Am I allowed to say I actually really like Lanque?

His character is refreshing

I love that he’s a slutty bastard man

and Honestly? I hated the first “bad” route. Sure, Lynera was adorable and everything was nice, but Lanque was sickningly sweet.

I’m tired of seeing every canon trans character has to be perfect and “non-problematic” Or even every canon lgbt+ character in general. We see Elwurd, who is canotically a lesbian, deals drugs. We see so many other trolls (who we can easily assume are bi or pan due to the trollian reproductive situation) who are literal murderers, but we never see any “this is bad bi/pan rep!!” Homestuck and Hiveswap are FULL of representation, both good and “bad”

I don’t want to see people saying Lanque is bad rep. frankly, I think he’s exactly what we needed. I love to see a jadeblood who’s a gossipy asshole, and it seems to fit Lanque more than any of the jade girls.

And before someone says I shouldn’t share my opinions on trans issues, I’m a trans guy okay? I attached to lanque the second he was released. He’s been one of my faves this entire time. and this sim just made me love him more.

Would I have liked a bit more of a hint at Lanque’s personality? Yeah, I really would’ve. But Imagine if his tc card mentioned that he was an asshole, I wouldn’t doubt the friendsim team would’ve had a mob at every corner for “bad rep”- more than they already got from him being feminine.

Personaly I think Lanque is good rep cause it shows that we are actual people who can have flaws. Even though Lanque seems to have quite a few.
