Paris Paloma Just Released A New Single Called My Mind(now). The Opening Lyrics Are What Did I Do Wrong/will

Paris Paloma just released a new single called “my mind(now)”. the opening lyrics are “what did I do wrong/will you tell me what I did wrong?” and I can’t help thinking about Alex.

I feel like this is exactly how he would react in a fight with Hen, if the press or one of his family is mad at him, etc. He would always take the blame and ask himself what he did wrong.

I am also currently reading an amazing fic by @littlemisskittentoes called “boxing with no gloves” which is basically a fight with Alex and Henry and Alex says “I can fix it. I can fix this, you have to let me fix it.”

Which. Um.

im SO sick and tired of people being like 'rep tv today!' or 'omg bc of 'post 1' or 'a look onscreen we're getting rep tv!' Like Shut Up. Be Grateful. She's released so much music over the past couple of years its crazy, and a new album is on it's way on april 19. i wouldnt even complain if she waited 2 years to announce rep tv, it would serve everyone RIGHT.

@na-dineee: The author is no stranger to the fandom and has already written quite a few stories that are well worth reading. This fic (POV Alex) is not a prequel to "he looks up grinning like the devil", but it is advisable to read the story beforehand, as they are closely connected. Mind the tags and read the notes, it has a lot of hurt and discomfort in it - but it should get better with Chapter 3 (according to the author, the focus from then on is healing). Getting to know vulnerable, yet strong and fighting Alex is really touching and kept me thinking for a long time!

@dot524: I love reading about Henry and Alex as movie stars, and this story has one of my favorite versions of that yet. They star in a sci-fi sequel here, with a plot that mirrors their own enemies-to-lovers saga. The tension between them — both sexual and otherwise — is sky-high. Enjoying the regular updates and plot turns as this story gets going!

The thing I really liked about this one was Alex’s thoughts about getting older, empty spaces, and what might have been.

Each chapter will be narrated by a different character, with no repeats, and matches the events of one book chapter. And so we'll get a whole new look at the events that we originally only know through Alex's POV. So good already, so promising.

@thesleepyskipper: This is a follow up to Going Platinum which was a fantastic work featuring camboy!Alex and one of his subscribers, Henry. In the sequel, Henry and Alex are newly minted boyfriends and we get to see how their relationship both on and offline changes now that they've finally gotten together. Just the first chapter brought me right back into this world, totally immersed! I cannot wait for the rest!

Several Sentence Sunday - 18/02/2024

ooof hello. nearly was hit by a tram today which was awesome. also i made a quiche. So good times all round!

Firstly I'm gonna plug my most recent one shot, Hot Roots, for some short and crackish fun. And as always have a read of my chaptered WIP AU No.1 (Royal Red and Blue) Oil on Canvas or my completed chaptered fic Henry Fox is Alive, if the mood does strike you! (And my RPF if its your cup of tea)

Untitled Canon Future Oneshot Thing (the one where they haven't discussed having children):

“Well, that will all change when we have kids,” Alex remarks as he loads the dishwasher. Henry freezes, heart stuttering as he slowly turns towards his boyfriend. It occurs to him, suddenly, that they’ve not had this conversation before. Voice weak, Henry says, “whoever said I wanted to have children?” Alex is still smiling. “Don’t joke, H. I know it’s not happening anytime soon. But, you know, in the future.” And he laughs lightly, shutting the dishwasher door and setting it going. He’s still smiling as he turns around to lean against the kitchen counter. His face falls, the light leaving his eyes, when he sees the expression on Henry’s face. “Henry, tell me you’re fucking joking.”
