Kiri tamed Tanhì at a very young age simply by asking it to be her friend instead of using the banshee catcher.

In 2169, after the second human invasion on Pandora, Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuktirey were taken hostage and imprisoned in Hell's Gate. From there they were freed by Spider. As the children fled through the woods, Tanhì found them and landed nearby to help them get home. At that moment, however, it was shot dead by SecOps soldiers much to Kiri's horror.

Additional Info - Trivia:

Tanhì was depicted as being a green color earlier in The High Ground, but was then changed to a purple color.

James Cameron has stated that the color indigo is associated with Eywa, making it tie-into the color of Kiri's banshee.

Kiri lost her banshee to the RDA, similarly to her adoptive mother's banshee.

Kiri can be seen riding a new banshee in Avatar: The Way of Water, implying she tamed a new one after Tanhì's death.

"Tanhì" means "star" and "bioluminescent freckle" in the Na'vi language.

Bakugou is the nosiest kid I have ever seen. Put it in your fics. Make use of him constantly coming to incorrect conclusions.

Midoriya is actually a really violent kid, he just has the patience of a patron saint. The entire world is lucky he’s too sweet to act on his anger. (Go look in his notebook)

Iida is so shady. “One is my friend and the other one is Bakugou.” COME ONNNNN

Kaminari is such a girly pop y’all. Y’all don’t give him enough silly gen z slang. Please go listen to how he speaks in dub. Sounds like he has 6 sisters.

Uraraka is so unreasonably chill. Almost nothing bothers that girl. Please make her more vulnerable to things because she just can’t be assed to care.

Kirishima is a shit talker, and regularly puts people in their place. Y’all keep writing like him like he’s some little puppy. This man is a Doberman.

I find each of our Sarentu friends interesting. Nor: who desperately wants to be apart of the Na'vi again but struggles with a disconnect to it all. Teylan: who practically lives in fear of Pandora and wants as little as possible interaction with the Na'vi. Then Ri'nela: who wants to know more about the Sarentu but is choosing caution and safety first. Of course lastly is our character, who takes to it all like a duck to water.

I hate when yall write the same kind of personality for self insert fics.

I don’t want to keep seeing the same easily flustered, no backbone, cries a lot Y/N. Here are some versions that I think would work better for each character.

Sweetheart Y/N: Caretaker, blushy, scolds character for not taking care of themselves. Best for slice of life AU’s or as a quirkless character. [Midoriya, Hawks, Dabi, Toshinori, Aizawa]

Goofball Y/N: Silly, playfully sarcastic, best friend type, takes nothing seriously. [Bakugou, Shigaraki, Todoroki, Aizawa]

Bitchy/Bratty Y/N: Tackless, competitive, well meaning, emotionally constipated. [Kirishima, Iida, Midoriya, Bakugou, Sero]

Bestie/Sacrificial Y/N: Fun, overly understanding, forgiving, compassionate, competitive. Best for angst and/or character development. [Dabi, Shigaraki, Bakugou, Aizawa, Hawks.]
