the man finishes his drink and sets the glass down. he stands up, letting you lead the way. “after you, i’m parked outside.”

the two of you walk out of the bar and into the rainy night. he opens an umbrella to shield you both from the rain as he guides you to his car. he unlocks the doors with a press of a button and opens the passenger side door, waiting for you to get in.

the man shuts the door behind you, then walks around the car to the driver's side and gets in.

the interior of the car is comfortable and elegant, everything seeming to be made of fine leather and wood. the dim lighting inside casts a soft glow on his fair features, making him even more handsome in the semi-darkness.

“has anyone commented about your way of speaking and acting?” you ask out of genuine curiosity.

he chuckles softly, keeping his gaze focused on the road “now and then, people often say i’m sophisticated, sometimes i think it makes me pretentious.”

you hums in amusement. “i don’t think i’ve got your name.”

he glances over at you, a smirk displaying on his face. “my apologies for the lack of manners, i’m taesan.”
