Sorry This Ones A Little Long.

Sorry this one’s a little long.
I got a good response on my last tutorial, and I want to thank all of you for that. I revived a handful of questions and requests on other subjects too, so, a least for a while, I’m going to post a new tutorial (or tutorial type thing) once or twice a month. If you left a question or request you’re on my list and I promise I’ll get to you, just be patient (these things are kind of involved to make). Also, if anyone else has a request, please feel free to comment and let me know!
Thanks again!!

Can you do a character design tutorial? I know what character I want but when it comes to drawing them, I get stuck
Look, I'm probably the last person that should teach people character design, taking into consideration that there are people who really know what they're doing out there.
My advice is, study character designers' work. This is an amazing resource: https://characterdesignreferences.com/ This is where you can find works of the real artists.
I'll show you how I create my own characters and what I pay attention to, but keep in mind I do this for fun. I'm not a professional and not very good at all this. When I draw my characters they sometimes change appearances. A lot of things is very intuitive and I just draw until I see my character. So yeah xD Take it with a grain of salt.

This is what I try to repeat in every drawing of the character. Mostly eyes and noses but also face shapes. I try to keep proportions the same. Hairstyles are not that important but they can also be characteristic.

Try to play with shapes, see what adds to the personality of the character. Think why your character might look like this and not differently. Does their world influence their hairstyle or make-up etc.

Good luck with designing your characters! You can do this! :)

i know how hard hands can be and i struggle at it too sometimes
EDIT: i mean to say ‘3 joints’, not ‘3 knuckles’ in the 3rd picture
Can you do a tutorial on how to draw faces from different angles? Thank you!
Check this tutorial by Sinix [x]
Also a quick little thing:

You have to know how to draw the skull because there’s no other way you’ll know the anatomy and where to put what. Find a good reference of the skull from different angles, draw it to understand the whole structure of the face so you can see it in 3D. Check different photos of people, draw from life, use a mirror and draw people you see around you, this is how you learn the best. Pay attention to what you see (shape of the eyes, how the distance between eyes and eyebrows changes with the angle, what the nose does what you can see and what you can’t depending on the angle). Look at the muscles. When you know the basics everything’s easier. Hope this helps a bit.
how to draw butts?? like not even nsfw or anything just,, butts
Hmmm I’m not that great at drawing butts either haha. I’ve really only drawn them in life drawing, and even then not really focused on them.
Here’s my attempt at a tutorial:

As always, when in doubt, block it out with basic shapes FIRST.
Also if you Google search “how to draw a butt” there are some great references ^_^
Can you do a nose tutorial? Your noses are nice and I just cant understand nose anatomy thank you
Thank you :)

My noses are very, very simple. They're basically half of the cone or a triangular based pyramid. Simplify the shape and see it in 3D to understand it, don't focus on details. You might want to buy some plasticine and sculpt it, could help understand the shape.
