“Love” is dangerous

-His “love”, he feels for you isn’t love…just a messed up obsession he has with you. -He’s too selfish for his own good to kill you or let you live your life freely.

-Threatens you to let him hide out in your home while also keeping you trapped in it. He’s doesn’t allow you to go out without you telling him where you’re going. Even then he’ll probably refuse for you to go. Unless it’s to get groceries and living essentials. Let’s you make some phone calls but rarely.

-Will physically restrain if he thinks you’re “disobeying” him or planning on leaving him. Usually haves him holding you by your wrists tightly.

-Scares you a lot since he’s pretty silent, and he enjoys the fact that he can easily creep up on you.

-Has probably thought of killing you before. But if he did, he could only do it once. And then he’ll go back to his normal but boring routine. He likes to see on how far he could break you.

-The rare soft moments you have with him is when your asleep. He likes to keep you close to him, pulling you in next to him while your fast asleep. Gives a hug from behind once a while. Doesn’t like giving much affection or receiving it. Sometimes he’ll let you cuddle with him but it’s more one-sided.

-Goes out a lot to do his usual killings and comes back very late. Usually covered in blood when he gets home. He lets you deal with cleaning his suit. (Clean fella)

-Michael is a dangerous man. He’s willing to hurt you so you won’t be able to get away from him…and also willing to hurt your love ones so you can stay his.

-His “love” for you will never go away until he dies or you die first.

CAPTAIN SPAULDING'S HOUSE OF HORROR

( Ethan Winters x GN!reader || drive-in movie theater date ♡ typical horror movie elements ahead!! nothing too harsh, though, enjoy !! ♡ )

You can hear Ethan humming to himself from inside as he grabs two tubs of popcorn at the stand some feet away, one for him, one for you. It’s Buttered and salted, just the way you wanted. He hurries over to your parking spot, in the corner of his eye he can see the credits begin to roll on the screen. His sneakers squeak a bit against the asphalt as he walks over to his car, unintentionally giving you a scare as you see his head pop in through the open window of his vintage Dodge Challenger.  “Oh shit, sorry.” Ethan chuckles to himself as he passes your tub of popcorn through the open window to you, leaning in to make sure it doesn’t spill, stretching his hand out to hand it to you. “Here,” he says with a huff, a little strained. It’s not like he takes the time to stretch often, the least he did was hold them out in front of himself in the mirror. Besides that, Ethan was as stiff as a stick.

He props the driver’s side door open, hopping into his seat with a bounce. “How’s the movie so far? Didn’t miss anything, did I?” he asks, looking over at you with a tired smile.

You’ve both been looking forward to this entire week, the both of you pooling aside enough money for a parking spot and snacks.

“Typical B-horror movie stuff. Trust me, you didn’t miss much.” you reply, tossing a couple popcorn pieces into your mouth as you watch the screen. “Why’d you pick this place for our date anyway?” you ask him with popcorn-filled cheeks, your words slightly muffled as you spoke. 

“I wanted an excuse to take you out in my car.” he jokes softly, sipping soda from the cup you paid too much for. You chuckle a bit at his excuse, knowing there was definitely more behind that happy-to-be-there look on his face. 

You were there, he was there, both of you were there for something. You didn’t pay thirty dollars worth of snacks and drinks for nothing. 

“This is actually one of my favorite movies.” Ethan admits as you both watch the final girl get snatched by one of the crazed family members and brought into a gruesome-looking room. Brutal. “Really?” you asked, glancing dubiously over at him. He had some sort of look in his eye, a shine, even as he stared up at the screen in black and white.

”Yeah, really.” he replies, feeding a handful of popcorn into his mouth again. Halfway through the bag, and you’re barely an hour and  fifteen minutes into the movie about a crazy family tormenting teenagers. One of Ethan’s favorites. Huh. 

As if he can read your mind, Ethan speaks up sheepishly; “It’s really cheesy but..” Ethan laughs to himself, a complete 180 to what was happening on screen. You listen intently to his words, drowning out the screams of the people on screen. The revs and roars of chainsaws too. All for him. 

“This is one of the first movies I watched in college. When I first moved out. You probably didn’t hear about this movie before I told you about it, right? It’s really obscure.” Ethan looks at you with an excited  smile on his face as he speaks. You don’t realize it for a moment, but you’re smiling as well. It cracks across your face easily when he speaks. Hearing the sincerity and fondness in his voice as he spoke made you feel something too. 

“Right. What’s this movie called again? Captain Spaulding’s…?” You trail off, the name of the movie lingering on the tip of your tongue. “Captain Spaulding’s House of Horror.” Ethan says the full title of the movie, which was a mouthful to say without hesitation. 

“Captain Spaulding’s House of Horror.” you repeat word-per-word, nodding your head.

The movie ends with a psychedelic looking still of the supposed final girl getting dragged down into a shallow grave by a man in a bunny costume. The shocked gasps and screams of the other couples around you at the sudden jumpscare doesn’t get much of a reaction out of you as you sip from your soda cup. Both of your tubs of popcorn finished, you glance over at Ethan to see what he thought of the ending, despite the fact that he told you he’s seen this film before and that it was one of his favorites. His cheeks were filled with the remnants of his tub of popcorn, eyes all wide as if he were trying to burn the still of the final girl screaming and being dragged to her demise into his retinas. 

“So,” Ethan takes the soda cup away from you, placing it next to his. What a gentleman. “What do you think?” he asks, leaning a bit closer to you as the credits roll over the screen. “You don’t seem too scared by it.” he comments, a bit surprised by how unfazed you looked. 

“I can’t believe you watched this.” you say, the expression on Ethan’s face shifts and his brow turns up in a note of near-hurt concern.

“Did you not like the movie? Was the ending too cliche for you?” He starts, almost stricken at the thought of it being a bust of a date. 

“Without me.” you add quickly, and the nervous  look on his face fades as quick as the stoic one on yours does, both of you cracking stupid grins at each other as he gladly listened to what you loved about the movie. 

Captain Spaulding’s House of Horror. 

“You had me worried back there,” Ethan chuckles on the drive home, his hands loosely gripping the steering wheel. Neither of you were in a rush to get back home, the thrilling feeling of watching the movie still lingered in the air, your lower jaw hurt a bit from talking about what you thought about the movie. “I’m really glad you showed me that movie, hon.” you say, leaning your head on his shoulder as he drives. “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have seen Captain Spaulding’s Horror House.” Ethan notes the subtle error in the way you said the movie’s title, it takes everything in him not to correct you and seem like an asshole. He’d rather smash his head on his steering wheel than seem like an asshole. “I mean- Captain Spaulding’s House of Horror.” you quickly correct yourself as soon as you catch on to your little mistake.
