Thunder In Our Hearts Masterlist

Summary: While attempting to break out of the facility she’s been trapped in, the reader discovers Soldier Boy, knowing he’s her only way out alive. After an explosive escape, the pair strike a deal. He kills who she wants, she finds the location of who he wants dead while helping him get used to the modern world. But the pair have more in common than they’d like to admit and forced proximity has a way of making even assholes seem like they aren’t the bad guy…
Pairing: Soldier Boy x reader
Word Count: TBD
Warnings: language, nudity, violence, drug/abuse/sexual assault/torture mentions, male masturbation, smut
A/N: There will be spoilers for Season 3 of The Boys in this one. It picks up about a week after the end of Season 3. Not sure how long this series will go but I hope I get some mileage out of this one!…

Just a quick question are you heterosexual
I’m very disappointed with The Haunting of Bly Manor... the beginning’s cool, the characters have potential accents not counting and the story could have been awesome
But I’d give it a 5/10 and those are 5 points on lesbian representation and potential alone
There’re characters whose stories get explained for no reason (the kids’ parents, and Uncle Henry’s involvement with their mother...? They even imply that how they died is important, and they never explain, Dani’s ex’s story was completely pointless and so was his ‘ghost’, Peter’s backstory was told in half a scene and it was much more important)
The ghost story doesn’t make much sense to me at all. What was Viola’s reason for anything? What are those flashbacks they have? Do all ghosts have them? What exactly did Peter want by possessing the boy? He’d try to leave by possessing Rebecca and that got him nowhere...? Do the ghosts even manage to “cross to the other side”? If so, why?
Also Jamie’s telling the story in front of Uncle Henry, Miles, and Flora and not one of them realises it’s their story?
JESSICA JONES SEASON 01: trauma shapes you.
JESSICA JONES SEASON 02: however, you are not your trauma.
JESSICA JONES SEASON 03: still, since your trauma will always be inside you, you can choose to fight it. Or become a product of it.
“And if you ever want to imagine the future, imagine a boot… no, imagine a sneaker, laces trailing, kicking a pebble; imagine a stick, to poke at interesting things, and throw for a dog that may or may not decide to retrieve it; imagine a tuneless whistle, pounding some luckless popular song into insensibility; imagine a figure, half angel, half human… Slouching hopefully towards Tadfield…. … forever.”
— last line of Good Omens, by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
