And then I stumbled on this.

OMG y'all it’s SO GOOD. IT’S SO GOOD. I’m only halfway through it and I’ve come close to tears a number of times because of the feels.

The slow burn between Steph and Alex is beautifully written. The emotions build naturally, and we get to see it all from Steph’s perspective. The idea behind it is to fill in the void of storytelling from the time skip in-game. (Yes, it has spoilers!)
