More old Winx Club fan art. This was my attempt at a speed paint, and yes, I put an overlay layer over it because I'm too much of a pussy to paint things in darkness (I mean, this is artificial movie darkness, but still). It took me so long to remember what Helia's weapon looked like.

Old art is old. I know the anatomy is all over, but I don't care. This is one of, if not the, best dresses I ever designed. I redrew this a shit load of times, and much better in some. I would love to make that dress, but the navy would be satin (the matte side) while the aqua and white would be velvet. I fucking HATE velvet (the way it feels, love the way it looks), but it HAS to be velvet.

God, this hits close to home. A lot of my dad's family spent my childhood refusing to acknowledge that I'm half white (I don't pay them any mind now). "Oh, you're black, she's black, look at that hair- black." Uh... HALF black...

Fuck that asshole!” but then immediately forgets him again?
