I hate Lloyd Reed’s art from Heroes. He used to be so hot! Now he looks ugly and constipated. What happened to the man I fell in love with?!?!

If I don't draw for a few days, I start getting rusty, so I have to fart out something like this to remind my hand how to art.

By the end of both branches of The Road Not Trekked, Nerr is suffering from serious, irreperable brain damage, both traumatic and hypoxic (as a result of actually dying rather than almost dying, and being brain dead for several minutes). She suffers from near constant migraines and her fine motor skills have taken a hit (she can walk, but she has difficulty feeding herself), to say nothing of the insomnia, mood swings and hypogeusia (a taste disorder that reduces your ability to taste... well, flavor). She can deal with all that, and had been dealing with most of it for months already, but the thing that bothers her is the red. She occasionally experiences hallucinations, mostly triggered during moments of extreme stress when she sees warm colors (reds, oranges and yellows- if you read my fic, you'll know why that triggers it). She occasionally has violent outbursts at these times, but usually goes into a catatonic state for several minutes.

It doesn't matter what side she's on; Nerr never wins the war.

For all my fellow Fire Emblem fanfiction writers, if you need some help detailing those fight sequences, might I suggest this site? Now, it won't teach you the proper stance a medieval lancer would have used while attacking a mage, but it WILL help you better understand what would've been left of that mage after the player phase. For a series who's concept is that in war, all your actions have consequences, Fire Emblem does a pretty poor job of actually SHOWING those consequences. Earlier games had the excuse of simple graphics, but fully rendered 3d games just prove they want their story of the tragedy of war to be as pretty as possible. "Look at all these dead characters with no blood or bruising anywhere on them and also perfect hair and clothes despite them being stabbed to death... what a tragedy..." (lookin' at you, Elise...) Healing magic might exist in the FE universe, but getting julliened by a swordmaster using Astra is going to result in more than a few hit points being lost. It seems almost redundant for me to have to say this, but there are some rather graphic images on this site. It's several paragraphs detailing the various types of injuries and the likelihood of survival from specific types of weapons. It's not a shock site, it's a learning resource, and it's a great one. So yeah, if you want a touch of realism in your fics but aren't sure what the survival rate of a character being smashed over the head by a Steel Club would be, this might prove useful (hint- it's not very high)

I'm writing a fight sequence between Nerr and Hans, and this is my inspiration. I don't want them on equal footing- Nerr has been struggling since the start of the story. I want her to crush his balls into a fine paste and kick him away like the garbage he is. I want her to go after those balls like they personally wronged her. She needs this one victory.
