If I remember what I’ve read correctly, He tore ligaments swimming.

His knee cap would often dislocate if he twisted his knee on stage so once mid show he whacked it back into place (because….Till obviously…)

Paul spotted it and thought it was a cool new dance move so told him to do it again.

Till Hammer was born.

He definitely had the same knee smashed by the Segway (I’m convinced that’s why flake now gets boiled in the pot- public penance for mowing down the singer mid tour)

I think he’s had some surgery to it at some point as one of the photos from Amazonias with Joey Kelly his knee looks scarred (but again this is Till it could be rogue tin opener injury who knows)

Is Till's knee issue because of that time Flake ran him over with a segway?

That didn't help, but Till's knee issues go back long before that, if i remember correctly, that's why he 'invented' the Till hammer
