things to ask yourself when designing a female character:

I hate Atlas. So much. This freak who we can't even classify from how much of a monstrosity he is, comes and gloats about how powerful he is, takes my backpack and shakes it, and lets the doll stuffed inside fall to the ground and smash its head open.

Danny was genuinely scared of ghosts when he was a little kid, and hated getting anything related to them from his parents. On his 7th birthday, he got a porcelain doll with a ghostly head, covered in a white dress to represent the bedsheet ghost that it was. Danny hated it, but gave it to me for safekeeping. To keep him safe. I took that doll proudly, and have kept it ever since.

Atlas just carelessly broke it, there and then. I was so mad in the moment that I slipped the fact that I carried it around to remind me of Danny since he disappeared. Atlas froze, squinted his four freaky eyes at me, and then went onto some rant about how Danny deserved to be gone, and how we should just forget about him. That's when Sam shot him in the chest, despite the hit itself not hurting him in the slightest. Kinda hard to punch an asshole in the face when he's floating several feet up in the air. He was disoriented from the hit long enough to let us retreat back to FentonWorks.

I was able to grab some of the broken pieces of the doll from the ground, but there were still some chunks left missing. Jazz offered to fix it, the saint that she is, but I declined and threw the extra pieces away.

I feel like if I did accept, it'd just prove Atlas right. I'd be forgetting the actual person behind the object, too busy reminiscing and procuring the past to actually acknowledge Danny himself. Still carry it around though. -T.F
