Do we need to "officially" recognuse character traits as disability? I think it is a matter of individual interpretation. Why should the whole fandom perceive the work of art in the same way? Isn't it the very essence of fandom that we can come with different interpretations?

Yeah. This fandom really needs "Astarion's bloodthirst is a DISABILITY actually!"

It's not like we have four out of six other origins who are physically disabled in some form. It's not as though Astarion himself (among others) clearly has PTSD, making him disabled as well. We've just GOT to say that him literally consuming others' blood and vitality to survive is a disability analogy.

I mean, fuck actual disabled people, right? (Or, I'm sure we should be grateful to be compared with everyone's favorite vampire.)
