Felt like re-redesigning every GOBB character to see how much I've improved in my art and character design skills since 2023. Here's a first batch, drawings on the left are from 2023, drawings from the right are 2024! Now who got the biggest glowup

Erm, hey chat! New oc?? Yes!! Meet Edward, why is he called that? Idk i thought it was cute and suits it.

Edward is a robot comprised of scavenged bits of technology, he's got a cd player with a screen for a head, a microwave for a torso and 3 mechanical arms you'd find in a factory for arms, that have been fitted with ball-joints for extra manoeuvrability. The third arm is located on his back so when he needs to use his main hands to do stuff, it's got another arm to balance on (which is also the strongest arm). He's also actually pretty small, like you could carry him without much effort.

He was made by Galanos, another oc (sorta a persona) who i still need to properly design, who is an anthro albino wels catfish guy with a few mechanical body parts.

Edward acts as a voice for Galanos, as he can't actually talk, using a notepad and pencil or sign language to communicate. The reason Galanos is able to use Edward to communicate is cos Edward can hear Galanos' thoughts, dont ask how cos idk either 🤭. I'll put references down ⬇️there⬇️

I put Spud here cos the inspiration came from how they walk on just arms, i've seen a few other characters that do this but Spud is the only one i can remember right now.

Okay enough yapping now, i'll redraw them tomorrow in more poses to get a better idea of their body in a 3D space, not just this flat drawing, toodle pip! 👋

Beautiful cricket (?) i saw after college the other day!! Not actually sure it's a cricket i'm not that good with insects, please correct me if i'm wrong. Also is this a good way of doing warnings? I know quite a few people don't like insects and so i've tried to put a warning, i wish you could blur images or put a warning on them, that'd make this so much easier

my only wish is to pamper spud. he deserves some rest.
