I feel like a lot of people are grasping onto the faintest sliver of alterhumanity and taking it way too far. Especially dreams. Your dreams are just your brain trying to make sense of everything going on in your head. they arent "signs". If you shift in your dream after questioning your alterhumanity, it doesnt confirm it, it just means you've been unconsciously trying to sort through all of your confusion.

Ok but serious question here, where and how did the "i was an animal in a past life" thing pop out of, because last time i checked therianthropy is what you see yourself as in the present life included.

That would be just past lives or -heartedness, which would be normal to miss, but not therian.

Yo, any other alter/nonhumans considering going into/are already in fields relating to their experiences? For example, fictionkin & writing or literary analysis or journalism, therian & veterinary practice or zookeeper or aquarium caretaker, otherkin & theoretical STEM fields or history or mythology-based academia, etc. Cause I've been strongly considering going into certain fields and have been considering how my nonhumanity has been affecting this decision.
