New TAILS!!! Finally!

Ok so here’s the thing

I am taking so long making all those tails that I got bored a tiny little bit so I started doing other stuff on the side. Then we got the hair update and I need to update my hairs. So. I really don’t like making you wait any longer for my tails so I thought F**K the 4th set and here are the tails I got so far (plus extras)

Ready? Ok go.

First is the Kala Mer'ri (inspired) Tail set kinda (REQUESTED):

- Length: Normal

- Swatches: 20

- Base mesh(es): Original tails

- Has extras:

• Kala Mer'ri (inspired) Top with 25 swatches (base game compatible)

• Kala Mer'ri (inspired) Hair with 18 basic swatches (base game compatible)

• Kala Mer'ri (inspired) Hair strands recolor with 40 swatches (base game compatible)

• Kala Mer'ri (inspired) Hair band recolor with 30 swatches (base game compatible)

- The tail is heavy and moves as a block in game; it’s basically just for the show.

- Has an emission map.

- Base mesh(es): Original tails + the dolphin mesh from the game.

5 rather unique-ish wings (well I thought they were).

Hey!

Made some wings as I mentioned in a recent post. Made 5 actually and I decided to share them now cause they’re done so why the heck not.

The Triple Darner Wings:

They come in 15 swatches. If your sim’s butt is too large it will clip with the wings.

Next we have the Plumbob Wings:

Again, these come in 15 swatches (the mood colors basically).

Next there is the Butterfly Wings:

15 swatches again and so obviously hand drawn with a mouse in a 2D editor.

The Crystal Wings:

30 swatches for that one.

And last but not least, the heaviest thing I’ve ever made (here you can see/get the rest of the set: https://www.patreon.com/posts/treefish-mermaid-43137151). Seriously, it’s heavy.

Don’t go hoping to play with that using a potato plugged to some cheese whiz buttered knife cause it WON’T WORK! (I tried)

The Root Wings:

Only 5 swatches for this one cause they use the same texture map as the lil head crown I made to go with the tail.

Seriously, you can play with it, I was joking with the potato thing. My old crappy laptop can handle it, so can yours! It may scream all the way and beg for mercy, don’t listen, it don’t know!

All 5 are disabled for random and enabled for both frames (adults only). All base game and found in skin details. I really enjoyed making them so I might (oh yeah, definitely) make more in the future.

Now, I plan to take a full month of vacation from meshing (all of July) to recharge the ol creative bank so I will pause the upcoming billing cycle.

I am not going anywhere, I’ll still be here just not really meshing and it wouldn’t be fair to charge people for that.

In the meantime you can expect more custom content for the rest of June. Dunno how many, but more for sure :D

-I included a package for a no eyebrows for all gender/ages just in case you didn’t already have one.

-You can also choose the all merged version (just unmerge it in your cc folder). Doesn’t contain the no eyebrows thing.

**IMPORTANT, MUST READ ALL**

Known issues:

-The kids and toddlers head fin can clip a little with movement. There’s also some mild clippage action with the toddlers at the junction between the top and bottom in the back but only when toddlers are squatting. Sorry about that D:

-(not really an issue but eh) You will probably want these eyes from tklarenbeek:  https://modthesims.info/d/643509/alien-anime-style-eye-preset.html and no brows. I also included a no eyebrows for all.

-The scales overlap with each piece added (except for the head that will cover only the head part and can be used alone) and it looks way better if you have a colored skin under it; The Zora set is a whole. You need to use them all for the design to look good (again, except for the head that can be used alone).

-All sims gotta be naked! The set does not play nice with clothes. You might want nude tops and bottom, don’t know. I think accessories can be used but not all of them will work.

-I suggest you use an invisible top and invisible shoes mod that you can find here: https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=54024

-Don’t work too well either with custom feet (see in second picture)

-The tails are still tails; they may look like legs but in the water it looks like they have no bones. I prefer to think they have cartilage instead of normal human bones XD
