Feast with the 7 lords (pt 1)

“There you are. Look how dashing you look” Lilia said as he presented you in front of a mirror. You looked nice no doubt. Perhaps a little too fancy but not completely out of style. “What is this for again” You asked as you turned to Lilia “Well we’ve been hiding you for so long, the last thing I need is complaints that you’ve not had all of your needs meet” Lilia explained “now, lets us be on our way” Lilia said as he begins to drag you by the hand out the changing room and to a large double doors “what’ll happen when i get in there” You asked as lilia smiles “arguing perhaps. But no harm will come to you. I’ll make sure of it” Lilia replies as he opens the door. The once bustling room went silent, you could hear the silverware shuffling around. That shuffling came from a guy with lion ears who’s green gaze just bores at you as he eats his stake. “Took you long enough, I’d thought we had to steal her ourself” that lion man states “There’ll be no thieving from you,Leona.Remember what we’ve agreed upon” A man with light-gray hair spoke as he fixes his glasses “But, he’s right about one thing. What took you so long Lilia. I thought you’d be more punctual than this,It’s almost midnight” The red hair lord asked as he crossed his arms “Now you know riddle, humans wouldn't be awake at these times” Lilia explains as he leads you to a seat right next to an empty middle chair. The tension was overwhelming; it's like breathing in heavy gas. You couldn't tell if this tight air was because of you or the rich history between the other lords. “So, what is the human’s name?” the beautiful lord asked “go on, introduce yourself” Lilia urged. You stood up from your chair and introduced yourself, fumbling on your words a little. “Why so nervous? We don’t bite. Well I don’t” The Light-gray haired lord asked as he smiled “that’s a lie and you know it Azul” said the beautiful lord “It’s a pleasure to meet you y/n. I am Azul Ashengrotto, Lord of the Octavinelle Covenant” Azul introduced. ‘Covenant?’ You wondered as he smiled “My territory is not far, so if you ever need my services I-” azul was quickly interrupted “awfully confident octopunk.” leona commented “well, I did pay a lot more for this kind of blood. And what did you give to the donors? Empty threats perhaps” Azul replied

The Heart of roses(pt 1)

You inhale and exhale “fine” you replied. The little chimera jumps for joy as he spins “Yes yes yes yes. You won’t regret this” he states “I hope not, now we need to go the the rose forest” you stated. Grim jumps and lands on your shoulder “guide the way henchmen adventure awaits” he commands making you roll your eyes. You walked down the road towards the city's gates which connect to the rose woods. Once you reached the gates there was another crowd. Loud gasp, chattering and even some screaming echoed through the mass. Once again you squeeze through only to be met with blood. Glore littered the gates. The bodies of guards decapitated with vines all over them, each vine grew around 1-4 roses with a whole bud growing from were the head would be. “Oh i thing I’m gonna be sick” grim gagged. you retreated from the crowd and tried to find a around the gate. While creeping by the walls, you managed to find a hole which goes through the walls so you both entered though. “Now we can continue to find the root of the problem.”  you stated which startled grim “Well I didn’t think you’d actually go in here. I thought we’re heading to the castle first” Grim exclaimed “we’re going to the castle after the deed is done. We need to find the issue here.” you explained as you continued walking “but but whatever that thing was that killed those guards is still here. From a monster to a magicless human you’re chances are 0 to none” Grim informed “so? I was task by the king of nightraven to help with this issue. Besides I didn’t even come prepared for a fight” you replied sheepishly “...oh we’re so doomed” grim deadpanned. The woods were covered in rose bushes of all shapes and colors. There were even roses growing on the trees. Despite the colorful scenery… there’s a lingering scent of char in the air. The smell grows deeper as you walk. “Augh! What is that smell it burns my nose” grim gagged “well at least it means those perpetrators haven’t gone far” you replied before you could walk one more step, a large cauldron dropped in front of you blocking your path “NOT A STEP CLOSER HUMAN” a voice boomed.

Heart of Roses (pt2)

From above. The creature flew down from the sky,landing on the cauldron. His appearance was mostly human aside from the wings and his horse-like tail “Begone or suffer his wrath” he states. You assume he meant the guardian of this place “easy deuce. This one means no harm” a voice spoke from behind. When you turned you spotted a tall centaur with green fur which matched his hair. He wore glasses and had a bag filled with herbs and spices “Cater told me you want to help. So i came as fast as i could” the centaur said as he rubbed the back of his head “but trey… what if” Deuce mumbled “that’s where you and ace come in.. where’s ace” trey asked “with Riddle. Oh he wanted me to tell you to hurry up” deuce replied sheepishly “alright… anyway what is your name so i don’t just call you human” trey asked “y/n and this is…” “grim the most powerful monster alive” Grim puffed as he stood proud on my shoulder. “Charming” he laughed “this way” deuce leads as we follow. The char smell and ash grew as the once clear forest became murky and suffocating. I used my cloak as a mask as we venture deeper in the smog as grim coughs “jez who burnt there bread!? It smells horrible in here” grim asked “simple. People tried to kill the guardian here and end up burning the heart of roses” Trey explains as he wore his own cloth mask. “I’ve heard but I didn’t think it’ll be this bad. How can i find the perpetrators” you asked “as much as riddle would love that, we have to fix the garden first or everyone will die from the smog.” Trey explains “hints why we need to talk to Riddle. He know more than we do” Deuce adds. The smog began to clear much to you and grim’s relief yet deuce and trey looked more tense. Trey trotted in front of us as we entered cautiously. Then suddenly, something sharp grazed past your face, making a hole through your hood “You dare show up after my warnings” a voice spoke infront “I SHALL HAVE YOUR HEADS” it then boomed “Riddle wait!” trey exclaimed as he moved directly in front of me. “Move Trey, these trespassers must be taught a lesson. I shall make examples out of them” Riddle yelled which made grim jump “they’re here to help. Just hear them out” Trey begged. you peeked from behind trey to see a humanoid entity. Parts of his skin had green tents,covered in black char, his hair was red with black shoots all over. His cloths looked to be made from rose petals, as much as you can tell for he looked burn and weak “How would they help? Their kind was the whole reason for this mess. The queen has yet to taken the heads of those perpetrators. No peace or help from any human unless I have those criminal’s heads” riddle hissed as he sits back on his rose throne. Besides the throne was another humanoid male. He looks similar to Deuce,wings on his back, yet he has a lion’s tail, wild hair style and he has more red-terracotta colors in contrast to deuce’s blue colors. The male tilted his head and met my gaze “ya, I don’t think they can help even if they tried. Despite the smoke i smell no magic from them” the male shrugged “But It may be the only way to help restore the forest.” deuce stated, speaking up a little “hey henchmen” grim whispered as they argued “there’s footprints going away from the center” grim adds as he points to the tracks to the side of us “we should go. I think this argument is a losing battle” grim advised and you nod
