also when rhaenyra asks daemon if he accepts her as her queen, it's the equivalent of a parent asking a kid to do the laundry when they were already gonna do it. it's like well nowww i don't WANNA say i'm loyal! i was gonna say i'll kill for you again in cold blood and bow at your feet of my own free will but now you're harshing my mysterious and cool vibe what don't you get???

daemon loves rhaenyra so deeply and you can see and hear that in every word he said and in everything he did this episode. this man didn't sleep for days not knowing if his wife is safe and being absolutely devastated because he had no control about what happened to luke and now no control to make sure she is safe while deep down knowing that this what she needed to do and that she needed to do it on her own and that he was not already on caraxes searching for her or starting to do things on his own makes that even more clear. He respected her decision even if he did not approve it fully but for rhaenyra he did something that was always so hard for him: waiting and not acting on his impulses immediately. And him not saying something harsh as he did to rhaenys but instead just trying to make sure she is not physically hurt and simply whispering "did you find what you needed?" and softly bumping his head against hers to show her he is still there, giving her some comfort is screaming i love you and I am so sorry while knowing that there is no time for all what needs to be said and that she would not hear it now anyway but still he right there at her side.

I think sometimes y'all forget or simply choose to ignore that Rhaenyra wasn't really taught anything about ruling a kingdom much less one that is currently at war specially bc during Visery's reign there was no war, so she knows little to nothing about what to do, and her council can't even give her one good answer, so I would say that considering that she knows nothing about it I think she's doing a really good job SPECIALLY once again bc she also needs to keep in mind Aegon's dream that's the one thing she knows is veryyyy important and considering how she grew up with peace and that's all she knew and even people older than her (who are also in her council) this is all unfamiliar and she's the first queen so she has to navigate the misogynistic world that she's in that sees her as she said herself only as a mother and a daughter and never a ruler, I think the show version gives such a great perspective on the struggles she would unfortunately naturally have in her role as a queen and shows her as such a human being with emotions but also with the strength behind her and it shows her learning what she needs to, if she had been taught all this earlier half of this wouldn't be happening but she wasn't so she needs to learn and face a lot of complicated dilemmas that come her way and im sorry but in the book we dont see that this feels so natural and that's why I love it
