On Gale's hairstyle

Grey hair start appearing from the hair line, so if you have longer hair they're not visible unless you wear your hair up. Now look at Gale's original hairdo:

He styles his hair up, especially those above his forehead, so that we can see more of grey streaks. My idea is that he is proud to have greying hair, he flexes about it.
