I Think I've Just Learned My Life's True Purpose
I think I've just learned my life's true purpose
every now and then i see posts about how kids these days don’t know how to pirate anymore but i was hanging with an 11 yr old today and she was telling me about all her favourite illegal streaming sites to watch anime and how she made a japanese google play account so she could play magia record so i guess i’m here to reassure you that cool kids very much do still exist. and they will never go extinct as long as you keep teaching your little cousins and neighbour kids how to pirate

This is why I’m still on this hellsite.

remember, it's imperative to turn your aesthetic preferences into moral ones. you can't just dislike neutral colors, or glass-and-steel skyscrapers, or flat design, they have to be symbols of neoliberal capitalism in decay. it's incredibly important that you make sure everybody knows that the only reason anyone could like the things you don't like is that they're an empty shell of a person.
Sherlock 😅
okay tumblr olds. tell me in the tags what piece(s) of media you’ve never seen/read/played despite them dominating your dash for months or years
It's the username for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Bitter Resentment
A girl sits bereft in the back of the parking lot. Her phone lay quietly in her hand, serene as a still pond. If the girl could feel anything besides shock, she'd be angry at the device.
Only moments before, the sound from the phone had been news that made her world stop.
She's gone. She's gone. She's gone. She's gone. She's gone.
The girl couldn't hold on to anything more than that phone. Her carefully picked groceries lay in chaos all around her. Ingredients for a week of monotony lost in the aftermath of grief.
She left me. She left me. She left me. She left me. She left me.
Why?
The girl and her mother had been enemies for so long that this brief interlude between fights was common.
What did I even say to her last? Some shit about college?
It all seemed pointless now. How can the girl rise from the concrete let alone go to school? It was impossible.
Why?
It was a question set on repeat in her brain.
After everything, the fights, the sharp words, and sharper blades.
Why?
Was everything just for nothing? All the chaos, the rage, the love.
Nothing?
NOTHING?!
Mother is gone now. Did this now mean the girl is an orphan? What do orphans do?
How?
How does the girl move on? Literally and figuratively.
Eventually she would have to move. She couldn't stay there on the ground forever.
On numb, shaking legs she stood.
