I Technically Missed It By About 2 Hours, But Theres Never A Bad Time To Talk About Trans People, So

I technically missed it by about 2 hours, but there’s never a bad time to talk about trans people, so happy transgender day of visibility everyone! Hope you’re all feeling especially corporeal today, I know I am.

What kind of art do you like??

Thank you for the ask!

I consider myself someone with a pretty wide range when it comes to my taste in art. There’s something to be appreciated in every piece of art work. That being said I do have certain things I enjoy more in art.

I’m a huge fan of anything super stylized or unrealistic. Things like cartoons, surrealist art or abstract paintings. I also love colour, the more eyestrain the better.

In terms of the subject of the art, I like weird things. Floating eyeballs and spirals and bugs and body horror. Horror art and pieces with super cryptic messages or weird symbolism are high on my list.

Sculptures, paintings, digital art and traditional art are probably my favourite mediums of art. Oil pastels are something I am especially fond of, both in art I make and art I look at.

I think that about covers everything. I love art just in general, its rare I find a style I genuinely dislike, but those are my favourite qualities in art.

Man cave, but not like a cave for men, rather, a cave of men. A bunch of guys sitting on each other’s shoulders with their arms linked together forming a large dome. They sleep in shifts so there’s always enough men awake to keep the dome supported. Perhaps one day they could even form a man sphere and roll around. Imagine the places they’d go.

Do you think we should, as people, move on from the need of breathing air?

Yes. I’ll even go so far as to say we should stop breathing altogether. Instead we should absorb carbon dioxide through our pores. We can use it to start photosynthesizing when we start growing leaves instead of hair.

what are your thoughts on the assasination of archduke franz ferdinand

Death is bad, the war it helped start is also bad. I do like that theres a band called Franz Ferdinand and they have a song called “take me out” tho

i really love the nuance and bleeding of lines between the fears in tma and i don't think people talk enough about it. like, the vast and the buried can't exist without eachother, which you might think would make them opposites, but they are so close to eachother, the prime example being the ocean. and the similarities between the spiral, web, and stranger are fun to think about, like, the way they fuck with your reality and perception and everything. then we obviously have the similarities of the eye and the web with information gathering. the vast and the lonely are actually pretty connected because if you think about it, you feel the most lonely in a big open space with no one around. the corruption and the buried, bugs live underground. corruption and web, connectedness. there's so many connections you can draw it's great! and let's not forget about the one that presides over most of the others, the end. it looms over almost every fear, it's so cool!!

It really is so cool. I love the idea of all these other worldly fear powers that are so incredibly different being so alike. I love that they all need each other to exist, and no matter how different they all are.
