You know, I think that with all this talk of whose to blame between c!Tommy and c!Sam that we take the time think about why we get no perspective for c!Dream. I just find it interesting that at the end of the day the one who killed Ghostbur was still c!Dream, he made that conscious decision. However since we never get to see his perspective and c!Dream’s been in the prison for so long, we’ve taken for granted at this point that c!Dream is a narrative device instead of an actual character who makes his own decisions.

And yeah, all parties deserve a little blame, c!Tommy for bringing Ghostbur to begin with, and c!Sam for adhering so strongly to a faulty system. But at the end of the day, the death message will always read out as:

“Wilbur Soot was slain by Dream”

Everybody shhh, brain thinking hush okay so. With the recent Tommy lore stream I could SWEAR there’s Greek myth to parallel c!Tommy taking the axe out too early and causing the whole plan to be foiled. But I can’t remember what it is, does anyone know??? What is it...?

I’m only ten minutes into the Foolish-Tommy interaction and I swear this is the dynamic.

My biggest fear with Tommy’s recent lore streams, is that in the next few days/weeks we are going to find out that the price of the revive book is that it isn’t actually permanent and can’t be properly sustained for long. My next big fear is that c!Tommy is actually aware of this, and that is why he has been running around the SMP tying up a bunch of his loose ends and unresolved traumas, so that when he enevitably dies this time he won’t end up in limbo like Wilbur and Schlatt who still have unfinished business.

But that’s just a fear... right?
