Then you see Okoye (Danai Gurira) fighting with all the grace of a goddamn swan and you go, “Please spear me right through my cold dead heart so I can feel something.”

Next, Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) hynotises you up with her beautiful face and kind eyes and like the King himself, you freeze and your mind goes blank.

Oh then, Eric Killmonger (Michael B Jordan) shows up looking like a goddamn fuckboy who you will eventually thank for gaslighting you and then leaving you emotionally decrepit.

And then there’s Winston Duke as M'Baku who ’ll crack a joke and your skull all in one breath, and you will convince yourself this is the way to go.

And how can I forget Angela Bassett, whose literal presence will bless your soul, water your crops and cure your depression.
