If I were to have the ability to meet him, this is probably what I would say, in honor of his birthday. (But it'd probably be on any other day)

I understand now that although you struggle to love yourself, you encourage me every day. The strength you possess in yourself and your spirit are a marvel to me, and thus I find my day a little brighter knowing that today is your birthday.

When I was younger, I too used to struggle so much with my image. I cared about my appearance and what I ate, but more importantly I wanted the approval of others very strongly. I come from a background that is hateful of things that distract from the world being a horrible place, things like your music, or books. They are spiteful of things that put your head in the clouds and allow you to dream. So, instead of accepting myself, I changed, and suffered. I'm an adult woman now, and although my struggle was unlike yours, I find solace in the songs that you, and BTS write together.

You are an amazing example of what passion can do to a person. Every time you perform, you put all of your heart and soul into it. You have so much energy and love for people. You fill my days with a motivation to never forget that I can be strong like you.

I want to thank you for sacrificing your young life to cater to us. You, as well as the other members, have given ARMY a type of hope as we go through every day. That hope that there is always someone to comfort us and reassure us, even if life doesn't go how we want, or we're crying by ourselves.

Your song, "Promise, " Has become the thing I listen to when I don't feel ok, and my life loses meaning. I listen to "Serendipity" When I feel lonely. I hear your voice and am calmed straight away, because I feel you there with me. Thank you so much, Park Jimin. Thank you for always soothing me without ever even knowing me.
