Adult. Not a safe space for TERFs, the labrys flag is not your hate symbol by the way. I use this blog for whatever I want, mostly screaming into the void and uplifting obscure queer identities. Warframe and Sonic content likely. Scary transandrophobia truther. More in pinned. trans people should not have to worry about not being seen as their gender for any reason
trans people ARE their gender no matter how fuckin horrific of a person they are
if you don't misgender cis criminals stop fucking doing it to trans criminals
stop othering trans people

now that my post about breaking down one's idea of what a woman looks like has circulated for a while (thank you all), i'm now going to make this post, as i do not want people to derail that specific conversation, nor this one.
we also must break down our idea of what a man looks, acts, sounds, behaves, and presents like.
men are not cis, het, allosexual or highly sexual beings, tall, muscular, strong, hairy, deep voiced, broad chested/shouldered, emotionless, mean, aggressive, unemotional, uncaring, distant, cold, stoic, heartless, standoffish, bread winners, bad/absent fathers, macho, obligated to work despite disabilities, or obligated to be "the man of the house."
men are people. first and foremost.
men are allowed to express just like anyone else. men do not have to be pillars of their communities. no obligation. men are allowed to be disabled, tired, weak, emotional, caring, compassionate, asexual, aromantic, friendly, warm, in need of support, neurodivergent, mentally ill, chronically ill,and have personality disorders. men have their own struggles and we have to stop telling them to "suck it up" and "move on" and "pull yourself up by your boot straps".
we are forcing men to do this: this is a cage of our own design.
once we dismantle this idea of how a man "should" be, once more: we will move past radfeminism, patriarchy, trans/androphobia, and fostering a culture where this is an acceptable way to treat men. it's not. we must allow men to be diverse. we must allow men to be who they are on the inside
that white and fluffy haired AFAB stereotype has ruined everything. not even joking about that. I was going to say '/hj' but no it ain't even a half joke anymore this stereotype has actively rotted the brains of people who don't know anything about this community. I present as a man. I get gendered as a man. I am nonbinary. I couldn't lose weight (and keep it off) unless I wanted to suffer for literally the rest of my life, and I can't pass for white even if I wanted to.
these bitches just created a trinary complete with expectations of what this 'third gender' is 'supposed' to look like.
the fact that some people genuinely believe that amab enbies don't exist literally hurts my brain because the first trans person i ever met IRL was a transfemme agender person. last summer i met an AMAB masc nonbinary person who used he/they pronouns. now that I've been going to queer spaces IRL, I've met so many different kinds of amab non binary people; masc, femme, doesn't matter. if you actually interact with the trans community at large you'll find that we are just as diverse as any other group of people. folks viewing nonbinary as a white afab person phenomenon have had their perspective tinged by their extremely closed off internet circles where they can pick and choose what narratives they adopt without any correction from an external source

yeah. if they even start talking about trans people and stuff they certainly should teach about intersex people, because we're often left out of the conversation or just tacked on as an afterthought. too many trans activists have said 'sex is binary, gender is not' which shows how important it is to also educate about intersex people.
"unpopular opinion" (that should be popular): i think public schools should start teaching ab intersex people.
