It's Not Queerbaiting, Given We Have Literally One Of The Authors Saying That He Sees Crowley As Genderfluid

It's not queerbaiting, given we have literally one of the authors saying that he sees Crowley as genderfluid and that you "might as well" do the same. We saw Crowley present as a woman (for presumably YEARS) when she could've stayed masculine if she wanted to! That's queer as hell! Not only that, but the book confirms that angels don't have a sex or sexuality, right after saying that Aziraphale looks gay as fuck!

Given that, I do want them to be gay, specifically for one another. But that's me thinking they're adorable together.

Ok. I need to get this out. I'll preface this by saying I'm very excited for the new season to be released, and I can't wait to see more of our ineffable couple.

The thing is, I've seen a lot of posts where people are hoping that this season will 'confirm' Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship, or they're hoping to get a kiss to make it 'official'.

Listen. Listen. Aziraphale and Crowley are already in a relationship. More importantly, they're in a queer relationship. Their relationship is already outside the norms of Heaven and Hell, Aziraphale visibly dresses as a gay man and has been among the gay social circles in history, Crowley changes his gender presentation and is comfortable with it, and they're both queer and hence their relationship has always been queer.

Maybe they'll kiss, maybe they'll have a verbal declaration of their love, but if they don't, it doesn't make their relationship 'queerbaiting' or not queer enough. Just because they don't fit into your ideas of a queer relationship or explicitly state they're a gay couple doesn't mean that they're not queer.

Many aspec and even other queer people feel represented by Aziraphale and Crowley, and you do not get to take that away from us. Western media hasn't always been kind to gay relationships, but Good Omens is not one of them. If you do not like the representation, then feel free to watch other shows that have explicit romantic/sexual relationships. Don't drag this show into the apparent '''queerbaiting'''.

No, “cis gay men have visceral disgust reactions to the presence of vaginas that is rooted in mysoginy that reveals their grossly transphobic attitudes towards anyone they even suspect has a vagina” does not mean “omg op supports conversion therapy”. Read the fucking post again you dipshits. It’s not even about sex. You fucking moron. You are the exact asshole i’m talking about in this post. Just the presence of the word trans in the post makes you think it’s about sex? You have fucking brainworms.

idk when we decided that explaining yourself shouldn't be part of an apology but like. if someone was a dick to me and apologizes but I still don't understand why they did it I'm not gonna feel any better

I don't care how well behaved you think they are. If literal service dogs have to be leashed, so does yours.

Yesterday I was birding in a wildlife refuge and this huge dog without a leash and no owner in sight ran up to me and started barking at me, and getting closer and closer. Literally thought it was going to pounce. It had a collar, but no owner in sight. I'm not afraid of dogs, but I am afraid of any large animal that's angry and has the capacity to knock me over. After about five minutes of this dog growling at me and me trying to calm it down, its owner finally showed up, and was like......"oh haha I thought he was yelling at an animal." As if it would have been normal and fine for the dog to attack the wildlife.

It's a wildlife refuge. There are endangered species that live there. Dogs are required to be leashed at the park...you know why?? Precisely because dogs like to go after birds and other small creatures.

This isn't even the first time I've dealt with unleashed dogs....

I was at a beach, collecting seashells and birding, when a huge pitbull ran up to me growling. Thankfully it didn't attack and just sniffed my bag, but the owner was just a speck in the horizon, didn't care that their dog was running around doing god knows what. The dog could have gone after the wildlife, too.

People letting their cats roam free outdoors 🤝 People that let their dogs run around without a leash:

Endangering their pet, the environment, and other people with their stupid choices

Keep your dog on a fucking leash

I can pronounce all the funny science words so I eat whatever the fuck I want

"i only wanna eat things with ingredients i can pronounce" has always been one of the funniest moral positions of all time. literally just learn how to pronounce more ingredients then? truly undefeated in its celebration of ignorance
