always the blood on my face.
"heaven doesn’t mean jack shit to me," the angel says, clipping his wings, his sulfur silver feathers. we press rags to the open wounds.
"i hate god and i don’t trust the stars," the angel says. he wants to move his arms out of the way. but it hurts, all along his spine.
