What about a vid on how to cope with improper team balance or dealing with that frustration. Teach people to give other classes a try if your team is short one or simply going to a different server if the one you're in is filled with toxic people. Yeah it's just a game but it shouldn't be a bad one, and everyone deserves to enjoy it but it's nice to take others into account.

I want to make a video called “How to win in TF2″ but will people just call me a “try hard” or tell me it’s “just a pub” or that I shouldn’t “tell people what to do”.

My brother is one of those people that says “it’s just a pub” yet the hypocrite complains about team imbalance himself.

I don’t know anymore. You “just wanna have fun” but is losing fun? lol It’s only fun if both teams tried to win, and then it doesn’t matter too much if you lost but honestly. WTF do I do? Should I make the video or will it just cause a saltstorm in the comments section?

TF2 UPDATE DAY 1 HYPE???

I am currently still on vacation with STILL no functioning CPU of any sorts. For that reason, I’ll not talk much about the balances as much as how I feel like it’s great in general the devs have finally looked back into the concept of game balance. It’s a good breath of life and exactly the sort of thing that MvM was in terms of bringing on loot incentives, but this is bigger towards standard, non-MvM gameplay. Can’t wait to see what goes right and what goes wrong.

Equally as fantastic is how much community love I feel like this feels like it’s offering not only to the regular community, but to the map making (hooray suijin and snowplow! I love suijin) and the competitive community. I get a lot of you probably don’t care much for how TF2 is now CSGO ololol, and I imagine capitalism and economic-wise it’s gonna fuck shit up. No doubts it will.

Business-wise since I work for the comp scene - this is fantastic news. It basically means the trading and match-betting communities come together, so interest in non-official competitive (a lot of this update is preparing matchmaking I think) rises based even solely on betting alone. From that audience, we might get a good number of people who also show genuine interest in competitive modes and wish to explore that gameplay, or more sponsors for teams.

From an item creator perspective, I can only imagine the offense and betrayal towards cheap and horrid style-breaking retextures, how the devs have once again broken their own item rules for their own benefit. (Some of them ugly as fuuuuuck. Gib cow skinned cowmangler plz) I might be wrong, haven’t dug around their community much for reactions but I’d love to hear from item workshop folk what they think.

Comic: without ruining it for people who haven’t read it, Miss Pauling is fantastic. Second half of the comic has confirmed huge headcanons for me and I’m in love with this woman. I can’t help but sort of…laugh when you see ED-styled Miss Pauling first, and then comic-styled Miss Pauling on the front cover. The way they look, the way they sit - there is a reason a lot of people weren’t sure what to think about ED Pauling in relation to Comic Pauling.

tl;dr: balance is good, maps is good, skins are good and bad, skins will help comp with more high-value items up for bet. Miss Pauling’s legs are a gift from God no matter ED or comic version.
