting.

“i don’t want to hurt you partridge,” the boy frowned, still gripping the collar of his navy blue sweatshirt. “that won’t do either of us any good, you know that.”

by how flat his tone was, it made you think otherwise. that he wanted to hurt louis. it looked as if he was holding himself back by how white his knuckles turned from gripping the thick fabric.

“what you want,” louis mumbled, “i won’t give you.”

jack’s lips pressed into a thin line, leaning back and away while letting go of louis before he drew back his fist, hitting louis square in the jaw.

“hey, what the fuck,” you got up fast from the ground, quickly making an attempt to push them away from louis but you were only struck across the face hard enough to make you see stars.

“what the fuck,” louis recovered quickly, shoving the boy who had hit you away. “don’t fucking touch her.” louis punched him making you flinch at the loud contact noise.

louis was pulled away from doing anymore damage and almost thrown to the ground if it weren’t for the boy who louis pucnhed, catching him, practically restraining him as he lopped his arms within his.

jack begun to throw punches at louis and before you could make an attempt to get back up and help him, the other boy grabbed onto you, holding you back from trying anything. all you could do was yell and cry out for jack to stop.

and it wasn’t long till blood resonated but louis continued to take it like a champ as he only made small low sounds that connected to his pain.

“stop! what’re you doing? stop it!”

but you were ignored as you continued to struggle against the strong blonde who held you tightly to his chest. but you could feel his hold become looser and looser as seconds past and the reality of the situation became clear as louis’ figure slouched and blood began to form at the corner of his lips.

“jack, stop. that’s enough,” the blonde’s calls joined yours only louder and less struggled as yours. “you’re going to kill him man, this isn’t worth it.”

the boy who held louis looked to the two of you, taking in the desperation that floated in your eyes before connecting eyes with his blonde friend. it was as if they made a silent agreement as he let go of louis, allowing the boys posture to droop and almost lay to the ground, but louis was persistent as he flung himself back up after catching his breath, sending his fist towards jack’s face, catching all of you off gaurd.

he didn’t stop until you were thrown back to the ground and the blonde pulled jack away from the situation, feeling a sudden rush and feeling that they could in a lot of trouble.

they all took off running besides jack who wiped his mouth before pointing harshly to louis, “this is on you.”

°‱

you supposed the situation could have been worse and you could have been spitting out blood like louis but you were only graced with a light bruise against your jaw and a not so light bruise on your hip bone.

you couldn’t get the cold cement pressing roughly against your body out of your head nor how silent louis was no matter how much you begged him to speak and at least tell you whether or not he was okay.

you couldn’t fall asleep that night and when you had gotten home, no one was waiting up for you. it had left you even more sick to your stomach as you didn’t even have your parents there to beg you of questions, questions you probably would have ignored, but it would have been nice just because it meant they cared.

the next day you didn’t see louis, nor the next day, or the next day, or the next. the whole week was knocked out and there was no sign of him, just like usual but this time you had actually went looking around.

you begun to run out of excuses for rehearsal.

but a week later, to your shock, louis’ tall figure had appeared out of no where, talking amongst his friends as he was leaned up against the lockers, a smirk on his face as his arms were crossed.

you felt stuck in place as you watched him down the hall, gripping the straps of your backpack tightly, wondering how he seemed so calm and put back into place after all that happened to him. bruises still littered his face and his top lip was still split but he still had that stupid boasting look on his face that made you hate him so much in the first place.

you inhaled sharply before walking up to him, almost regretting doing so as you had no plan on what to say to him once you reached him, but luckily, you could always count on louis to pursue.

“juliet,” he smirked widely at you, making you want to punch him in the face. “you still keeping excuses for me in rehearsal?”

they all smiled in snide ways as they stared at you and it made your cheeks glow red and chest tighten. it made you think back to when he was angered to when you called him an asshole, but this proved he was with how taunting his stare was and how it seemed he practically ignored the fact that you watched him get the shit beaten out of him over two weeks ago.

“louis,” you inhaled lightly, feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. “can i talk to you?”

“go ahead, juliet,” he tipped his head slightly before dragging his eyes along you up and down.

you resisted the urge to lose your nerve at the nickname by biting your tongue, “in private?”

he chuckled a little before looking between his friends.. who also laughed a little, “she wants you, partridge.”

“but what girl doesn’t?”

your chest hurt as they laughed together, “louis, please.”

he stopped his laughing even as his friends continued to chuckle. he felt his own chest twist in ache as your slight beg reminded him of the night blood filled his mouth and his body turned weak with your yells of desperation filling his ears. his face softened as he really looked at you, frowning deeply before taking a step forward, completely dropping his amusement as he flipped your body around with his bruised and cut knuckles, pushing you towards privacy.

his hand was hesitant as it ghosted over your lower back, practically guiding you to the silent corner of the hall.

“what is it?”

“what happened?” your voice was stern as you stared at him with harshness and a hint of worry, something you couldn’t suppress.

“what do you mean?”

you scoffed, “what do i mean? louis, you get the shit punched out of you, don’t say anything about it on the car ride home, then you’re gone for over two weeks, and then just show up. i want to know why.”

“why what, sweetheart?” he frowned, quirking a brow, not giving it up so easy, whatever it was. “shit happens.”

you licked the inside of your cheek, staring at him in disappointment, “shit happens,” you whispered, nodding slightly before turning, not wanting to push it or rather not wanting to receive his dull tone no longer.

“y/n,” he grabbed your bicep quickly, turning you back to face him. his face was much closer than before, his eyebrows slightly lifted, “i’m sorry. you shouldn’t have seen that. they shouldn’t have even touched you,” his eyes slightly twitched to the side of your jaw where your healing bruise was.

he inhaled sharply and couldn’t help but lay his middle and index finger along the pinkish red and yellow mark. you inhaled sharply at how gentle his touch was, your eyes meeting his as he pulled away, straightening his posture while no longer holding any contact with you.

“i thought it’d be worse,” he mumbled, his eyes reaching the floor before looking back into your curious eyes.

“well,” you slightly huffed, “you should see my hip.” he glanced down to the lining of your shirt before meeting your eyes, “how bad are yours?”

he seemed hesitant before reaching for the hem of his white shirt, slightly bringing it up to reveal a large bruise running along his rib cage with the matching colors to your jaw. it made your eyes slight widen as you almost gasped, surprised as you didn’t think they had hit him that much below the neck.

“louis,” you exhaled, covering your mouth as you couldn’t take your eyes off the injury.

“they jumped me after practice,” he laughed a little, but you found no amusement.

“louis, that is not okay.”

“don’t worry about me, juliet.”

“they’re going to kill you,” your voice increased in volume as you took a step closer, “and for what?”

“y/n,” he gave you a pointed look, “it’s not that easy.”

“really?” you were baffled, “because it seems to me like it is. what do you even owe him, louis?”

he seems hesitant as he looks to the side before back at you, “we’re on the same hockey team and i got deemed team captain about two months ago and scouts always look at the team captain, doubling your chances of getting recruited for a college team,” he explained making you frown as you found the lack of connection. “jack wants to be captain because he knows without it, he won’t be recruited.”

you licked the inside of your cheek as you stared at him, “then why don’t you give it to him, louis? if you’re good enough to get team captain, i don’t think you should be concerned about being recruited.”

he scoffed lowly, shaking his head as he looked to the ceiling, “because i’m an asshole, sweetheart.”

God, Forgive Me

ricky rocks. n/a

the morning air broke in clouded breaths as louis stepped out in the private courtyard, the cold eating away at his skin while he still only wore his blue stripped pajama pants and the tight white tee shirt he wore every night.

it was nice to breathe like that, the cold air traveling down your throat, the feeling of pins and needles forming right where his adam's apple was, almost as if he was suffocating, causing a sharp inhale.

it was things like that that made louis feel alive, pain in breathing. pain in living.

"top of the morning to ya," the sound of an english accent from a young female voice caused him to pause in his breathing exercises, but relax once more upon realizing the voice resonated from enya, well presented in her uniform that was ironed for once.

he allowed his shoulders to relax before studying her better with an arched brow, taking a second glance. his eyebrows fully furrowed as he watched her search through her pockets for something, her hair swooping close to the side of her face in an escape from behind her ear.

she looked clean, he didn't mean shower clean, but presentable-going-all-out clean. like he had analyzed before, her plaid skirt, blouse, and navy blue blazer seemed to be nicely ironed, not a wrinkle in sight. something very unusual due to enya usually only picking out an outfit from her dorm floor out of rush from waking up late every morning.

and another thing, she was actually wearing her blazer, which was something she never did no matter how cold days got. she liked flaunting the thin white fabric dress shirt that made it easy to see underneath. it filled her ego like a balloon, she liked when people stared. so wearing something that covered that all up was very strange for enya.

"early morning cig?" she held a cigarette up in the air with her eyebrows raised and he hesitantly took it with the one hand that wasn’t stuffed in his pajama pants. confusion still stained his face while he soon leaned forward, allowing her to light it between his chapped lips.

"why do you look nice?" he mumbled, the stick of paper slightly muffling his speech.

"they initiate top girl today," she stuffed her lighter back into her skirt pocket, replying plainly as if expecting that question.

"and you think you're gonna get chosen?" louis rose his eyebrow, internally laughing a bit at the thought, to which she scowls at him and his smirk.

"no, genius, they already picked someone," she gives him a 'duh' look, with her lips pressed into a thin line and her eyes glaring at him as he continued to keep an amused expression, "i'm just a candle holder."

"a candle holder?"

louis had never heard of such a thing in his life.

"yeah... you'll be there," she dumbfounds, waving him and the traveling smoke escaping past his lips off. she frowned as she did so and he knew it was because she so desperately wanted to smoke but probably didn’t want the smell to seep into her clothes anymore than it already was. "top boy should be getting introduced and initiated as well."

"yeah, well i haven't heard," he dips his head suddenly in irritation, scratching the back of his neck as the nervous tick he had kicked in, thinking of the letter he had received about a week ago addressing the topic of.. top boy.

it made enya narrow her brows to his odd tone of voice, watching and waiting for him to look back up at her. and when he does, his eyes are squinting and avoiding hers.

"no way," she inhaled sharply, a grin consuming her face once in dawned upon her. "no fucking way!" he already cringed at the sound of the excitement and tease already twined into her voice, "you're top boy aren't you?"

the seconds of silence was already enough of an answer, but she wanted him to say it.

"something like that..."

"no way!" her faced scrunched and she raised an accusing finger, “you are such a dork!”

“shut up, candle holder,” he spat, his shoulder dipping low against the brick building. “it’s not like i chose this oh-so-honoring role.”

“whatever man,” she smiled harder, tongue poking the inside of her cheek as she seemed to stare at him with a more taunting gaze, “you’re still top boy.”

he rolled his eyes.

“what’s all this ruckus?”

both their heads raised to a slouched finn who had his hands stuffed in his christmas pajama pants. he was an off putting sight for six in the morning with his large cardigan draped over his shoulders and darkened eyes filled to the brim of stress and longing of sleep ruined by his frantic roommate, josh.

finn almost swore sleep still filled his mind as he did a double take on enya, a frown quickly etching into his face as he almost raises his hand to express his confusion, “you look weird.” he takes a moment to ponder whether or not to read deeper into it, and decided yes, “the fuck is on your face?” his head tilts and leans closer to her own complexion while taking note to the gleaming product on her lips that made them look puffier and more.. obvious. something he concludes as clear lip gloss. “weirdo,” he steps away and continues his trail next to louis.

enya frowns, glaring at louis who raises his hand to rub his mouth, attempting to cover the smile on his face, but failed as a sound of stifled laughter seeped past his lips, “they’re crowning head girl and head boy today.”

finn doesn’t seem to be listening as he’s lighting his own cigarette before mumbling, “that shits today?” he drops his lighter in his cardigan pocket before taking a long drag, “you the understudy or something, enya, in case she doesn’t show?”

“oh for god sake,” she rolled her eyes with an exasperated huff, “i’ll see you guys later,” she turns as they nod her off before suddenly pausing, a snide smile filling her cheeks, "i'll see you up there partner," she flicks her wrist to louis, lightly hitting his chest before walking away with a grin still on her face.

“what’s she on about?” finn narrowed his brows while continuing to puff on his cigarette. louis could only shrugged, looking to his feet before back up to finn.

“she probably inhaled fumes while ironing her uniform today.”

°‱

the moment you woke up your hand took ahold of your lighter out of instinct, squinting as bright light that consumed your body like a blanket and practically ate away at your eyes.

“chicago,” odessa gripped your dorm room door open, a frown on her face as she drunk in your ratty hair and wrinkled and loosely worn clothes from the day before. her chest tightened and she felt like shit as she asked a question the answer was so clear to, “did you forget?”

you rubbed your eyes from sleep, squinting up at the disoriented looking girl without much of a thought as to why she looked like that, “what?”

“top girl initiation, dumbass,” she walked deeper into your room, marching to the closet where she pulled out a pre-ironed shirt and blazer, practically throwing them your way while walking to your dresser in search of a skirt. “while you were getting high yesterday, they were going through a rundown on all the jobs. and because you weren’t there,” odessa huffs before throwing a skirt at you as you stripped from your day old uniform and shimmied into the clean, “you were deemed candler holder.”

“what, was i not pretty enough to be deemed ‘top girl’?” you stifled a laugh as you stretched your arm into the blue blazer slowly out of the soar bones screaming through your movement.

“you aren’t sober enough,” odessa almost whispers sadly before chucking a tie your way, then marching for the door. “get your shit together and then go to the main hall. you’re already late.”

°‱

louis’ mind eased in and out of tension as father george spoke that morning sermon. his voice was low and it made louis feel sick to stomach at how unnerving it wavered throughout the main hall with a slight echo. he estimated he had another two minutes before he’d rip his head off.

being deemed top boy was the stupidest thing louis had ever heard of, especially in front of his airhead friends who all just ate away at this sort of thing. not because it was an honor, but because it was relatively.. embarrassing and really excessive.

him being anxious did not go unnoticed, especially when he couldn’t sit still; bumping his knee up and down, adjusting and readjusting his placement on the hard pews, fiddling the buttons of his dress shirt- it was obvious, especially to josh ovalle who was all too familiar with anxiety.

his elbow shot against louis’ ribs, making him almost jump. josh tried his best to be subtle about it; sneaking his hand into his dress pants before bringing it back into view between him and louis, to reveal two white tablets that louis very well knew were painkillers.

he wasn’t one for taking drugs, especially unprescribed and heavily influential drugs. he wasn’t about that even though half his friend group did just for the hell of it.

it was something josh never understood, especially since louis was as depressed as they got. with shit parents, shit luck, and a shit gene system of inherited disorders, he was bound to fuck himself up and over, but he never really did. it was something he always tried to prevent, never wanting to end up exactly like his shit father.

that’s why he was hesitant before actually taking ahold of the two white tablets and popping them in his mouth quickly, dry swallowing them as fast as he could in hopes relief would consumes him sooner rather than later.

°‱

it took you a lot longer to get to the main hall than odessa anticipated.

you had to have taken ten minutes more than she had originally expected, staggering in with a cough causing eyes to hit you the moment you had fully appeared, swinging through those old pine doors, looking absolutely awful.

eyes red, high out of your mind. clothes disoriented and broken out of there ironed perfection. sweat needling in your hairline as you got a look at the attention put on you.

“are you high?” odessa whispered the best she could once you sat down next to her.

“yeah,” you didn’t even try to hide it as you pressed your lips into a thin line, suppressing a grin full of.. whatever it was that you felt.

she inhaled sharply, shaking her head, not even mumbling a single thing that flew through her mind, because it was exhausting being friends with you; risking everything, including your life 24/7 just for a high that didn’t last long enough, leaving you for your own humiliation.

your high was ruined and you only found yourself zoning out before being shoved onto the low mantled stage with a large gold metal painted staff placed in your hand where a candle sat atop, ready to be lit. you stood from one end of the stage where the newly top girl would soon stand in front of you. across from you. enya, someone you just barely knew, stood with the same staff and posture you had, the only thing was, she looked more presentable.

you grumbled before turning to face the very large crowd of your fellow classmates. some holding blank stares, some seeming anxious as father george continued to speak, bragging on about the high qualities of the next top girl and why she was chosen.

it made you rolled your eyes as you slightly tipped your head back, also becoming anxious and bored, thinking that nothing sounded so great about this next top girl. all the things he listed off seemed like easy qualities to fill, so easy you could probably fill them.

probably not though.

but it didn’t help that the person revealed to be deemed top girl was stacey golifolk with her shiny curled blonde hair and sharp facial structure. it made you roll your eyes, tapping your foot as you glanced at enya who held a similar unimpressed gaze.

the girl smiled with what you could guess was fake joy as she held her hands to her chest, seeming flattered as she made her way up to the stage, waving to no one in particular before reaching eyes with you, suddenly almost scowling before forcing the smile back on and opening her arms, as if to hug you. ïżŒ

“and you thought it’d be you.”

you weren’t sure if you imagined it. you probably did as she seemed completely unbothered pulling away to claim her crown, but your chest still tightened and you couldn’t help but have kindergarten flashbacks when you were pushed in the mud by someone just like stacey golifolk. it made your mind swarm with hate, making your grip on the candle staff tighten.

you hated her.

that’s why you lit her on fire.

after a cheesy cape was wrapped around her shoulders and crown was placed on her big dumb blonde head, the stage was made hers and she begun to give her miss america speech. she almost finished it too if it weren’t for you slowly lowering the gold staff onto the red cape, allowing it to catch fire.

crybaby.

pairings. louis partridge x fem!reader

about. you’ve been hurt by louis many times, but you don’t want to let him go.

Crybaby.

warnings. foul language, lil millie slander 😁, crybaby moment (not bad)

ricky rocks. this story was written at different points in time so 😭 forgive if it don’t make sense

you should have let it be.

ignorance is bliss.

but you weren’t ignorant. you never were and never would be and louis knew that since day one, but he always chose to ignore it, always hoping your love for him would blind you enough to let things go.

but he mistakes your love for something it isn’t, and time after time it kicks him in the ass

11:45 am — y/n: dinner at my house at six

he really only got back to you at later hours of the day due to his life conducting of sleeping, drinking, and sometimes working out if he really wanted; which was rare and almost never till his boredom killed his brain.

4:27 pm — lou: got it.

he didn’t show up. you weren’t surprised, but you still had hoped you would have caught him at a time where he was feeling considerate. guess not.

you didn’t see him for awhile after that, mainly because you were pissed and wanted to give him the silent treatment. otherwise you usually would have been at his house and in his bed within the same day he ditched out on you. the only thing that was different this time was the fact that he also ditched out on your mother too.

it was always hard to explain your dynamic with louis to people, especially your own mother, and even as she loved him dearly, she hoped better for you and urged you to end things with him. you had thought about it many, many times, but it just never happened.

you were attached to him, no matter how many times he broke your heart.

he called a week later, a call you missed, but lucky for you he had left a voicemail.

“eh, love, i’m going to be away from the next couple of days, don’t wait up on me, alright?” he laughs and you smile shamelessly at the sound while it echoed out from your phone for a good second. “i know you will anyways, but yeah, see ya, love ya.” the message is close to cutting off until it seems he remembers something just seconds before he’s about to hang up. “sorry about the other night. tell your mother i love her and your house is the first stop when i get back.”

lie. you knew he would forget that promise, but at least he apologized this time.

lou was an interesting person to say the least; he had no problem saying i love you, he said it before you did, but he hated affection outside of closed doors. any of it, there was a rare chance to ever catch him in such a touchy mood around friends, family, and in public.

he was shitty at communication, but almost couldn’t go a day without you when in the same rural area. he liked to flaunt your relationship all over the internet but got fairly embarrassed whenever the two of you went out on dates.

it was borderline hell.

sometimes you wondered if he even liked you, and you almost doubted it if it weren’t for times when you hung out and the reassurance was there
until he left again. you felt anxious without him.

when you first ever met louis, you tried hard for him. you were always on your toes about how you looked, what you did, what you said—all to make sure no bumps were hit. you spent a significant amount of time crying in the beginning, still did.

“lou, i’m calling,” you bit your lip hard, wondering whether or not you should even be calling. “calling, just wondering if you’re alright, it’s been a week and i just haven’t heard from you
 bye love, call me.”

please call me.

he didn’t call.

“louis, calling again, please pick up.”

no pick up.

“i’m starting to worry for you, love. just send a message or something, bye.”

no message.

“louis, i have your life360 location on, you bimbo, answer your fucking phone.”

oh you were crazy.

things escalated fast after you recalled that you had his location, where you immediately checked to see that he was exactly at his house... and then her house.

millie, of course.

you had always had speculation that there was something going on between the two of them ever sense you had first met her and she could barely stay away from him for more than a minute.

he always denied, but you didn’t trust it. especially not now. millie was one of the most flirty girls you had ever met; she spoke with her hands, and could barely keep hers off his arms or shoulders, and even face.

they way he spoke about her never eased your thoughts. it seemed like he didn’t like her, but yet he always found himself at her house whenever he wasn’t with you. it was a punch in the face.

“louis, this is the last time i’m going to call you. i can’t do this. i know what you want, and it’s not me anymore.”

you were cursing at yourself for giving up already, so easily; without a second thought—but the thing was, you had given him so much time. you just didn’t want to let him go, no matter what.

the knock on your door was the answer to your prayers; because two days later, there he stood on your doorstep, smiling softly.

you were losing your mind at the sight, surprised, even though you should have expected him.

“hi, love.”

“oh, louis,” your hand pressed against your forehead, your eyes stinging from embarrassment knowing damn well that the only reason he was here was because of the voicemails.

“don’t cry,” he stepped in without invitation, pulling you to him with a sympathetic smile, “you’re worked up over nothing, baby,”

“oh, my god,” you shook your head, “i’m sorry.” you could feel your heart aching.

“don’t be sorry,” the hand he didn’t have around your waist was pressed against your cheek. his smile was soft but pressed into a thin line, not knowing what to make of you. “don’t be a crybaby, you’re okay.”

crybaby.

“you break my heart sometimes, lou,” you had your head pressed in the crook of his neck, regaining your composure. he held you, rubbing circles on your back as you spoke lowly.

“i know, sweetheart.”

Hii! I Have A Request T Is Reader X Louis Partridge Where They Are Both Famous And They Have A Loooooooongggg

warnings. swearing

ricky rocks. the links within the text are reference photos i guess. not very long because idk sorry lol x

who asked who out first?

“me, i did,” louis mumbled right away, rubbing his jaw as you stared up at him with narrowed brows.

“yeah, after millie made you.”

“no,” his own brows narrowed as he looked down to you.

“yes,” you nodded your head, your mouth slightly opened as he stared at you with confused eyes, “lou, she bought your birthday present for me too.”

“you know about that?”

favorite memory together?

“i have.. none,” louis swiped his nose slightly, bluntly speaking.

"i have to agree."

he's struck offended.

wallpapers?

“lou’s mine,” you held up your phone after unlocking it before showing a facetime photo from when he had fallen asleep on his couch. “he’s also my- well we’re both on my lock screen,” you hit the power button before hitting it again causing the screen to light up and show the two of hugging each other after a day at the beach. “millie also took that,” you smiled before tucking your phone back in your pocket.

“she’s only my lock screen,” he held up his phone, showing a selfie of him having an arm wrapped around your shoulders from behind in new york. “my home screen is just me and my sisters.”

you smiled at the thought of the photo as he stuck his phone in his pocket then looking over to you, smiling.

favorite gift one has received/given?

your eyes brightened at the question before looking to louis who was already looking at you, a light laugh flying past his lips. his arm extended behind the two of you, his hand lightly grasping the back of your neck, giving it a light squeeze before wrapping around your waist.

“well, i’d say the silver chain that has louis’ name on it, but millie was the one who actually gave it to me, so..” you shrugged your shoulders causing him to lightly roll his eyes before fiddling with the thick gold bracelet on your left wrist that he had a matching pair of on his own wrist, something he bought himself for the both of you.

“she bought me my ‘heaven can wait’ sweater” he said bluntly, “i wear it a lot, but it seems she wears it more than i do.”

you laugh lightly, running your eyes along his jaw.

"you know, before we started dating my closet was filled with clothes, but ever since we've gotten together i only have the option of wearing the same thing every day," his tone is slightly annoyed but has playful banter hidden underneath as he lightly pinches you.

you smile hard, thinking about how much your closet has expanded and how it shouldn't even have to matter whether or not he has clothes at home due to how much louis is at your house in the first place.

over the summer, you both had talked about moving in with each other a lot of the time sense it seemed you both already did at your parents homes. you were almost never apart.

who gets annoyed the most?

“louis.”

“what,” he frowns hard looking to you, “that is such bs, there is no way it’s me.”

“you’re getting annoyed right now,” you grin, extending your pointer finger to him, making his brows furrow more. he stared at you a minute more before slapping your finger down.

"yeah, sure; me."

night in or night out?

you both look to each other and you frown slightly in thought. you can tell louis already has his answer by the way he smiles like a sick dog, his hand slapping onto your thigh, "night in."

he's asked 'why' by the interviewer--further extending the grin on his face, "because you can't make out in public."

you scoff, your face beginning to feel hot, "i'd agree, but not... for his reasons."

not totally anyways.

"oh, cmon love," he slightly elbows you in the ribs, "be honest."

"louis, quit being a perv," you shake your head in slight annoyance.

although the two of you do make out, a lot, nights in don't pertain to that idea, totally. you always find time to schedule movie nights, card nights, or even just plainly eat dinner with each others family.

as much as you loved going out, it got harder the more publicity you both faced from recent movies and shows you both did. you couldn't go a minute without a camera being shoved into your face.

what is one thing you both can't live without?

"lou absolutely can not live without his phone."

"neither can you, sweetheart," his voice is sour as he looks down to you, practically scowling at your insinuation.

"yes i can," you narrowed your brows, "you're such a phone face, lou, you don't even know it."

"since when?"

"since i've met you," you dumbfounded, "anytime i try and communicate to you, it takes about five minutes for you to finally get off your phone and look at me."

he winces a bit, knowing it's true, but he still shakes his head with the kiss of his teeth, "afraid not, love."

"fine, we'll put it down for something we both can't live without."

"no," he shakes his head, "i'm changing mine to you."

your face goes soft, and you look up to him, almost caught off guard, "louis, that's actually so sweet."

"what can i say, i'm a sweet man."

god, forgive me.

pairings. louis partridge x fem!reader

part two of n/a parts.

about. maybe lighting a girl on fire has more pros than cons?

God, Forgive Me.

warnings. foul language

ricky rocks. about time i update lol

seeing stacey golifolk get lit on fire was about the funniest thing louis had ever seen.

everything slowly went to shit and he just absorbed it all with a laugh caught in the back of his throat, rubbing his palms against his thighs as he couldn’t move anything else; completely glued to his seat.

not long after you pressed the gold staff against the cape did you drop the thing on the ground underestimating on how fast the cape would fully light on fire. you had jumped away quickly like a startled cat, eyes wide and a feeling of astonishment bursting through your chest at the chaotic sight.

now stacey wasn’t fully lit on fire, but rather just the old silk cape and some of her pretty hair, but otherwise, she was completely fine and safe the moment father george had come to realization what was happening and tackled her to the ground, then attempting to cease her wailing.

your eyes went wider and any urge to laugh was caught in the back of your throat as you felt multiple eyes on you now and the realization of how dumb of an idea it was.. came to light.

you could only imagine what odessa was thinking right at that moment, but you knew it wouldn’t be good.

**

“what a fucking show,” finn was clapping slowly as he made his way toward the corner of the courtyard where enya and sabrina already stood with not so impressed looks. “i think maybe they should crown bimbo blondes more often if that’s what entails every time,” finn begun to light a cigarette, “no offense sab.”

“none taken,” she raised her hand slightly, waving him off in a timid way. she could still smell burning hair and she didn’t find it amusing as much as finn did with the slim fact that stacy was a friend of hers, and she’d definitely be hearing about it whenever the girl decide her now half balding self. “just don’t vote me in.”

“no promises, sweetheart,” he leaned in with a wink causing her to scowl before snatching the cigarette that he had placed between his two fingers.

“okay, chuckles,” she rolled her eyes, taking a drag from the cigarette, “who even was that girl?”

“probably some ninth year,” finn tsked, “all those newbies are crazy this year.”

“no way,” enya shook her head, “how do you guys not know chicago, we’ve been going to school with her since elementary.”

“sorry, never heard of her,” finn extended his hand out, leaning against the wall.

“you would know her if you saw, you’re both potheads. you guys have noses for each other.”

“funny,” he scowls, taking a drag.

“now was that a show, or was that a show?” josh was grinning from ear to ear as he came stumbling into the courtyard with louis stumbling behind him. “almost thought i was seeing things for a minute.”

“oh, man, you know what i was thinking,” finn smiles now, looking between each of them as he now slings his arm around josh and sabrina, an idea popping into his mind. “now that it seems that all hell has broke loose here at saint mary’s, why don’t we ditch this place.”

“and do what?”

“what do you mean ‘and do what?’ sabrina, what do we always do?” he practically pulls her into a headlock with the arm he has around her, looking down on her like she was one of the dumbest people he had ever met.

“are you okay, lou,” enya interrupts the beginning of their bickering, noticing louis who seems like he is straying away slowly from the group as he tips back and forth on his feet. “you don’t look so hot.”

“thanks,” his voice is tart as he looks at her, his face almost turned sour with narrowed brows.

she wasn’t lying and suddenly they all take note of the sweat beading in his hairline and the redness of his cheeks. he looked winded, stressed out as he looks between each of his friends, but not directly into their eyes.

“you sure you’re alright?”

“fine.”

“josh, what’d you give him?”

“hey, hey, hey,” josh swings up his arms in defense, “why did this suddenly get turned on me?”

“because
you practically have pain killers and oxy falling out of your pockets, now what’d you pop to lou?”

“jesus, what is with all of you,” louis looks between each of them, “need to fucking relax, i’m fine.”

“don’t look fine.”

he ignored sabrina’s comment as he looks to finn, motioning at him, “now what’s this plan about ditching school?”

**

“chicago, you are about the dumbest bitch i have ever met.”

“i hear that a lot,” you were grinning from ear to ear as you sat into a slump on one of the park benches laid in the outer grounds of the school, lighting a cigarette.

she ignored you, continuing, “you’re lucky they didn’t kick you from school or even punish you,” odessa shook her head as she paced back and forth in front of you—who couldn’t care less. “jesus, chicago, getting high everyday is one thing, but lighting a girl on fire? you’re fucking insane.”

“she fucking deserved it,” you giggled, shaking your head. “my luck is unmatched, o, should know that by now.”

“no kidding,” she shook her head before finally looking at you straight on. “try to restrain yourself from fucking someone else’s life up today, i’m going to class.” she didn’t even try to coax you to come with her to class, she was over it.

after everything was under control and half the students were in the court yard, father george had called you into his office where two other teachers stood beside him, overseeing the meeting—something you were sure was an intimidation method to get you to speak the truth—which didn’t work, obviously.

he had asked you if you had purposefully laid the staff on stacy, to which you said no and begged to be forgiven, popping a few tears. he fell for it like a fool, letting you off with only a small lecture to be more mindful.

odessa wasn’t very fond of this outcome, hoping you’d face some sort of punishment. sometimes you wondered if she really cared about you—which she did, you just both had very different ideas of how you should live. she had hoped if you were punished, or expelled, you would come upon a reality check and get your life straight.

that obviously wasn’t going to happen anytime soon.

“well i be damned, it’s the devil herself.”

somehow seeing you out and about was absolutely barreling to finn. he wasn’t sure whether or not he was seeing things correctly, but by the way you were looking at him, he was guessing yes.

“you stopping and staring and acting like you know every other person does not help us get to our objective.”

“are you fucking stupid, mate,” finn sends an elbow into josh’s gut, motioning out to you, “it’s the star of the show today, the leading lady, our lord and savior! josh are you blind?”

josh squints at you as you squint back, frowning hard at this already strange interaction. you knew people that went here were strange, but not this strange.

recognition kicks in for josh and a grin slowly crawls up onto his face, “chicago, you really saved us in there from that head girl and head boy bullshit, i’m sure louis would have to agree. that’s the best thing since jerry coles let one rip louder than
 well whatever is loud.”

what the fuck. who were these people?

“yeah, don’t mention it,” you looked between the two who stared at you like a zoo animal, completely amazed by the simplest movement.

“i’ve heard you got a fix for the devil’s lettuce, how about we thank you and smoke you up?”

your ears immediately perk up to this and you suddenly couldn’t sit still on the bench, “sign me up,” you stood up, swinging your arms around both of the strangers, “just give me when and where and i’ll be there, boys.”

god, forgive me.

part three of n/a.

God, Forgive Me.

ricky rocks. i always forget to update this story even though it's my favorite plot tbh

kathaholics đŸŠ”

finn guess who we just fucking found

sab god himself?

josh we were a little more luckier than that

enya luckier than god?

enya can't wait to hear this

josh the bitch who lit stacy on fire

finn she's coming to smoke with us

sab oh great, another deadbeat to add to our group

josh how could you say that, chicago is a national treasure

josh she did what no one else could do

sab josh, she basically committed arson

finn no, we weren't lucky enough for that

finn more like, third degree burns

josh arson would be like if stacy had just completely disintegrated

josh which sadly did not even come close to happening

"these two jackasses would get themselves expelled if they ever talk like this in public."

"what do you mean?" enya snorts, "they talk like this all the time in public. neither of them have a filtered thought to save them."

louis watches the continuation string of messages between finn and josh dogging on stacy golifolk feed through his screen within their groupchat to no end. he lied in the back of their rec room on an old dusty chair while sabrina and enya continued to discuss how stupid their two friends were.

"louis, you ready to go soon?"

louis perked his head up to sabrina's inquiry, finding both of them looking at him now.

"what?"

"the graveyard," she nodded, "ditching school... remember?"

louis dips his head back as if suddenly being hit with recollection, “oh yeah, uh
 no.”

“no?” sabrina is on her knees know, hanging off the back of the couch as she looks at him in surprisal.

“yeah, you seemed to have heard me correctly.”

“okay, no need to be rude about it, blockhead,” enya barges in, looking widely distasteful to his disinterest. “you’re the one who wanted to go.”

“and now i don’t.”

enya rolls her eyes before mumbling, “fucking cunt,” then turning back around to sit normally on the orange couch both her and sab were on. sab still watched him, more with confusion than annoyance that enya was hunkering.

“what’s up with you?”

kathaholics đŸŠ”

josh yo, wtm

josh i got my bag and we already hopped the fence, so the rest of you fuckers better be on the way

sab looks up from her phone as he still scanned josh's messages, “so, you going or not?”

louis feels a strain of annoyance in his chest and a flash of heat flare upon his face; anger. for some reason, he felt a large amount of annoyance and irritation with sabrina still talking to him even after his rejection. he felt this a lot lately, and not just with sabrina, but right now she was putting the cherry on top of increasing his bad mood.

“fuck off, sabrina.”

**

“do you fuckers have no sense of time?”

“relax fuck face, you act like your mental watch is so good.”

“when weed’s involved, it’s immaculate.”

enya gave a hefty sigh before swinging her bag onto her designated seat. she then looked up, analyzing the three sets of red eyes before her, she smirks, “well, well, well, if it isn’t the woman of the hour.”

“my fellow candle stick holder.”

sabrina rolls her eyes as you and enya lean toward one another to shake hands, and you’re just beaming with a thin pressed smile of amusement. she couldn’t believe this was happening.

“ladies, take a seat. you know where you belong,” josh extends his arms out to the dusty old cushions that filled the area across from him

the graveyard was an old abandoned boys school from the 1950s that was never tore down, but rather left for catholic delinquents to discover and deem as there smoke spot. the five of them currently sat in a rusty old school bus that was cleared of most its seats and replaced with scruffy old couch cushions, bean bags, and really anything to provide comfort.

you were beyond amazed at the craftsmanship when your two new friends pulled you into what was the perfect smoke spot. your urge to spark up had increased immediately upon the sight, cutting your tour short and landing all three of you on the couch shoved all the way to the back.

“aye, where is louis at?”

“his cunt ass decided he didn’t want to come,” the sour tone of enya's voice suddenly covered every part of the bus, making everyone look up to her.

you were quick to catch onto the look josh and finn share over you despite being in your high state. her tone was very sobering and somehow you felt ten times more aware of everything all because of her clear distaste for this louis boy.

“fuck, why is that?”

“fuck if i know, louis has a fuckin’ stick up his ass lately.”

“isn’t that right.”

“sorry, who are we talking about?” your face screws up while you pass on the blunt you had to finn, looking between each of them subtly.

“louis partridge,” finn inhales “brown hair, brown eyes, and apparently a recent stick inputted into his ass.”

“such a clear decipher, almost like you didn’t just describe every walking fuck in our school,” enya rolls her eyes at finn and the vague features he offered, then looking to you. "he's the same year as us, was going to be top boy."

her provided information wasn't anymore of a help either.

"what?" however, a burst of energy seized through the group upon the relevance of it.

"lou was going to be top boy?" sabrina's posture was pulled straight as the rest of them, looking for clarification from enya--all she does is shrug.

"no wonder louis has been such a prick lately. he has to start fulfilling the roll," finn chuckles to himself, slowly starting to slouch back down. "too good for us."

"hey, whatever man, good for him," josh lightly taps finn, "maybe we'll finally get coed bathrooms and cig breaks like we've been petitioning for since first year sense we know someone on the board now."

"you guys are disgusting," enya rolls her eyes.

"what, you think they won't go for the dart breaks between class?"

you think enya's eyes are about to fall out of her head by the amount of eye rolls she's had in the past five minutes. you suppress your snicker as she looks at them with a dead stare.

"yeah, good luck with that one," she readjusts herself. "louis doesn't seem to give a damn about us, let alone your first year petitions."

"cmon, en, it was just one thing. he was only pissy because of coming down off of whatever josh gave him this morning," sabrina's voice lightens in defense of him, pushing enya further in annoyance.

"it wasn't just one thing. he's been a dick for the past couple of months. you can't tell me he hasn't when we're the ones who always have to deal with it because these two dimwits are too high half the time to even speak," her pointer finger jabs in your general direction in reference to both finn and josh who seemed shocked to her accusation. "tell me you didn't forget just because you've known him for so long."

there are hints of more spite that intertwined within the sentence, and you wonder why.

"well, I have known him for a long time."

"we all have, sab, but I don't forget his bitch fits because of it."

"oh, cmon, enya, don't you think you're being kinda harsh?" josh motions mindlessly with the hand that isn't propped behind his head. "you're just still pressed about him throwing out your booze stash."

"yeah, and you would be too if it was your pot."

"yeah, well at least I'm smart enough to not bring it around him when he's asked you not to," he takes a hit, his nonchalantness pissing her off. "plus, you're the one who put it in his room."

"suck me off," she grumbles, finally throwing herself into the cushions as if finally giving up. "he shouldn't be friends with alcoholics when he doesn't want to become one himself."

silence, but you still wonder;

"who's louis again?"
