I think one of the biggest drivers in the "transandrophobia discourse" is that the women/transfems who are currently going after transmascs, belive that men have some inherent qualities. The flavor changes depending on who is talking, but it's always one of them: bioessencialism, genderessencialism, sexessencialism, ect.

Newsflash: feminism includes everyone and strives to free ALL from these societal systems. As soon as you exclude literally anyone, you're not a feminits anymore. Even if that group is cis, white, hetero, able-bodied, upperclass men. They are not opressed by this system, but they sure are affected! And need to be included in femminist discussion. Both about their struggles with patriarchy and capitalism AND about preventative measures for rape, SA, sexism, ect. (How they cause harm through perpetuation of harmfull systems. That they did not put in place. Literally just please give men a space to deconstruct these systems for themselves. They are not gonna 100% see themselves in theory made by women and thats ok. That doesn't make them automatically evil.)

it's so irritating to me to see stuff like 'xenogender playlists' and it's all cutesy and upbeat. there never seems to be representation for the xenics like me with darker genders... hell, even the main flag is cutesy. I get that if you were to try to capture every way someone can be xenic in one playlist, it'd be a clusterfuck of a playlist. But if it were up to me, there'd be more xenogender playlists with metal and shit, or at least stuff that wasn't just overly preppy and 'uwu'. I may actually make a playlist (chances are I will never actually make a playlist) that matches my gender better because I feel so unrepresented that I have to take things into my own hands.

Especially when someone is talking about how they WANT bottom surgery and someone butts in like "l just don't think it fits my ✨aesthetic✨" as if anyone asked how much they hate phallo/metoidio

I don't know how the hell I missed this message, but it's possible I saw it and didn't know how to reply at the time (I also have the tendency to have things slip my mind if I don't address it quickly enough). regardless, I have indeed noticed the behavior you're referring to. I, myself, have been affected by the rampant fearmongering around phallo/metoidio to the point that it affects my desire to get bottom surgery. That fucking sucks. I wish people could stop making those of us with bottom dysphoria feel like we'll never get a sufficient solution to the problem.

if you misgender trans women & femmes who also identify as men & mascs by ignoring their identities as women and/or femmes, no matter what your reasoning for doing so is, you're transphobic. you're participating in transmisogyny. trans women & femmes are also allowed to be bigender, multigender, gender non conforming, butch, masc, men, boys, androgynous, gender neutral, genderfluid, and other gender identities along side being women and/or femmes.

these other identities do not cancel out our womanhood or femininity- these identities are not "opposites" of one another. denying a trans woman/femme their identity because they are a person of color and don't align with your idea of what a woman/femme should look like, you are also racist as hell, which is a huge part of transmisogyny.
