I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and at the same time listening to the audio book by Steven Fry.

It's a surreal experience. It's like being present in every scene.

headcanon about the rain

so it’s a couple years after the war

ron and hermione are married and are pretty…absorbed…

draco hasn’t had anyone to talk to since his mother moved to france

he doesn’t know where his dad is anymore

and ofc harry’s been pretty lonely

london is pretty rainy

which harry loves

and draco hates

so draco is trying to get home from work and is just completely soaked through and pissed as all get out

and our lovely boy harry is standing out in the middle of london in the rain

for no reason

harry’s walking around with his eyes closed taking in the rain and who does he run into but draco malfoy

how did you know

draco is pretty pissed

but harry is pretty

especially in the rain

somehow harry manages to convince draco to stop for coffee to warm up from the rain

and they talk

and talk and talk and talk

for two people who hated each other so much in school, they sure have a lot in common

over time they become better and better friends

they start off slow just meeting once a month or so to chat

before they know it theyre talking 24/7

they have dinner at each other’s apartments pretty much every night

until one night it’s raining again and harry doesn’t want draco to have to go home alone in the rain

sure he could apparate but nOpe

so harry offers for draco to stay the night

it’s not weird

they open the windows

they turn off all the lights

and just sit on the couch and watch the rain

sometimes they talk

sometimes they sit in silence

but sometime, without either one of them knowing how or who leaned in first

they kiss

it’s sweet and quiet

just like the rain

theyve spent so much time together

healing and learning and laughing

and harry never wants it to end

so he tells draco

um so i think i love you

and at first you know draco is in shock

he’s been kinda crazy about harry since that first day in the rain

so he responds the only way he knows how

you think??

Finally got around to reading Six of Crows by @lbardugo after crying for many many days over Lupin's death.

Has anyone read SoC?

I'm listening to the audiobook and I'm not super into the voices for Kaz and Inej so far but I can't bring myself to just read the physical book either.

The world and characters seem super interesting though!
