"The Wandering Monk"
Part of a Fallout fan project I'm working on about a ghoul monk living in the once Chinese occupied country of Tibet.
The story focuses heavily on buddhism, and the influences it has on this part of Asia post-war.
This was all hand painted in procreate

(YES they’re genderfluid i have queer projections onto almost every chara in the book and how enby genders intertwine with the noise and the underlying themes BUT ILL MAKE ANOTHER POST FOR THAT HEHEE)(diversity win, this misogynist teenager goes by she he and they!)
this is for book 1 and the beginning of book 2 and .. book… 3… hahah..UM.
the whole time reading i thought he was kind of like todds freaky edgy older brother so i kind of went with making him as ‘alternative’ you can get when you’re on a new planet. he’s probably using charcoal to smudge onto his eyes , and the mayor probably *hates* that shit 😭🙂↔️
he also has heterochromia (which will be super important when i post my mayor design later (I’ll probably do an in depth post about my design choices for mayor and Davy in a whole separate post atp ;-; ) so he covers it with his greasy farmboy hair. probably to avoid ridicule and stuff. he’s the sheriff after all 😔
he’s still absolutely greasy and stinky and dirty though, love them!

it's been 24 hours and i'm still thinking about corypheus trying to bind cole during the final fight and cole - running full tilt, daggers out, with max guard and a barrier shielding him - going "i am no demon, and you are no god!" and then later at the celebration kicking his feet and giddily asking, "did you see it? did you see me?” because corypheus wasn’t able to bind him because he’s his own person now and he knows it
I’ve always loved beefy hawkes, but there seems to be a massive disproportionate number of garretts vs marians so here I am to remedy that!!! hehe 💪😘✨🙆

I think the trick to running fallout new Vegas is to never get too excited, it’ll spook the game and crash to desktop. You have to remain calm and collected
Me when both of the fandoms I love so dearly are brought back to life by new media but I get stuck in paralysis everytime something I love gets lively again
