This is Eman a Biotechnologist from Gaza. Asking for help is not easy. It's not easy at all. You have no idea how mentally and emotionally tiring this is. But when thinking that the price is my family's life, getting out of here safely and achieve my doctoral degree dream, it just pushes me more and more to do this until we reach our goal. I'm here as I try to reach out to more people asking for their help to support our family's campaign so we can survive while all you have to do is literally donating even by just the price of your morning coffee or maybe a simple breakfast, So I think I'm not asking for so much. We're really tired of living under these catastrophic conditions for a whole 10 months. Your generosity will not only change our lives but also remind us that even in our darkest hour, we are not alone. https://gofund.me/d597b8e2

BRUISES AND BANDAGES
( Mark Grayson x reader || you don't know he's Invincible- but you patch him up anyway )

"I never knew you could be so nice." Mark comments as you patch up his hands, watching as you intricately tie little bows on the joints of his fingers. "I'm not that nice." You say, trying to downplay his praise as you tug the gauze on his pinky, looking up at him as you sit on your living room floor.
That stupid smile on his face made your heart flutter. Even with all those bruises on his face, he still looked pretty.
"I'm just looking out for you. Next time, try to actually look where you're walking." You try to lecture him. You try to sound mad that he got himself hurt, but you simply couldn't. To Mark, your words came off as endearing. Even when you tried to deny it.
"Do you have any of those Pochacco bandages?" He asks, smiling down at you despite his injuries. "You want to waste my good bandaids, Grayson? You're spoiled." You say back, clearly not meaning your words. Mark knew that. You knew that. You both knew that.
You get up from the floor of your living room carpet, dusting off your sweatpants. "Stay here. Don't even think about moving an inch, you hear me?"
"I won't, I won't." He reassures, putting his bandaged-up hands up in the air as he rests up against the couch.
You cared for Mark.
And it showed with the little bows you tied on his fingers while he rested his sore back on your living room couch, it showed through when you hurried him inside without a second thought.
"You better not." You shoot him a glance before you slip your house slippers back on, making your way into the bathroom to rummage around in your medicine cabinet for said bandages.
Mark's eyes wander around the decor in your living room. Sure, he's seen it all before but he didn't know where else to look besides directly at you. "Stay still." you steady his face by tapping the side of his jaw gently, making him face you. "You gotta stay still or else this bandaid's gonna go on wonky." Mark quietly studies your features as you cover his cuts with dog-themed bandages you had to restock weekly because of him.
Awkwardly, he says a small "sorry" in your direction, eyes flitting from your face to your hands. "It's fine, Mark. You're gonna make me go broke one day, but it's fine." you pat his shoulder, signaling that you were done with your handiwork.
Not having anywhere else to be besides home, he slides on the house slippers you gave him.
He studies his own face in the mirror near the door, tilting his head from side to side to see just exactly where you put those 'good' bandages of yours.
As he checks his face for damage he sees you in the corner of his eye. "You still look pretty, don't worry." you reassure him, leaning your head on his shoulder. Mark smiles to himself, covering his smile with his hand as he traces over the bandages you put on his cheek.

so yeah..it’s been awhile since I posted a fic which is mostly because I haven’t been wanting to write. I’ll probably start writing again sometime in the future but for now don’t expect any fics. I’m very sorry for that but I can’t write bc I just don’t know what to do 😔

(Non) Heart-Shaped Sunglasses
( Billy Butcher x reader || helping you out by letting you borrow his sunglasses )

You quint as you walk beside Butcher, struggling a bit to keep up with how fast he was going.
Sure, you both knew you had places to be, but did he even consider the fact that you were supposed to get to the safe house together?
"Jesus fuckin' Christ it should be illegal to wax a car that damn bright." You say in obvious disdain, shielding your eyes from the brightness reflecting off of the hood of the car.
Butcher notices your disdain. The way you were cussing out the poor owner of the parked Miata makes him snort a bit. Just enough to make you look over in his direction.
Seeing the way you squinted to look at him made him feel slightly bad for laughing. He stares back at you with his sunglasses on.
Butcher stops in his tracks, just long enough for you to catch up.
"Ye look like an absolute wuss. Here." Butcher takes his sunglasses off, handing them out to you.
To your surprise, there's a slight softness in his eyes. Butcher, of all people, seemed to care about you.
You look down at his sunglasses, then back up at his face. His eyes narrow, as if he knew you were catching onto him letting down his guard.
Before you could say a thing, he cuts you off. "We ain't got all day for ye t'doll up. C'mon. Get on yer feet." He shoves his sunglasses into your hand, turning around to presume walking.
You quickly get back onto your feet, clumsily putting the sunglasses he handed to you on. You didn't have time to look in a mirror
As you enter the large crowd of people on the street, Butcher looks behind his shoulder, patiently waiting for you to catch up. Seeing the way his sunglasses fit on your face made him smile as he turned around again.

Fundraiser by Rawda Harb : Please help Shamaly family SURVIVE Gaza & start a new life!

Hello. Hello, I'm Diya. I am running a donation campaign for my children and family. They are living in very difficult circumstances after we lost our home and our workplace, and the family has no source of income. Do you know what is happening in Gaza and the famine there? 🚨🚨🚨 I want to find a safe place for my children and family. They are now in tents. There is no life, no food, and no drinking water. The tents are like sitting in a hot oven. 🚨🚨 Saado Amal Ali and her family leave Gaza to a place of safety 😭😭🙏🙏🍉🍉🔻🔻🇵🇸🇵🇸
today's vetted fundraisers. eid just began - instead of a happy time of togetherness and celebration, families like these are having to spend the holy days amidst the cruelest of circumstances, deprived of all components of safe and healthy life. now is a more vital time than ever to support these campaigns. any contribution you can make is valuable.

Hello,
I am Tamer Al-Deeb, a Palestinian dentist from Gaza.
[Picture of Tamer before the war in his clinic]

I have hesitated and delayed for a long time to write these words and create an account on GoFundMe, but the need has become very urgent due to what I see of death approaching myself and my family.
To begin our story, it is important to introduce my family, who are the core of my existence and the source of my strength during these turbulent times:
We are a family of four suffering for over 9 months from a brutal war that spares neither humans nor stones.
Mother: The Heart of Our Home
My mother embodies generosity and kindness as a devoted homemaker, always prioritizing her family's well-being. Her unwavering love remains our sanctuary amidst the chaos.
Father: The Pillar of Strength
My father, Majed, a dedicated professor, faced the destruction of the university he served. Despite this, his commitment to education and society remains unshaken.
Brother: A Beacon of Healing
My brother, Mohammad, a compassionate doctor, confronts the challenges of healthcare amidst dwindling supplies and occupation brutality, showcasing remarkable dedication to healing.
Tamer: A Dream Deferred
As for myself, Tamer, I was on the verge of a new beginning, with aspirations to further my career in Germany. I had saved thousands of dollars for the mandatory block account to support my stay abroad. However, the conflict has not only shattered my professional dreams but also consumed what didn't burn of my savings, compelling me to fight for my family's survival amidst the escalating costs of basic human necessities.

[Picture of the family before the war]

I have lost the lives of my dearest friends, neighbors, and much of what I loved.
We have lost our home with all its dreams and memories. A five-floor house completely leveled to the ground!!
[Pictures of the destroyed house]

I lost my clinic, my only source of livelihood.

My neighborhood .

Since the beginning of the war, we were forced to flee our home in the north of the Gaza Strip to the supposed safe area in the south. But unfortunately, this was just the beginning. We have been displaced four times in the same southern area, fleeing from death always surrounding us.
Initially, we fled to a school belonging to the UNRWA in the Nuseirat camp until we were forced to move to another area, and the Maghazi camp was the intended destination. Then a UNRWA school, where we were residing in a tent inside, was targeted, killing 7 civilians. We were forced to flee again to a tent in Rafah, but the scarcity of clean water and the spread of epidemics and diseases forced us to flee again to a UNRWA school in the Deir Al-Balah area until now.
UNRWA has been providing refuge to hundreds of displaced families for the past six months at schools that have become vital community hubs, offering shelter to thousands of individuals trapped in the southern region.
Women and children sleep inside classrooms, and the men sleep outside in tents set up in the courtyard. Rainstorms recently have flooded our tents, and it's very difficult to take care of our basic needs.
[Pictures of Tamer after the war in the UNRWA school and his tent]

I am currently volunteering at Al-Aqsa Hospital, assisting in the maxillofacial surgery department. However, a sense of helplessness and despair often overwhelms me. It's hard to put into words the horrors and injuries I witness daily. Surrounded by the shroud of death and the cries of the wounded, I feel powerless. "I want to save you, I want you to live," I often think, "I will do everything in my power to make it happen!" Sadly, many times, they become part of the countless casualties from my homeland. The shortages in food, water, and medical supplies are dire, to the extent that we sometimes perform surgeries without anesthesia. The suffering is unimaginable.

Now we hope to escape death, we hope for the end of the war, we hope to leave the Gaza Strip, and we hope to live a decent life away from bombing, occupation, and destruction.
It has been 9 months of hell and horror. This genocide has been too long to bear, and our mental health and lives are in constant danger. (I can’t describe enough what I have been dealing with daily in the hospitals for the past days. We have reached a point where there is no hope left for us here in Gaza, where we are unfortunately just waiting for our turn to die, and even if there is a ceasefire, the destruction in Gaza is beyond prompt repair
Evacuation fees are expensive, especially now that I have no source of income. Once we can evacuate, your donations will cover our travel expenses and help us get immediate support in Egypt. There will be meal expenses, wardrobe expenses, emergency expenses, etc., but no generous contribution will go to waste.
To cross the “Rafah” Gaza-Egypt Borders, you need to have your name listed in the Crossing List (paid permit), and coordinators in Egypt who have the power to add my family’s names to the list at the border are now asking for anywhere from $6-8,000 per PERSON! They will not add the names until we can prove we have the money ready.
I ask for your help because this is not just my battle alone, but a battle in which we seek your helping hand to survive and preserve our families. Any donation, big or small, will have a huge impact on the lives of my family and me. I am grateful to everyone who donates, and I will remain grateful forever for giving hope and opportunity to me and my family to survive and build a better future.
Thank you for reading my story. For sharing my story with your friends and family. I hope, there is a ceasefire, and we can get the rest and safety we deserve to build our lives all over again. ❤️

BABY , DO YOU MISS ME ?
( Damnation!Leon Kennedy x GN!reader || he misses you more than he leads on, teasing, head-in-lap sitting, kissing ♡ )

“Absolutely breakfastless behavior.” You pretend to chide, clicking the roof of your tongue as you watch Leon simply kick off his boots, not even bothering to set them neatly off to the side.
“What are you, my mother?” He says back playfully, fixing his work boots neatly near the door. You roll your eyes at this as you help him out of his jacket, a heavy yet form fitting turtleneck you had no idea where he got it from. When did he even have time to shop designer when he was constantly out and about? You really didn’t have time to think as you hung his jacket on the rack.
You were honestly just glad he came back to you in one piece.
“You said you’d come back last week.” you cross your arms as you watch Leon flop himself onto your couch, like he owned the place. He blows his bangs out of his face with a huff. “Since when were you so cutthroat about the time?” he brushes off your concern as he stretches his arms as he lays on his side. You sigh a bit at his nonchalant attitude towards your worry. You sit next to him, your collective weight with his own makes the couch creak slightly.
The silence lingering in the air makes Leon feel like he did something wrong.
His lips form a straight line, then a slight frown when he sees the look on your face. He shifts in his spot, fumbling forward so that he’s on his stomach, looking up at you with those tired eyes of his. God fucking damn it, Leon.
It was hard to stay annoyed with him with the way he was looking at you. With a tilt of his head he asks, “Are you mad at me?” he looks up at you, his chin almost landing into your lap. He wasn’t trying, really. You were finding it hard to keep the annoyed look on your face as he searched for your reaction on your face. “I’m not…” you trail off, your free hand already playing with the stray strands of dark hair that blanketed the back of his head. “Why would I be mad at you?” you ask in reply, running your hands through his hair out of habit.
“I’m not mad.” you say after you ask your question, which makes Leon feel slightly relieved. He didn’t get how you had the patience to stay with him for so long, but he wasn’t complaining. “Just worried.” Leon, not knowing what to say, turns onto his back to lay his head in your lap. Actions spoke louder than words, right? Leon wasn’t the best with words.
He tilts his head again as he stares into your eyes, his hand gently lowers your shoulder. Leon lifts himself a bit to make contact with your lips on his. It’s been so long since you’ve kissed him, you can feel the scruff of his stubble brush up against your skin.
You pull away to catch your breath, a smile creeping onto your face.“Is that your way of apologizing to me?” you ask, a playful edge in your tone. “My way of making up to ya, sweetheart.” he smiles back seeing the annoyed look on your face wash away as soon as he calls you one of his stupid pet names.
“C’mere,” you lift him up with all your strength, lifting 155 pounds of pure muscle was as hard as it looked, especially by the shoulders. Once he’s at eye contact level, you lean in to kiss him again.
Eagerly, Leon kisses you back, using his hand to hold your head in place. “Missed me that much, huh?” he teases, as if he wasn’t thinking of this exact moment on the plane ride home. Thinking about you made the ride back more bearable.

I am Hala, a child from Gaza, born in 2010, and I lived through all the wars in Gaza. Now I live in a tent with my mother, brother and sister. We fear death and miss our school days, my colleagues, and my education. Life in the tent is difficult, and we hug each other tightly as if it were our last hug. I lost my home, but I didn't lose hope. I pray that peace and security will return, so that I can return to school and continue my education. I would like to leave Gaza to live in peace and continue my journey. Gaza lives in my heart, and I live in the hope that one day peace will come. We created this campaign so we can get out of here with our lives, to get our lives back
