Does Sonic have any words of encouragement for someone dealing with loneliness? I hope he, and you the lovely mun, are doing as well as you can.

For the whump prompts, 8 or 29 with Trafalgar Law?

8) “Do you really think they could ever love you?” 29) “Let them go and you can have me. Let them go and I’ll never try to leave again. I promise.”

Well these are just positively painful.  So much angst potential in these. So much.  Let’s see what I can come up with, shall we?

100 Whump Dialogue Prompts

(Alternatively, I’m still doing: Drabble Challenge: 1-150 (feel free to specify a fandom/character), Send me ✨ and a character/ship for a songfic drabble or Random Question Prompts.)

He knew it was a nightmare.  Doflamingo Donquixote, on the Polar Tang, in all his disgustingly pink-feathered glory.  There was nothing else it could possibly be, but that still didn’t tell him if it was a living or dreaming one.

“You have a choice, Law,” the man told him, voice both smooth as silk and raspy as worn-out threads.  The voice of nightmares, of his trauma and one day, his future.  “Come back to me.  Come back to the family.  It’s where you belong, after all.”

He didn’t mention Cora-san.  There was no hint towards the younger brother who had betrayed Doflamingo.  Betrayed everyone.  All for Law, so he could have a life to live.

Law stood his ground, defying the instincts in his brain that told him to flee, or at the least form a Room and deposit Doflamingo into the waiting seas outside.  He should do that, should get Doflamingo out of his life once and for all, but his heart was pounding and his blood was rushing and he couldn’t even twitch a finger.

It didn’t matter anyway.  He was the only one without a string slipping down from the overarching bird cage.  The Polar Tang was peppered with holes and his crew - his nakama - were all lined up like cattle to the slaughter.  Puppets on strings, with hollow eyes and slack faces.  Not one of them had even tried to fight against their fate.

Not one of them had even tried to help him.

Doflamingo turned his head, looked to where his eyes had slid, and those thin, cruel lips quirked into a smile.  “Oh, Law.  Do you really think they could ever love you?  All you were doing was leading them like lambs to the slaughter.  You dragged them into this pitiful teenage rebellion of yours, and they’ll hate you for it.  Always have done, always will do.”

Law had never asked his crew to love him.  He’d never asked them to follow him, either.  Those words shouldn’t hurt, shouldn’t matter, but they did and they did.

Law’s crew might not love him, might have just used him as an escape from their old lives because he was there and convenient, but somewhere along the way, he’d grown to love them.

Cora-san had died protecting him.  Lami had died because he’d shut her in with the fire.  His crew...

“Let them go and you can have me,” he promised.  No-one moved.  Not Doflamingo, ghastly shades hiding his eyes and thoughts, not his crew.  None of them cared, but Law did, and Law had had enough of watching people he loved die because of him.  “Let them go and I’ll never try to leave again.  I promise.”

Thin lips parted and Doflamingo smiled at him, all predatory teeth.  “Welcome home, Law,” he purred, arms spreading.  The puppets that were his crew shuffled to one side, and then the bird cage was gone.  The strings were gone, but still they did nothing.

They just watched.

Law prayed he’d wake up soon.

I'm Wanting To Try And Figure Out The Sonic Art Style This Winter Since It's A Franchise I've Loved Over

I'm wanting to try and figure out the sonic art style this winter since it's a franchise I've loved over a decade now as well as being where my love for art really started. So for my first finished and decent drawing in this journey I have my childhood favorite female character Blaze !
