Everyday I go through this cycle of convincing myself using logical reasoning and pattern reading that I hate him and he's no good for me,

to resolving to cut all tires and completely burn that bridge,

to hating how it would feel if I actually went through with it,

to missing him terribly,

to telling myself I'm not ready to face the void he'd leave in me,

to feeling pathetic because I really don't have a spike when it comes to the chokehold he has on me. Sigh 😮‍💨 I can't wait to break this godawful cycle

Nobody talks about how hard it is to stay positive especially when nothing is really happening. But I will keep on keeping on because the alternative will just end up with me spiralling down a dark hole.
