Signs you're a recluse and NOT practiced at social situations 😭😭

- Social situations make your blood pressure rise because you think they're judging you off the bat

- Anxiety seeing notifications to your comment/post as you anticipate someone being nasty

- The sheer thought of meeting strangers makes you physically ill

- Hoping and praying you have something in common with a random stranger to save the conversation from crashing and burning

- Absolutely no eye contact whatsoever

- Overthinking what they say ttp it rubs you the wrong way and you hurt your own feelings

- Light disagreements leave you depleted, anxious, and shaky

- Intense disagreements bring you to silent tears and a depressed state

- Being insulted takes you days or even weeks to get over

- Making new friends is nigh impossible unless you have everything in common because you worry that one thing you don't have in common will tear you apart

- You need a distraction all the time to cushion the awkwardness (even with friends)

- Lots of time spent alone thinking about everything you said today and how better you could have said it

- Deliberately exposing yourself to having a bad time thinking you'll grow thicker skin for the next (you don't)
