Latest commission done by the delicious @ryuichirou. The finished product was too spicy for tumblr, so I sadly had to cut something out.

Always been a fan of these two, and their dynamic as a couple offers such potentials ... This is what should have happened during their fight on that roof ... Or maybe it's something that happened later ... After all, Renji actually *gave* his permission to Uta to eat him, so ...

So, this challenge was nearly impossible ‘cause I have way too many people that fit in that category ... And thus, I’ve decided to include here those characters that would (and are actually capable of) gnaw me alive, bones and all. (All because one day a freakin’ spider-monster in the “Angel’s Feather” OAV awakened something in me   ) As always, for shit and giggles.

Uta (Tokyo Ghoul)

Don’t get me wrong, Tsukiyama (from the same fandom) is my perfect little psychotic ray of sunshine, but if I have to choose who invite over for dinner, Uta is just a little more intriguing for me. His whole “aesthetic”, to begin with. Also, I’m a big fan of masks, so I was sold on him the moment we discover what job he has. And of course, the main selling point it’s his (actually quite well hidden) dark side ... And that laugh ...

Douma (Demon Slayer)

Again, it was quite difficult to choose between him and Enmu (from the same fandom). ... And Enmu, actually came really close to winning this, all because of that marvelous power of his to put people to sleep (and god knows I need something like that ...), his soothing voice and his sadistic personality ... But Douma ... Douma is simply a gift. ‘Cause Enmu’s affability is faux 100% and he actually doesn’t even try to hide his cruel side. Now, Douma’s behavior is also a facade ... but only because he simply is uncapable of feeling anything and has decided to settle for a smile and a caring disposition. The fact that he seems to genuinly believe that eating people “so that they can live forever inside him, with no more struggles or pain” is an act of extreme benevolence on his part is what does it for me. Also, in the Anime he’s voiced by Mamoru Miyano and that’s a BIG plus.  

Froud (Lamento - Beyond the Void)

The Demon of Joy. This happy green fella is pure perfection to me. He is utterly sadistic (and masochistic); always smiling and enthusiasitc; never raises his voice or wears a frown, not even if they’re killing him (he’s actually quite pleased by that); and most of all ... His voice is extremely soothing. I relax instantly every time he appears in the story (even if what he does and talks about is everything but “comforting” ^^; ...)

 What year did you get into Berserk?

I think it was back in 2010-11, during my school-leaving exams.

Did you watch the anime or read the manga first?

I have a really fond memory of that ‘cause it was actually my father that introduced me to the 1997 Anime. He knew I was stressed because of my exams, knew that I liked “Japanese cartoons” and bought randomly the entire DVD set for me. Thanks to those DVDs, every day was a blast – after studying, I watched *one* episode per day - and the exams didn’t seem so stressful anymore. After reaching the ending, I had to know what happened next and bought the manga.

Who’s your favorite character and why?

Griffith. He absolutely has one of the most compelling case for “turning to the dark side” that I have ever seen. But to be honest, that thought didn’t immediately came to me when I was watching the Anime. I loved his great military mind, his charisma, how he would turn from a giggling child to a ice-eyed murder machine (I remember I particularly appreciated the fact that he never initiated a conflict with someone, but his unscrupulous response was just in retaliation after one attacked him) … and of course, I loved his relationship with Guts, also one of the principal reasons that makes this story such a good tragedy.  

Do you have a favorite story arc?

I have to give this one to the Golden Age, for obvious reasons … but in second and third position I have the Black Swordsman arc (that actually was my first introduction to an “anti-hero” character like Guts and I found it utterly fascinating) and the Lost Children (“Peter Pan” through Kentaro Miura’s eyes was deliciously disturbing and I couldn’t have asked for anything better)

What are your top 3 ships?

Griffith/Guts; Farnese/Casca; and Sonia/Irvine (this one is not a romantic ship, but more of a “fluffy friendship” in my head ^^;)

Who’s your favorite apostle?

Irvine. He’s perfect. I don’t know, I just find him adorable. His quiet demeanor, his look and his interactions with Sonia make him very endearing to me.

Is there a character you’d know that you’d be friends with?

I think I can see myself getting along pretty well with Sonia. We could fawn over all the sexy monsters together XD

Who’s your favorite God Hand?

Slan. She’s beautiful, can appreciate a good tragedy (she’s even moved to tears by the drama, and that’s a mood!) and being tore apart has only the effect of giving her an orgasm, and frankly all of us should take a leaf from her book U.U

You’re allowed to bring one character back from the dead. Who are you bringing back?

As much as I’d like to bring back Rosine so she and Jill can crown their love dream … In the end, I’d bring to life Adonis. I think it would be interesting to see how things would evolve (especially for Guts) with him back.

Love when writers do an insane amount of unnecessary research for their fics. I follow an author that did like 8 months of intense research into 14th century Scotland so they could write smut about it, and guess what. It was some fucking incredible porn AND I learned about old Scottish politics
